  You will not be able to move it to a drive with the data on it. You will need to save everything that is on the E: drive to an external hard disk, uninstall the SSD and reinstall the HARD disk as the default drive and then restore a backup image of the installation on the SSD hard disk.

  I did a custom Win XPx64 Win 7 upgrade in which emerged the Windows.old folder on my C: drive. I'm trying to copy Windows.old to the root of a USB external drive using Windows Explorer.
