  If the system displays 4GB but 2.54 GB usable, the system recognizes that the memory is installed, but retains little memory for the physical operations.

  It is possible that the maximum memory is enabled. To change this, you need to go into the System Setup and check the Advanced tab startup options.

  You can also try the tests for a hardware problem or remove and reinstall the memory using the procedure described in the Service Manual (page 53) If you feel that there is a problem of physics with the memory.

  I have a Toshiba Satellite A105 and I went on vacation and the laptop was working fine. I ve come back and the power light is on, I can hear the laptop a few noises but the screen remains empty. I tried to connect another monitor to it to try to get out of the way, but nothing seems to work at all!

  Try this:

  (1) remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter
  (2) wait about 30 min
  (3) reconnect the battery and the AC adapter
  (4) try to put the laptop

  If it does not help I put t see any other solution as to contact the ASP in your country to control the laptop!

This plays ok on PC, but today when I imported a new animation project shows that the lower half of the image rather than the whole image. It seems to be half when plaid in the monitor.   I have a Toshiba Satellite L30 - 11 d, as shown in the subject. I had the laptop for a year before, I decided to move the ram to 2 GB. In 2008, I bought a RAM 1 GB DDR2 5300 AENEON chip and another microphone technology DDR2 5300 s 1 GB RAM chip.

I got Hynix 512 MB RAM in my laptop and I bought 2 x 1 GB memory Hynix these two are match sticks to the installed memory, but when I installed my laptop wouldn't boot at all. It would only boot if I had a stick in both.
