Satellite A200 - Flashcards do not work
Greetings
I have a Satellite A200 - 1 M 5 PSAE0E runing on vista edition Windows Home premium 32-bit. Accedently, I deleted the bluetooth driver and installed again but it has disappeared from the flashcards (Fn + F8 toggels the wifi only).
I tried to re - install the driver bluetooth (Bluetooth stack) and Bluetooth monitor but nothing has worked. I was told my Microsoft join forces to uninstall the flashcards and VAP and re - install again and I did, but unfrtunately disappered flashcards, but at the same time the functions are working (Fn + F2 change the power plan Fn + F6 dims the backlight of the screen) but the flashcards doesn't apears. I have re-installed utilities flashcards, battery bluetooth monitor, bluetooth extended for windows Mobility Center tiles and even the value of the package but nothing works yet.
I was wondering what I should do now?
Is it possible to turn on/0ff the flashcards?
> Is it possible to turn on/0ff the flashcards?
Yes. Try it.
Go to START > all programs > Toshiba > utilities > restart Flash cards.

Re: Satellite A200-1AE does not work
Hello!
I have Toshiba Satellite A200-1AE computer that does not work.
I use (d) for educational purposes and now the problem is that it will display no signs of life. the blue led light on the front of it does not illuminate when I connect it to the AC/DC adapter.
I tested the AC/DC adapter with a voltmeter (it came with the computer in the box of the card when I bought the computer) and it works well.
Yes, the battery could be dead also, but it should work just fine without it and is not.
What to do about this problem?
He has a dead motherboard? No, I can't be brave enough to think about.
Help, please.
Thanks in advance for your reply,
Goran
Hi Goran
Everything is possible... also a dead motherboard.
But to make sure exactly what s laptop computer checking is necessary. So, you will need to contact the ASP in your country for the control of the laptop.
Good luck

Webcam on the Satellite A200-175 does not work - error code 10
Hi all
I bought a Satellite A200-175 yesterday and I am trying to use the webcam, but it does not work. I searched the forum for possible solutions, but so far I have not found anything that solves my situation.
The laptop came with a preinstalled Vista OS, but the software of the webcam was not preinstalled. So I downloaded the latest Toshiba download page doftware and installed.
Subsequently, it still does not work and so I changed drivers for generic Microsoft (based on the advice of the forum).I tried to reinstall drivers (several times), but that did not help. Device Manager keeps giving me the error code 10 (device cannot be started).
I'm a bit of idea, so any help would be appreciated!
Hello Franca
It's very strange because I installed the recovery image on notebooks P200 and U300 (both with the webcam) and I didn't notice any problem. After the first boot the cam will be recognized as new hardware and installed correctly.
Have you installed some Messenger like Yahoo or MSN and try to use it with one of them?

The Satellite A200 display does not work
Hello
I own a Satellite A200, since yesterday my screen did not work. I hear vista start in the background but theres nothing on the screen when the system is off. Please help me...
Hello
Go you through the devices different views?
Using the FN + F5, you can switch to the external monitor or maybe TV you used this key combination accidentally? It would be also advisable to connect another external monitor to the laptop to check if anything should be displayed on the monitor
If you're not going to see anything on the second monitor, then a default display could be possible.
The A200 is not very old series of laptop I think the warranty to be valid. Therefore, you can contact the ASP in your country for and verification of the laptop.
Good luck and greetings mate

Satellite A200 (PSAFCA) does not work after BIOS update triying
Hello
I was hoping if someone could help me pls.
I have a Toshiba Satellite A200 (PSAFCA).
Recently, I tried the bios update and while I flashed the bios I forgot to plug the laptop into the current and the battery was flat at half way through the flashing. Thus the laptop now won't post when I turn on and all I get is a white screen.
I was wondering if someone could pls advise me on how I can get the old bios back or even a method of flashing it if I put the bios back in so I can at least get a message to display on the screen.Any help that you provide would be greatly appreciated as I am at a loss.
Thanking you in advance

> while I flashed the bios I forgot to plug the laptop into the current and the battery flat at half way through the flashing.
Well buddy, the cell must always be connected to the mains during the execution of an update of the BIOS! This is very important!
Now it looks like the update of BIOS didn't t run and finish correctly and the ROM module seems to be flashed incorrectly.Unfortunately, there is no other solution to communicate with ASP guys and ask for help! They should be able to help you.
But note; in the worst cases, the ROM module is unfortunate and the motherboard needs to be replaced.
Good luck

