So I don't know what to update! I already tried to re install the drivers, but it's didtn can't change anything.
To help you, I saved a nero error log. I hope it could be useful to someone who could help me!

    Hello

The error log doesn't provide very useful information.
According to this error log, the simulation was running OK, but the burning process has not been started.
In such cases, it is very difficult to say why it happens. Maybe the drive is damage and cannot calibrate the lens correctly or using media is not compatible.
Burning the process depands on the fields and the data that prefer to burn.
Data, CD, DVDs are encrypted and it s is not possible to burn and copy it.
In other cases, you can also try to burn media with low speed and not with 24 x.

But to sentence case you the reader has a malfunction and you need to replace ;(

  • Can not burn a DVD in Windows Exporer...

    Another "update" it killed story...

    1. updated the critical updates massive usual as requested.

2 put in DVDs to record recently published holiday walk.

    3. burn with Windows Explorer (AS I DID FOR a YEAR AND a HALF).

    3. «.. ncountered a mistake... isk may be unusable. «

    4 put in another DVD.

    5. «Please put a blank DVD into the DVD burner...» »

    WHAT?

6 put in another DVD blank, another brand then last time.

    7. «.. ncountered one problem... isk can be unusable... «

8 swear for an extended period.

    9. wonder if the DVDs have a life span.

    10. take the old machine running Windows 2000 Professional and of the machine DVD burner.

11 successful burn images (having been skillful and even transferred to USB).

    12. repeat the operation with "(may be) DVD" unusable Windows 7 computer is not functioning. "

    13. the operation is a success!

    WHAT?

Can I be assuming too much, but:

    (a) it is a new installation (re-installed Windows 7 Pro after the failure of HD two weeks ago).

    (b) NO hardware changes.

    (c) until TWO days ago, I was able, with Windows Explorer, burn DVDs from the same stack failures of today.

Just as I did for a year or more.

    Last update was yesterday.

    Problem is presented today.

    It's really irritating.

Uninstall the updates you have installed yesterday, now see if you can burn a DVD. If this isn't the case, execution of the command SFC listed below.

Run the SFC/scannow command. This will check and repair if necessary all of the critical Windows system files.

Click on start / all programs/accessories then
Right-click on the command prompt option and select "Run as Administrator".
(or "Safe Mode" open a command prompt)

  • Satellite A200 - 19L can not boot from the CD

    Hi guys,.

I'm glad I found this forum site, I pretty well hope to find a solution here.

Well, this problem is not very complicated, in fact my DVD player (model TS-L632) is not read more, so much so I decided to change with a new one, but it is not the same model as the original drive.
It is the case of the generic DVD player really.

Now when I inserted my recovery disk or any bootable disk is not booting the CD, and when I press F12 for I can't find any CD/DVD drive, but running in Windows I can't find the DVD player and it can read any CD priority boot normally.

Just having the problem while booting from CD.
I thought that maybe there is no security for this model that locked some hardware.
So please guys want to help me how to understand it,

any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    > When I press F12 for boot priority I can't find any CD/DVD drive, but running in Windows I can find the DVD player and it can normally read any CD.

The whole story seems really strange to me
If you access the BIOS, you can see the details of the CD/DVD drive? The drive is recognized properly?

If not then I guess that the STRANGE inserted is not totally compatible due to different master/slave/c-salt settings.

    > but running in Windows I can find the DVD player and it can normally read any CD
It s also strange to me so that the CD/DVD drive appears in Device Manager even if the CD/DVD drive Startup menu option does not appear.

    But first check the BIOS

  • Satellite A200-236 - can not get optimal resolution of the system

    Hello readers,

I just installed the new ati drivers on my laptop and I can't get the optimal resolution of the system. I installed the old toshiba drivers, but I still have problems with the resolution. Anyone know how I can get the optimal resolution of the system to 1200 x 800?

    Mike Brust

On what resolution the laptop switches mode?

Before installing the new drivers, you must remove the old driver, restart your computer and install the new drivers.

Also, make sure that you have installed all Service Packs and patches for your operating system.

In addition, you must use the graphics drivers from Toshiba. Other graphics drivers don t have a protection against overheating and in the worst case, the graphics card can overheat and be damaged.
With the Toshiba drivers, you are always on the safe side.

Can you please explain what you mean it doesn t work? You get an error message or what is exactly happening?

Have you tried different types of DVD blank? I always use DVD-R and not DVD + are so you should try it with a DVD-R. You should buy the disc Verbatim or TDK. I have only good experience with these manufacturers.

Have you tried with Nero? I always use this burning program and you must ensure that you use the latest version you can find on the site of the factory.

I have to smile to read this message
    Mainly, this statement is funny;
    > The support guys where we bought the computer told us "the computer is not compatible with Vista, we can't do something."

I think that this laptop has been delivered with the Vista operating system. So why the guy said that the laptop is not compatible with Vista?  :| …. that's nonsense.

First the A200-1SV belongs to the PSAE6E series and it s fully Vista capable.
Secondly, like you say the external screen displays home Toshiba screen and so I guess that's just a matter of adjustment.
What you can do is to use the FN + F5 key combination to switch between display devices.

If it doesn't help to try to put the laptop back to the factory settings using the Toshiba Recovery CD!
In this case, the new OS, driver and tools will be installed and then everything should work fine.

    Good bye
