  The BIOS update and an update driver sound has solved these problems

  I have a fairly simple config running on my 877w and it looks good, but somehow 'show ip route' returns "default gateway is not defined".

  I tried both ' ip route 0.0.0.0 0.0.0.0 Dialer1' and "default ppp ipcp road", 'default gateway is not defined' problem be it.

  It could be a firmware issue, but the previous owner had the same ISP and I have nothing, but reset the router config.

  IP addresses are distributed as it should, I can access the server on the router, it's just there is no WAN connection.

  There is one more problem in which case they can be connected: when a client is connected to the router I get the "not ecnrypted dot1x package" error, even if it is not complete the connection and not really doing anything visible.

  I'm really sorry to bother you, but at this point, I am lost without assistance and none of my friends worked with ADSL. I'd appreciate very much any help.

  In the recovery for the operating system (win xp MCE) disk there are two iso: PEbase.iso and the HDbase.iso.
  After some snooping in the Northeast, I discovered what an enivorment of preinstallation and installation (sysprep) prepared.

  Now I wonder if it can be so simple place the image .tpa from the recovery disk in partition and install it whit a pe that works directly from this partition.

  The only real obstacle is that there is some .inf and .sif PES statically to the installation partition, which can be useful to know what has changed from the original version of xp MCE.

  I know that the question is not easy but I hope that in the expertise of the admins

  I doubt that it will work to be honest, I've never tested so I can't say exactly if it will work or not but in my opinion it is not possible

  New laptop model are equipped in HARD drive recovery option, but this recovery works completely different. There is an additional menu that allows to start the HDD recovery procedure.

  Your laptop supports the recovery disk and that disk must be used to retrieve the laptop.

  By the way; I have a Norton Ghost utility. I create my own image using this tool and placed it on the second partition. If something goes wrong with my OS I can restore the entire system using the shadow and the filename of the image to the other partition.

  I'm the reconstruction of a laptop Toshiba A100-PSAA9A-10U038 with a new installation of Windows XP Pro SP3.

  At this point, I have not all sounds (Yes, the volume is set to the top).

  Well, I think to upgrade to windows vista from my laptop (Toshiba Satellite A100 (PSAA9)). I was researching (little) on the drivers and hardware compatibility with vista, and it seems that if I update now, I can't find major problems. Is this true?
  I ask because when I was looking for drivers for vista, I found many (and some of those that exist, I can't download them!) But even without a driver, vista will recognize and install drivers 'default' for the material of my laptop? Can someone answer this with some?

  I upgraded my and installed all the drivers from the card reader SD me just used for XP drivers and they worked very well. There are a lot of vista drivers now available for this model, although I am having trouble with the value added package to allow me to use the function keys and access keys.

  Apart from that, I had no other problems!

• Satellite A100 (PSAA9A) and Vista DVD maker problem

  I just got windows ultimate on my laptop that I got about 2 and a half years and he says about this Windows Vista capable. So I have to drop out and everything but when I open something like Vista DVD maker, he says that my video card meets the minimum requirements.

After all that palaver he said the pilot has the last updated and doesn t need to be installed but it obviously hasn't t because it's model is something starting with 6 and the driver Vista I want download it something starting with 7, so I'm really stuck and really help.