Satellite A200 - Touchpad does not work
I have a Satellite A200, I use a wireless USB mouse all the time. My touchpad to work even when I had plugged USB but now it has stopped working altogether. I don't find the location to see if it has been disabled somehow. Can someone help me?
My A200 is also turn itself off at any time while I use it. I read a few steps at the beginning that said it may overheat. I have my camera plugged in all the time and always have the battery as well. I leave also my phone on most of the time as well. I have notieced that the wind box side can become quite hot as is the area of the touch pad. Overheating would cause these two questions? Need some advice please as soon as I'm ready to throw Toshy away.
Hey mate,
First the touchpad can turn on or off using the FN + F9 key combination. Check this box!
I also using an external mouse all the time but this key combination only works for in-house so it s worth a try! ;)With regard to the problem of deactivation if could be a problem of overheating of course. The laptop must be cleaned periodically, and I do every 3 months for example because I use my laptop every day. I m always asked how much dust comes out if I clean it with a jet of compressed air. I followed the instructions in this document:

Satellite A200 recovery does not work properly
Hello.
After making a few changes in the partition settings (when installing Ubuntu) Vista does not load (after the loading screen appears a black screen and nothing happens). I changed the Vista partition only by expanding its size.
I try to reinstall Vista and set parameters of origin with product recovery cd, but with the same result - after screen to communicate on loading the filesystem appears black screen and no action is performed. I changed the boot on a dvd/cd device.I guess that's a problem with the parameters of partition, but don't know how to solve. Now, I have an original score with Vista (extended) and the other in the rough. How should I change it to properly run product recovery?
I'll be grateful for any help.@ Salim Al-Ghaithi
This error message is not known to me, but it seems that the application that has been installed on the recovery CD can not work properly.
It's not easy to say why it happens maybe dysfunctions of restore CD or you partition the HARD disk is not going.
I recommend you begin with formatting the entire HARD drive. You must also remove all partitions on HARD drive and then try to use the recovery CD and start the installation. -
Built-in webcam for Satellite A200 (PSAF6A) does not work properly
Hello world
The webcam works fine once the system starts. But sometimes after the laptop is idle for a while or return to standby mode, the webcam does not work and a "Graphics rendering failed" error message appears when I try to turn on the webcam of the built-in Camera Assistant Software.
And I don't think that happens only happens on this machine: I got a replacement of the same model due to an error which is not related to the webcam, and again the same problem happened on this machine.I tried different drivers on the site of Toshiba (AUS) and the driver of webcam usb by default by Microsoft, but the same result... I also read through the forum of Toshiba. Most related threads did not mention the "Graphics rendering failed" error message. I think that this problem is caused by a defective software by Microsoft or Toshiba; and the reason being that the webcam worked after the system starts and with the premise of no change in material or displacement of the laptop, it stops working after a short inactivity or return to sleep.
PS: I also reinstalled windows many times continue the recovery DVDs...
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
TonyIn my view, this problem could be related to the graphics card driver.
I saw this error message (failure of the graphics rendering) while playing a few games. So in my opinion, this isn't just a question of webcam.
Try to update the graphics driver. I put t know exactly what graphics card you have, but try this sites:

Satellite A200 - touchpad does not work properly
Recently bought a computer laptop a200 toshbiba of second hand and the touch pad for the frist week or two worked very well.
And then began to get hard to use, as lethargic, now it wont even move at all.I reformatted computer and who did not.
So I think the touchpad itself may have disappeared?Any suggestions and if yes, how would a new touchpad?
see you soon
mastHello
You mean that the touchpad no longer works?
Have you used the Toshiba Recovery disk to recover the device? You use the latest version of the BIOS?
Please check this and if the latest BIOS if available, please update thisWell, it could also be a hardware problem
And in this case, the touch pad needs to be replacedIt is delicate and must be done by an ASP (partner) in your country
PS: the touchpad can be ordered as a local ASP.

Satellite A200-1BJ does not start
Hello
My Satellite A200-1BJ does not start. After turning on the button it starts only for 1 or 2 seconds (flashing light, work from HDD, fan work, display blank) and then it turns off automatically. Once it happened days before but I didn't have the time to solve it and over the next few days, he has not occurred. Now, I tried to launch it more than 20 times and it still won't start.
I tried only with full battery and also only with the power adapter. I removed the HDD, RAM, keyboard, DVD, speakers, display and a few other connector under the keyboard and it still does not start and it shuts down after 1-2 seconds each time.
In recent months he sometimes exploded due to overheating during work so I cleaned the dust inside.
No problem with the motherboard or power?
Thanks for help.
Hmmm... on this virtual path, it is not easy to say what the problem is. described behavior is the same as in cases when the BIOS is dead after failed BIOS update installation.
Of course, it's mainboard problem but what exactly, it is not easy to say. For me, this looks like faulty BIOS.
Have you installed any updates or anything that may be responsible for this?

Satellite A200 sometimes doesn't work
Hello
I have problems with my new Satellite A200 who decides not to turn on sometimes.
The first night, I used the laptop with only the connected battery. Once she has emptied, I turned to notebook and connected my power supply to charge up. However, the LED indicates that the battery did not illuminate. I unplugged the power supply and has pulled out the battery, then reinserted it. After a few hours, it started to load.
A few nights later I packed my laptop and it took to College. When I tried to turn it on (when it is connected only to the battery), it didn't turn. I took the battery and reinserted it (as others have suggested on this forum), but still it does not turn. I completely took the battery and plugged into the power supply but the LED that indicates the power is connected has been still turn upward and the laptop still did not turn. I unplugged and re-plugged in, and then he lit. This happened once more, and I repeated the steps I took, but the laptop would not turn up until several hours later.
However, the laptop lights up fine now with and without the battery, but I fear it may happen again. Does anyone know what the problem is with him, and whether or not I should go back to this laptop?
Thank you
Hello
The strange behavior of laptop is rare and should not appear if the laptop would work properly
But it's not easy to say what could be the problem for me it sounds a bit like a malfunction of the battery or as something wrong with the electronic power supply on the motherboardHowever, the laptop seems to be very new and the guarantee must be valid. So it s any evil s.
Everything should be covered by the warranty.I recommend you contact the ASP in your country for a control
Maybe it's their pettiness only s but I would not riskconcerning

Integrated on my Satellite T130 webcam does not work
Hi all
the built-in on my Satellite T130 webcam does not work.
I use Windows 7 Home Premium and already reinstalled the drivers of webcam 64-bit through this Web site. However, when I click on the webcam application, simply, nothing happens - program doesn't open at all or turn off instantly. Skype is not also acknowledge a cam. In addition, there is no webcam in Device Manager (a not detected USB device however) and no symbol of cam in the Ribbon of Toshiba quicklaunch, which is like the camera is started according to the "manual".
Someone has an idea what is the problem? Looks like a common problem according to Google, but no suggestions other than to reinstall the drivers. Perhaps another application blocking the camera? Firewall settings?
I'd appreciate any help, thank you.
Best regards Florian
> a USB not detected if
Maybe it's the webcam from the webcam is connected to the internal USB controller on the motherboard.
It looks like a webcam driver is not installed correctly.
Try the webcam driver released for the satellite t230 or other series of satellites.
Versions are newerAlso recommend that you check the BIOS settings.
In some cases, the BIOS contains a webcam option where the webcam can be turned on and off. -
The product key on my Satellite Pro P300 does not work
The product key on my Satellite Pro P300 does not work.
I entered the key from the sticker on the back of the computer. What I am doing wrong?Hello
Why use this product key?
Firstly the Toshiba recovery image is already enabled and you don t need this key more activations.
Second, it's an OEM key and it will not work with other versions of Vista!

Satellite A350 - Touchpad does not work, but an external mouse works
Satellite A350 Touchpad does not work ok (unstable system and left button not loaded).
I tried to make the driver but nothing. No problem drivers (conf system). I have the driver for the touchpad stroped and with an external mouse everything is working properly.
What should I do? Don't you think it's hard or soft the problem. * The touchpad is NEVER worked.*
Thank you, and sorry for my bad English. :-(
Hello!
The touchpad does appear in Device Manager or you have here yellow exclamation points?
Like Akuma says you can enable or disable the touchpad with FN + F9 key combination.
Did you check that?In the worst cases, you must go to an ASP. It seems to be a hardware malfunction, and this must be checked by a technician of the laptop. Here, you can search the nearest ASP:
