Satellite A200 - restarts for no apparent reason

My A200 has been turning to the frequently for 3-4 weeks. I recently had to repair (5 days ago).

It is overheating, the dough has been changed, I now have a real hold of Toshiba, because we thought it was the problem.
Sometimes she wants to use the startup recovery than the computer fails to restart, and then restore to an earlier date when it did not work properly.
This happens on a daily basis. Sometimes it just restarts.

Cleared service center drive hard but could not reload vista that was on the laptop.
I have windows 7, but the computer continues to restart without warning.

My service center can not find a solution to this problem, any ideas?

> I have windows 7, but the computer continues to restart without warning.
You mean the power of the laptop automatically places even if you turned off the laptop properly?

This occurs if the laptop is connected to the local network?
If so, try disabling Wake Up options in the BIOS.

You can access the BIOS by pressing F2.
Disable options, save the changes and restart the device and run tests

    Hello

Believe me, there is always a reason why this happens. From your description, I assume that your unit is overheating. If the temperature is too high the unit simply stops.

You need to clean the device. After that cleaning the unit should work properly again.

Could you try disabling graphics hardware acceleration to Firefox? Due to the recent driver updates, many users know strange stability and performance problems related to this function.

You need to restart Firefox for it to take effect, so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

Orange Firefox button or classic menu Tools > Options > advanced

In the mini ' General' tab, uncheck the box for "use hardware acceleration when available.

It is almost always a hardware problem, not a a Windows. Both
the most likely causes are overheating and power problems.

    Salvation of the elbow,

    Try this procedure:

Disconnect the PC and open it. Clean all the dust. Carefully, remove and replace all the cables towards the mother board one at a time. Do the same for memory DIMM and the video and the sound of cards if you have a.  You can buy a can of compressed air to blow the dust out of the heatsink from the CPU.  Plug your PC back in and give it a go.

If your PC is not current running bios level 5.22 try then upgrade to the latest bios level.  If you are already running 5.22 then try clear the CMOS.

You can try removing the heat sink aluminum end shown in the picture of the motherboard (lower right corner), remove the old thermal paste with little of isopropyl alcohol and then apply a thermal paste Artic Silver 5 and reattach the heat sink.

How can I fix the "drag and drop" feature in Windows 7?  It used to work, but now does not work, for no apparent reason!

What happens when you try?  Make sure you drag the icon image and not the text of the name.

If it still doesn't work there are some registry changes that can try to alleviate the problem.  But because the changes to the registry are tedious and dangerous, I recommend to leave the system to repair it for you.  Here's how:
    1. Type of restore in the search box of the start menu to find and open to restore system files and settings from a restore point.
    2. Click Next, choose a date before the problem started, then click Next once more.
    • This process only takes around 2 minutes and only restores your system files/settings: it will not affect any of your files, documents, photos, emails, or anything else.
If the system restore does not resolve the problem try this to replace missing or corrupted system files.  Here's how:
    1. Type cmd into the start menu search box, and then press Ctrl-Shift-Enter to launch as administrator.
    2. At the command prompt to start the File System Check, type sfc/scannow .

Looks like you have a card reader malfunctioning.

You can connect the camera to the computer via the USB cable provided with the camera to see if the pictures can be read like that?

  • Satellite Pro A210-1AZ - I lose the WIFI connection for no apparent reason

I am connected to a wireless network with my A210-1AZ. There are 4 wireless networks in my area, belonging to other people on my street. I connect to my network, and everything seems to work fine...

Up to an hour, I just lost the connection without apparent reason. I click on the ' Connect or disconnect ", and he cannot find + all + 4 wireless networks. I press refresh - nothing. I go to Device Manager, disable then re-enable the best to the wireless network device. Can I do "connect or disconnect", and it shows all 4 networks back. If I connect... for another hour... then I have to do it again.

It seems worse when I use the network a lot, that is to say. Download large files, sometimes after 10 minutes. If it is fairly inactive, it lasts not more. But it always happens in an hour or two.

    It becomes really annoying!

