Satellite A135-S4677 does not

My laptop does not start. When I push the power button, the blue light comes on and the fan starts for a few seconds. After the fan stops nothing happens. No light on except the light output at the bottom as well.

I had a recent episode where the laptop overheated in my bag. But after it has cooled down it worked fine for two days then the symptoms stated above began to show upward. I disassembled everything and no chance of finding a reason any that he has ceased to work.

If anyone else has had experience with this help would be appreciated.

You have disassembled the whole laptop?
Well, I think it was a gesture wring because now you warranty is no longer valid.

In your case, everything would be possible; the problem could be associated with a CPU or the motherboard, it is really not easy to say what could be wrong without touching the machine
In my view a mobile technician should check the single parts

    Hello

    I A135-S7403, I know it's old, but well, I worked until I installed a new version of Bios (1.90 for Satellite A130 (PSAD0U/PSAD3U) on the official website of Toshiba (here: http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=1854878& rpn = PSAD0U & modelFilter = & SelCategorie = 3 & selFamily = 10 73768663).)

    Hello

Something has gone wrong with your update of the bios, this is why the Tower cannot start. Also, can you enter the Bios itself?

Are you can access BIOS by pressing the ESC key?
    Select this check box.

But to be honest, it sounds like a BIOS problem, and in the worst case, you will need to ask the technician to mobile to help.

  • Satellite A135-S4666 does not illuminate

My keyboard, screen, DVD and WIFI lights, but my hard drive and turns on the fan button and case.
I wonder if it's the CPU or something.

I was wondering what I should replace any help/comments/advice?

Try to remove the battery and the AC adapter and wait an hour. Now connect the adapter AC/DC and battery again and try to start the laptop.

If it doesn t work it seems to be a hardware malfunction and a technician of the laptop should check your laptop. Therefore, you must contact an authorized service provider.

    Good luck!

  • Integrated on my Satellite T130 webcam does not work

    Hi all

the built-in on my Satellite T130 webcam does not work.

I use Windows 7 Home Premium and already reinstalled the drivers of webcam 64-bit through this Web site. However, when I click on the webcam application, simply, nothing happens - program doesn't open at all or turn off instantly. Skype is not also acknowledge a cam. In addition, there is no webcam in Device Manager (a not detected USB device however) and no symbol of cam in the Ribbon of Toshiba quicklaunch, which is like the camera is started according to the "manual".

Someone has an idea what is the problem? Looks like a common problem according to Google, but no suggestions other than to reinstall the drivers. Perhaps another application blocking the camera? Firewall settings?

I'd appreciate any help, thank you.

    Best regards Florian

    > a USB not detected if

Maybe it's the webcam from the webcam is connected to the internal USB controller on the motherboard.

It looks like a webcam driver is not installed correctly.
Try the webcam driver released for the satellite t230 or other series of satellites.
    Versions are newer

Also recommend that you check the BIOS settings.
In some cases, the BIOS contains a webcam option where the webcam can be turned on and off.

  • Satellite C650 - Windows does not start correctly

I have a Satellite C650, who does not start, when it lights there are two options, Startup Repair launch which leads to a black screen and mobile arrow, the screen remains like that until you turn it off the button stop (seriously ive left for about 10 hours). The other option is to start windows normally resulting in a blue screen and the laptop restarts itself.

Help me please, make things worse I can't find the box that it came in which contains the guarantee and recovery disc

    Hey Buddy,

You can start your laptop in safe mode? This means that if you press the F8 key before Windows starts and you choose Safe mode can you start Windows?

If this isn't the case I think that it s something wrong with your Windows installation and that's why you need to use the Toshiba Recovery disk to restore to factory settings.

  • Satellite Pro C660 does not illuminate

Satellite Pro C660 does not illuminate. no noise, no light just fill out the dead.

    any suggestions?

    Hello

On this virtual path, it is not possible to provide an accurate diagnosis. All you can do is to unplug the power plug, remove the battery and leave it for a while. Then press the power button and hold it for 15 or 20 seconds.
After doing this connect the power running and try to start again.

What happens when you do this?

  • Satellite M30X Pro does not charge on current alternative

Hello. My satellite M30X pro does not load when it is connected to the adapter sector, I have had the laptop for about a year and a half now

Is this problem likely to be due to the charger doesn't work does not correctly? I don't want to spend £60 for a new charger, namely the charger works fine, and it's actually something else no longer works correctly!

    Thank you

Is it possible to use the laptop with the adapter?
    No AC lights?
If yes then the AC adapter works fine.
In this case, if the battery is not either of the malfunctions of the battery or the thing will not on the motherboard.
    But mostly the battery fails.

The product key on my Satellite Pro P300 does not work.
I entered the key from the sticker on the back of the computer. What I am doing wrong?

    Hello

    Why use this product key?

Firstly the Toshiba recovery image is already enabled and you don t need this key more activations.

Second, it's an OEM key and it will not work with other versions of Vista!

  • Satellite A200-1BJ does not start

    Hello

My Satellite A200-1BJ does not start. After turning on the button it starts only for 1 or 2 seconds (flashing light, work from HDD, fan work, display blank) and then it turns off automatically. Once it happened days before but I didn't have the time to solve it and over the next few days, he has not occurred. Now, I tried to launch it more than 20 times and it still won't start.

I tried only with full battery and also only with the power adapter. I removed the HDD, RAM, keyboard, DVD, speakers, display and a few other connector under the keyboard and it still does not start and it shuts down after 1-2 seconds each time.

In recent months he sometimes exploded due to overheating during work so I cleaned the dust inside.

No problem with the motherboard or power?

    Thanks for help.

Hmmm... on this virtual path, it is not easy to say what the problem is. described behavior is the same as in cases when the BIOS is dead after failed BIOS update installation.

Of course, it's mainboard problem but what exactly, it is not easy to say. For me, this looks like faulty BIOS.

Have you installed any updates or anything that may be responsible for this?

  • Satellite A350 - Touchpad does not work, but an external mouse works

Satellite A350 Touchpad does not work ok (unstable system and left button not loaded).

I tried to make the driver but nothing. No problem drivers (conf system). I have the driver for the touchpad stroped and with an external mouse everything is working properly.

What should I do? Don't you think it's hard or soft the problem. * The touchpad is NEVER worked.*

Thank you, and sorry for my bad English. :-(

    Hello!

The touchpad does appear in Device Manager or you have here yellow exclamation points?

Like Akuma says you can enable or disable the touchpad with FN + F9 key combination.
    Did you check that?

In the worst cases, you must go to an ASP. It seems to be a hardware malfunction, and this must be checked by a technician of the laptop. Here, you can search the nearest ASP:

    Hello!

Normally, you can find the drivers on the Toshiba site:

I checked from Toshiba Web site but I can't find the drivers for Windows XP so I think you need to search on external websites for drivers like Intel, Realtek, etc.
