Can a little help if you please?

    Hello

You can buy this store on the computer HARD drive because it has an IDE interface. You can t use a HARD drive with the new SATA interface.

So I agree with Akuma. Already, I think that everything is written here.

  • Qosmio F10-132 - HARD drive failure - what HARD drive do I need?

Hello, my hard drive is down, I have to find another, on the external drive only from the web of toshiba 2.5 are available!

the HARD disk must be an IDE? not a SATA?

you, changed your? where to find it?

    Thank you

    Hello

AFAIK the Qosmio F10 needs SATA drives
I think that you should find these information in the user manual, or here in the forum, use the search option and you will get a few discussions about the HDD F10

However, these 2.5 SATA HDD can be bought from dealers for different laptop/computer or online (online store).
You do not need to buy a Toshiba HDD usually, you can use different hard drives from different manufacturers, but the plug of HARD drive be right!

  • Can not read the HARD disk capacity properly after the upgrade on my Satellite A135-S2276

I have a Satellite A135-S2276 and I recently updated my 80 gig HDD with a 320 GB HARD drive and drive C shows only 72 GB of available not the 300 - ish that it should have. I did some research and it seems that it should be there, perhaps simply not visible? Update the BIOS?

    Any suggetions?

    Thank you!

    Hello

I think that the A135-S2276 supports SATA HDD so I doubt that the issue of the LBA48bit could be the reason.

I found the details here on the Toshiba page we:
    http://www.CSD.Toshiba.com/cgi-bin/TAIS/support/JSP/modelContent.jsp?CT=DL&OS=&category=&MOID=1596141& rpn = PSAD6U & modelFilter = A135-S2276 & SelCategorie = 3 & selFamily = 1073768663

In your case, I would recommend formatting the disk HARD whole again.
In addition, you should check the size of the HARD drive in the BIOS.

Generally, if the HARD drive has been recognised in the BIOS correctly then the OS should see all 320GB too.

I have a Toshiba Satellite A135-S2276, I bought 2 years ago. It worked fine except the clock which has never kept the exact time since I bought it. I turned it off Sunday night as I do regularly. But he could not turn it on Monday afternoon. The power light is not on when you turn it on, but primer. The light remains on but does nothing. The screen is blank when feeding it works.

Can someone help me with the answer? Thank you

    Upgrade CPU 3).

    Hello

I agree with San Remo, upgrading CPU is harder than you think most often it s not advisable to replace the CPU for different reasons; one of the main reasons are overheating risk and compatibility problems with the BIOS installed.

The HARD drive and RAM can be improved and you could improve the SATA HDD to any size

  • Need drivers of Windows XP Home for Satellite A135-S2276

Hi, I have a few problems with my laptop that concerns me. I recently bought my Satellite A135-S2276 which comes pre-installed with Vista Basic. After using Vista for a week I have reformatted for windows xp sp 2, due to compatibility issues. Now, here's the problem.

After installing XP, I can't find the drivers. I hope that someone would want to guide me to a list of drivers for Windows XP on my laptop.

Also, my laptop seems to weigh frequently after the launch of a program even if there are no other programs running. I've also updated o 1.5 GB RAM.

I also wonder how to connect to wireless internet. My laptop seems well connection via Ethernet cable.

I hope that these three problems could be solved.

    Hello

Your laptop is an American model and everything what you need you should search on Toshiba U.S. page under http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_home.jsp

It seems that there is no drivers Windows XP Home available at this time. Try to find out what hardware components you have and download the drivers from equipment manufacturers directly download page.

  • Satellite Pro M70 - what HARD drive can you recommend?

I have Satellite Pro M70 and I have a 60GB HDD that I see what it s SATA 8 MB of buffer memory. The processor it s 1.73 GHz. I see that there is the Samsung typical 160 GB and the Western Digital Scorpio Blue 160 GB at the same price, which is better?

And for only $ 11 more there's a Scorpio blue Western digital 320 with even 8 MB buffer than other 2. But I don t think so 320, that's a lot for Satellite Pro M70, and I have an external drive 2.5 "250 GB, data with this is not problem.

What the best solution for this laptop? I don t want to burn now the phone LOL.

    Thank you

    Hello

If your laptop is already equipped with SATA interface, you can use each HDD with SATA1 or SATA2 port on the new SATA interface there is no limit on the old standard IDE

It s your choice what HARD drive you buy because I put t know your needs, but in my opinion it makes no difference which manufacturing you buy the HARD drive. All hard drives are similar and there is no significant difference (performance).
I made good experiences with Western Digital and Hitachi hard drives.

By the way: you can buy a HARD drive with 7200 rpm or 5400.rpm. Latter is faster but requires more power. In my opinion, this is useful if you often work with large files.

    Hello

    Satellite L300 supports SATA HDD!
SATA controller having no physical limit, you should be able to use any HARD drive 2.5 SATA. So, for example, a 500 GB 2.5 SATA 5400 RPM HARD drive should be compatible.

  • Satellite A205 - Vista backup center and restoration with a WiFi hard drive

I use Vista Ultimate Center of backup and restore to back up hard drive of my laptop Satellite A205 series on a wireless external hard drive. The external hard drive (which is formatted in NTFS) is directly attached (via USB) to my wireless router Belkin low, instead of being connected directly on my laptop.

I know that this WiFi network hard drive is recognized by my laptop series Satellite A205, because it appears as "Drive Z:" when I click on 'My Computer'... but the version of "Backup and Restore Center" which appeared on my laptop Satellite A205 only allows backup of DVD or directly - connected hard drive not the readers of (strange for a laptop with built-in WiFi) network.

By contrast, the version of the backup center and restaurant located on my computer to my lists one office (also Vista), drives on the computer at first - but it includes a "more:"hyperlink by which someone with rights Admin can click and access the network drives. "

This "more:"hyperlink does not appear on the version of the backup center and restore on my laptop Toshiba Satellite 205. "

I can't even someone at Microsoft to talk to me without first
    $ 69.95 for the 'privilege '.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi irsharp23,

    > but the version of "Backup and Restore Center" which appeared on my Satellite A205 laptop only allows backup of DVD or directly - connected hard drive not the readers of (strange for a laptop with WiFi built-in) network.
    Laughing out loud
I think that's not a junk Toshiba. Center backup and restore is designed by Microsoft and Toshiba has nothing to do with it. So I think you need to get in touch with the guys at Microsoft to ask for a solution, or there may be an update for this tool.
    Did you check that?

Moreover, why n t connect the external DRIVE directly to your laptop drive? I don't see a reason to connect such a disc HARD backup over the network, because this image of backup can be used only on your laptop.

Alternative, I can recommend Acronis True Image to record images of backup on the network or if you use Microsoft SyncToy to synchronize your files between laptops and network. ;)

Can you tell me what hard drive I'm able to install, such as what type of interface?
Do you also know if I can run windows 7?
and can you tell me if I installed a larger hard drive and a new operating system will be my original toshiba product recovery disk work.
then where in my drive hard is my factory set windows xp so I can remove and install the new operating system

    Hello

I m not a Satellite M70 owner but as far as I know this laptop comes with SATA drives. But you can check yourself if you remove the HARD drive and then you can see which interface it is.
If you have a SATA interface, you can buy each HARD drive you want. On interface SATA there is no capacity limit.

Normally you can install Windows 7 but it s not released yet. Theoretically, it should work but I'll wait until it's official market.

With a new HARD disk, you use the Toshiba recovery disc too. Why not? It s not dependent on the HARD drive you have so just boot make up and follow the instructions on the screen.

If you have any other questions, please let us know. :)

  • How do I not what SATA driver do I need for the Satellite L300 - 03C

How do I not what SATA driver do I need for the Satellite L300 - 03C so I can make nlite

    Hello

    Your laptop seems to be a Satellite L300 - 03C PSLB8C-03C01X.
As already indicated on your first visit to thread the Toshiba Canada page and choose this model of laptop on the driver page.
    http://209.167.114.38/support/download/ln_bymodel.asp

Then download the Intel Matrix Storage Manager (SATA) - image of floppy drive. It of for Vista, but the files in this package should work with Win XP too.
Include these files using nLite to create the new disk Win XP that contains SATA drivers.

Finally use this disk to start.

  • Satellite L20-100 can be started from a USB external hard drive?

I recently bought Toshiba Satellite L20-100 and I wonder if:
    1. is it possible to boot this machine from a disk usb external drive?
    2. it is possible to attach another internal hard drive?

Assuming that the two answers above are 'no', how can we solve the following problem: I need hard drive space, I need to launch 3 systems of separate Wxp operating on the same machine (Toshiba Satellite L20-100).

You are right. The answer is no. Only thing you can do is to create 3 partitions and install on each a favorite OS. Using the Boot Manager, you will be able to choose one that fits in the beginning upward.

  • Satellite A210-ICO - what HARD drive I can use?

I'm getting bad sectors on the hard drive of my laptop, so I guess I should pay for a new one – but who are able to A210-1CO?

    TA, M

    Hello

Satellite A210 uses SATA hard drives and you need a new HARD drive with SATA interface. You can buy each HARD drive you want, for example 160 or 320 GB. On interface SATA there is no capacity limit.

In addition, most SATA HDDs have already SATA2 interface but its compatible downgrade to SATA1.
I would have preferred a HARD disk at 5400 RPM. Of course, you can buy a HARD drive with 7200 RPM, but they produced more heat and noise. For most of the applications are pretty 5400 RPM.

I have good experiences with Hitachi and Seagate hard drives.

    Good bye

  • Satellite A35-S159 - can I upgrade the CPU, GPU and HARD drive?

    Hey

I have one in my possession and I wanted to make a good game.

I don't know if I'll be able to cause. It hurts thinking may be able to put a processor duo or quad, and I do not know if the CPU will be able to support a really good graphics card, and I also think about changing hard drive.

Any1 know what hard drives are compatible with what I can use which are good for games?

    Hello!

I m wondering that you want to upgrade this old notebook. In my view, that a new laptop would be a better solution.

On the CPU and GPU upgrade I can only say s is not possible and not Toshiba support. The GPU is soldered on the motherboard and t can be exchanged.
I think you should read this: http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB9401AX0001R01.htm

The HARD drive can be upgraded. This isn t a problem.
AFAIK the A35 Satellite is equipped with a s IDE HDD and this means that you buy a drive HARD IDE interface up to 128 GB.

    Good bye