Please do BIOS update to the latest version. The problem should be solved.
By the way: card WLAN that is listed in the Device Manager? Intel or Atheros?

  • Satellite A200 - screen turns off without reason

I have a Satellite A200-E530D on Windows Vista Home Premium. For a month, I had something strange happening on my computer, shortly after the start, the screen turns off. without good reason! the only option I have is hard to system boot and everythings... Although a few times after the restart he still went.

I tried to upgrade to the last poster of drivers (I have an Nvidia Geforce Graphics card 7300 Go with 128 MB of VRAM)

Another weird thing, Vista SP1 does not install on my machine. tried to uninstall my Anti virus, but that did not help either one.

Can anyone shed light on my dark screen?

  • Satellite A200 restarts continuously after Windows update

    Hey all,.

The model Satellite A200 - 1 GB (PSAE6E) worked perfectly for two years now (with Vista 32-bit).
Since running windows update yesterday and restart, the laptop summer stuck in a reboot loop, restart immediately after the 'POST' (the Toshiba logo, etc) screen with a flash of blue screen.
Holding F8 to read the message, it says INACCESSIBLE_BOOT_DEVICE (0x000007B)...
Try to restore to a point before the blackout failed for an unknown reason (gave an error).
Search in Google gave a possible cause - maybe the hard disk driver was changed by an incompatible type. There were some suggestions to turn off the AHCI in the bios, but it doesn't have this option.
The bios was not updated since purchase (this is version 1.4), but I can't update because it seems that the only update provided by Toshiba requires windows.

Someone has any idea how to fix the computer without having to reinstall windows? No matter what?

    Thanks in advance,
    Ofir

    Hello

I doubt that it could be a hardware error (my personal opinion) but nothing is impossible, that you know
The fact is that a BSOD can be caused by hardware error, but also a serious software problem
In my opinion, something went wrong during the update

If you are not able to boot the operating system even by using a safe mode then a new install of the OS would be the last chance to get this sort problem

I think you should try a new installation to see if this could be a hardware problem because there is a small remnant of risk that this could be a hardware problem

  • Satellite A200 - restart Constant preventing re-installation of operating system

OK so I was using my laptop (Satellite A200) and it restarted at random, so it kept rebooting at startup upward.
So I decided to use a recovery disc.
He won't through recovery disks without rebooting, so I don't even have a full operating system.
If I open it in the BIOS, it does not restart, it will remain just work inside.

What is the problem, software, hardware, and how much will it cost to get fixed because I don't think that there is something left I can do more.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Hello

This whole story seems somewhat strange. I really don't understand what is wrong with that, but please try to follow:
-Turn on your laptop and press F12 repeatedly to enter the boot options
-Where the list of boot devices is provided recovery media in the optical disc drive
-In the list choose the CD/DVD drive and press ENTER
    -Follow the on-screen menu

    Can you do this?
    It works well?
    There is a new problem?

  • My Flash movie stops for no apparent reason.

With the help of Flash Professional CS5. Publication of Flash Player 9 and ActionScript 3. I also tried to publish for Flash Player 8 and 10.  My film is made up of several short scenes and has minimal animation. It lasts for about 12 minutes and once published and he played stops in a scene, 2 minutes to the end, without apparent reason. There is no script in the entire film except a stop(); at the end. There are scenes with a lot more animation than it stops at. It stops there when I play the swf file on my local computer so when I publish online, it is not a problem of buffering. It happens on two different computers.  I have Flash Player 10 installed.  I deleted all of the scenes except the audo on the stage stop, and it freezes again.  I deleted the audio and the rest and it freezes again.  I'm on the trial of Flash; no limits the length of the movies?

    http://www.republiccapitalgroup.com/DEFA...

The animation has more than 16,000 pictures in? If so, it is likely to be the cause of the gel. (And if it is 2 minutes, then I ask you do animation at 120 fps?) It's a little too high...)

To resolve this problem, you may break your film in parts? You can, for example, split into 10 parts each with a minute and load the next film at the end of each part.

To load movies with AS3, see:
