  My laptop is Lenovo ThinkPad T500 and its main features as follows:

  - 4 GB PC3 - 8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1067 MHz SODIMM Memory (2 DIMM).

  -ATI Mobility Radeon 3650 with 256 MB.

  I really need to upgrade the RAM to work with SharePoint 2010 and Windows Server 2008 R2. and my big question is:

  The T500 has only two slots of RAM, so the upgrade to 8 GB would mean that your two existing 2 GB modules would need to be removed.

  Replacement of the RAM is simple; Remove the four screws for the Palm and the locations of memory will be under the palm rest.

  I think you have these issues because the drivers are missing.

  I see you are using the XP 64 bit OS. Toshiba drivers for win 32 bit and so some features don't work and you can't update the BIOS.

  I was planning on upgrading my A200-1QK (320 GB of HARD drive).

  I was looking for a HARD drive with more space and possibly with more speed, I work with the composition and recording of the audio mixing software and libraries tend to consume a lot of space (I know that an Office would be the best option and I have one, but sometimes I need a more portable solution).   Theoretically, you can buy a HARD drive with 7200 RPM, but it produces more heat and need a little more power as a 5400 RPM model. So it of your choice what you buy. ;)
  You can buy each portable 2.5 HARD drive with SATA or SATA2 connector. If you are looking for a small tray on online shops, you should find enough hard drives of 500 GB at 7200 RPM.

  I have good experiences with Hitachi and Western Digital hard drives.

  I bought a Satellite A200-13o and I'm looking for a keyboard protector to avoid damage caused by spills possible drink etc.
  I refer to these silicone protectors which fit exactly on each specific keyboard and are washable.
  I looked on the internet and there is a certain protectors of this kind for Toshiba laptops, but I couldn't find one for the A200-13o.

  The Canada Toshiba offers protection for the A200 series but model (following the designation of A200) numbers are different in North America and I don't know the correlation of the European models with the those North America.

  There is not much difference between the Canadian and European models.
  I suppose that the serial number and some internal devices. But the proportions of the keyboard must be the same!

  Some units of the Satellite A200-PSAECE series were equipped with the Intel WLan card and some portable computers support the Atheros card.
  If the driver Atheros didn t work, then your wireless network card must be an Intel card and you must use the Intel driver.

• Satellite A200 - password disk HARD 'frozen' in the BIOS

  Satellite A200 computer laptop does not recognize the HARD drive.
  Reconstruction of the disk with Vista or XP - Pro (on another machine) have proved to be unsuccessful.

  Originally, continually blue machine armored and quicky restarted, Machine was infected by the virus and Trojans that I believe have damaged BIOS. The BIOS now appears to have 'frozen' a HARD drive password (unknown) which transfers any HARD drive new - perpetuating the problem.

  Any ideas or suggestions are welcome, thanks.

  I think that he should t be a problem using this HARD drive in your laptop A200.
  The A200 has been equipped with SATA HDD too.

  But as far as I know it's a SATA (SATA/150) HARD drive. You HDD seems to be a SATA II HDD (SATA/300), but the controller is compatible to the bottom and must be able to handle this HARD drive.
