  I don't know if I understand your question, but you want to connect two laptops via the WLan. Am I wrong?
  Well, this type of network connection is called Ad hoc.

  Choose Start-> settings-> network connections, and then click the local network connection you want to share.   Hello! I am considering buying a Satellite A100-233 or M100-164. I was looking on the specifications for each, and I found that they are very similar (almost identical except for the size of the screen). However, I see that the M100-164 Toshiba Enhanced SpeedStep (referred to under "special functions"), but nothing on Toshiba Enhanced SpeedStep is mentioned for the A100-233. Does this mean that the A100-233 does not Toshiba Enhanced SpeedStep? If so, it means that the laptop A100-233 runs always full speed / full capabilites and never in a 'power saving' mode when idle?
