  I have a Satellite A100-068 where Windows broke down. When I turn it on it says configuration update 3 of 3. After awhile it will restart and returns with the same message.   There is no any driver for the speaker s feature. What you're talking about is just a tool that allows different sound settings. As far as I know that his tool is called virtual sound. I have it on my Satellite M70 too.

  I checked the Toshiba download page and virtual sound really isn't there. I don't understand not why, but in the past, I noticed that the missing things appear sooner or later. Check the download page from time to time. Maybe you'll find it soon.

  Unfortunately the 64 bit Vista drivers are not available for this series of Satellite A100 PSAAR.

  Last chance would be installing some drivers unique from other series of laptops that are equipped with the same features.

  Try the driver Vista 64-bit of the other series and maybe some unique drivers will run.

  I think you should check what software could cause what I mean it of not impossible that a 3rd party applications that runs in the background would be the cause of your troubles

  As far as I know, this device is your laptop card reader and therefore you need to download the Flash Media driver from the Toshiba page.

  I checked the page but it s is only available for the 32-bit Vista or XP :(
