Satellite A100-237: unknown device after installing Vista
Hi all
Just installed vista on my A100-237... After doing the upgrade of the BIOS and the installation of the "unknown device" Value Pack, with the location "on system compatible ACPI Microsoft" appeared in my device manager, any ideas on how to address this issue?
Thanks in advance!
Hello
Could you please check if you can see the 'Batteries' entry under ' computer in Device Manager?
As far as I know that the entrance of batteries should have a "Microsoft SMART Battery" & "Microsoft SMART Battery subsystem.
If there is an unknown device, this might have something to do with Microsoft ACPI Compliant Embedded Controller.
In this case it seems that you need a driver for MS SMART SMART Battery & MS battery subsystem.

Before installing vista, have you checked if there are external devices connected to the system?

Unknown devices after installing Vista on Satellite Pro U200
Yesterday, I installed vista ultimate, but unfortunately my U200 is not compatible with vista because the tile would make me believe.
What does not work I have identified to date:
-Speakers and headphone jack
-Function keys
-Fingerprint readerAlmost any of the included toshiba software installs even after disabling "control of Application Security."
Does anyone know where I can get the new drivers and software or when they become available?
Otherwise really like Vista. It is very reactive and simplifies many tasks. This is very pretty too, but this isn't my priority.
Any help gratefully received
See you soonThis might help others with similar problems. I was able to get evrything working except my shortcut keys.

Hello
Regarding the point * 1: *.
The "PCI memory controller" or "Mass Storage Controller means the former Turbo Memory module Robson." This feature is only available on Vista, and that's why drivers are not available for Win XP.Check this box:
[No driver Windows XP for PCI memory controller | http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB83023N0000R01.htm](* 2) * I put t know how it works with your camera, but I need to first install the cam drivers then I connected the camera to the laptop with a FireWire / USB 2.0 and then I turned on the video camera.
My A200 she recognized immediately. -

Satellite L350-203 belongs to the series PSLD8E and the drivers for this series are on the European driver Toshiba page.

Y at - it a fix for this?

I agree with the user above. This sounds like the CIR port and you need to download this driver.
But I a bit confused about the light in the headphone jack of Mr. are you sure that there's a light or you can post a photo for example?

Tecra M7 unknown device after installing Win XP
Hello
I have a Tecra M7 Tablet PC.
After installing Windows XP Tablet PC edition and all the drivers for the Toshiba Homepage there are 3 s "unknown device" in Device Manager.
I installed the Ethernet drivers, but I do not see the adapter to the source 'network '.
What can I do to fix this?
MFG pizzaMAN
Since I n don't know what you mean devices I can't provide you with any information on the necessary drivers
You're talking about Ethernet driver you are meaning the LAN or WLan?
Usually the two cards (Wlan & Lan) should appear in devices-> network cards Manager
If there is an unknown device then it would mean that one of the pilots was not installed. On the European driver Toshiba page, you will find two Intel LAN drivers.
Check both!I put t know what your laptop wireless network card is because the Tecra M7 has been equipped with various wireless network cards, but all the drivers (Intel, Atheros) are placed on the page and you should try it!

Pavilion 11 x 2: unknown device after installing Windows 10
After the upgrade to Windows 10 my Device Manager shows that my PCI encryption/decryption controller has no driver installed. I tried to use the HP Web site to get all the drivers, but it still doesn't load the drivers Intel Trusted Execution and now shows "unknown device" with no driver loaded. How can I solve this?
You are the very welcome.
The driver that I posted did not work is because the Intel CITY device has been successfully installed.
The unknown device is a totally different animal, and he needs this driver...
This package contains the driver which allows Intel DynamicPlatform firmware and frame heat. AndThermal framework of Intel dynamic platform providing system utilizationinformation of temperature and power to the thermal protection system work properly. This package is provided for the laptop models running the asupported operating system.

Satellite A100-237 (PSAA9) crashes after update BIOS 5.10
I have a psaa9 A100-237
I recorded my book and went in the updates section
There was an update of the available BIOS, I had version 2 before I updated to 5.10.Now everything has gone well, but the laptop is restarted, it blocks every time on the start screen where the toshiba logo is displayed.
I can't log into BIOS, boot from the CD or anything.
When I press ESC black screen just showing bios version 5.10 memory pass and things, also written there is error TRM (TPM?) or not found.I used the method of updating the bios windows and followed all the directions, wts the problem?
Hello
May I ask why you updated the BIOS?
You are 100% sure that you have updated the BIOS with the correct procedure and used the good BIOS?
Have you read the Description of the Toshiba BIOS update before continuing? As far as I know the BIOS 5.1 has been released to use and install Vista on this laptop!
Hmm, maybe something goes wrong during the update procedure and, therefore, the laptop cannot load and start correctly. -

You reinstall the operating system on your laptop?
Generally, the laptop is delivered to the image of Toshiba and there should be some unknown devices in Device Manager
In the forum guys have put the link to the very useful document from Toshiba.
It describes how to identify the unknown devices.
http://support.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/TSB57014E000QR01.htmMaybe this will help you to know which unit it is.
Then, you can download the right driver from the Toshiba page -
Satellite U500-115 - unknown devices after the Installation of Win XP
Hello
I just installed Windows XP on a Satellite U500 - 115 (PSU5EE) and cannot get rid of several unknown devices in Device Manager.
Before to install the operating system, I changed settings AHCI in the BIOS to Compatibility-Mode (IDE), so I don't need to inject the SATA driver during installation.
These are the unknown devices:
ACPI\PNP0C32\1 (location: Intel ICH9M LPC Interface Controller - 2919)
ACPI\PNP0C32\2 (location: Intel ICH9M LPC Interface Controller - 2919)
ACPI\PNP0C32\3 (location: Intel ICH9M LPC Interface Controller - 2919)
ACPI\PNP0C32\4 (location: Intel ICH9M LPC Interface Controller - 2919)
ACPI\TOS6205\2 & DABA3FF & 0 (location: System compatible ACPI Microsoft)
Of course, I installed driver chipset and graphics driver from the toshiba download page, but the unknown devices are still there! Can you please tell me what kind of driver I need to install ACPI devices - and get rid of these unknown devices?
Thanks in advance,
HansHello
In my opinion the unknown devices belongs to the SATA interface controller and these appear as unknown device because you have installed the XP compatible mode.
Try to install the Intel Storage Manager driver.
ACPI\TOS6205 device can be a Bluetooth device.
You must install the battery Bluetooth to get rid of unknown device.welcome them
