  What about drivers on the Toshiba site? They are more suitable? I don't really know.

  Of origin ATI/nVidia drivers are not designed for Toshiba laptops.
  ATI drivers can be used on desktop computers.
  The drivers of Toshiba graphics card supports thermal protection which is necessary to avoid the increase in temperature.
  Laptops, graphics cards do not have huge as cooling office modules graphics cards and therefore the GPU driver control the performance of the graphics card.

  What you could do is to check the site driver for 3rd party such as;
  www.OmegaDrivers.net.

  But the non-Toshiba drivers may be used only at your own risk!

  You must select Notebook > Satellite > Satellite A series > Satellite A200 (PSAE3)
  Check this box!

  More as you can see, s a model of Satellite and Satellite Pro not.

  Normally you can find new drivers to display on the Toshiba site like you said, but I think that in this case, you can't do anything.

  I checked the site Web of ATI/AMD, and I can find more recent drivers for the Mobility Radeon X 1400.
  But it s on your own risk to use these drivers because they don t have a protection against overheating. The graphics card may be damaged.

  Either way, why you want to update the driver? You have some problems with the laptop (in games)?
  Sometimes it s useful to search for a patch or an update for the game and the OS.

  I checked the European driver of Toshiba download page, and it seems that your model is only taken in charge of Vista and not XP. :(

  In my view, should look on external Web sites drivers, or somewhere else.
  Or if you try the Mobility Modder to change the original ATI drivers (Google is your friend).
  But be very careful with this! These drivers don't have protection against overheating and the graphics card may be damaged.
