Satellite A205 - S4629 BIOS Update Fail - file has different part number of BIOS

I used the download from Toshiba support page to identify my notebook A205-S4629 Satellite of model and downloaded the following BIOS update utility sa200f0v520.exe.

After construction the IOS Installer disk and running the Phoenix Phlash16 utility I get the following message "file a different part number of BIOS.

The utility uses the image file after MW10M520.ROM.

Any contribution is appreciated,

Thank you

Hello

As far as I know the BIOS package downloaded from the Toshiba WE page driver contains the ZIP file self-extracting WinRAR 32-bit which includes both based on Windows and disk according to the BIOS update installation options.

Have you tried to update the BIOS using the BIOS Win-based?

What operating system do you use?

  • Satellite P300-1 has 8 - part number for the AC adapter / CC

    Hello.

Can anyone tell me the part number of the AC adapter I need to buy for my Satellite P300-1 c 8?
    Model No.: PSPCOE-01H008EN 15550 / 1024/1024/160 G 54/17W + BT/D52/L/M/L

The toshiba site list or recognize the model, CarPhone Warehouse does not provide me with detailed documents and the original adapter was stolen. If not, can anyone provide an email address for toshiba (I am unable to call during their office hours).

Or failing that, some general tips on an adapter compatible Please, I bought an adapter for the correct base - 19V, 3 specification. 95 a, (75W), Connector (PA3715E-1ACE) 2.5/5.5mm however, it does not work. The toshiba site lists another card of the same specs (PA3468E-1AC3) but I am reluctant to risk without being sure that it is just to buy it. I'd be happy to buy a universal adapter but only a high quality which will not be an electrical danger.

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hey Buddy,

You can search for options and accessories here:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/generic/PC-options-Accessories-EU/

Why you need an email at Toshiba?
If you have questions about spare parts, you must contact a Toshiba instead authorized service provider.

In general, I would recommend the original adapter because it of tested and designed for your laptop. With other words, it s a product of high quality.

  • Error code the Wmplayer.exe file has a Version number of 11.0.5721.5262 where was 11.0.5721.5145

No sound in Windows.  Message from the file Wmplayer.exe has a Version number of 11.0.5721.5262 where 11.0.5721.5145 was expected.  Windows Media Player is not installed correctly and must be reinstalled.  This happened for no apparent reason.  Tried to install WMPlayer 11 Web site created for and still get the same message.   Help please?

    Hi AnnieT2053,

Although the error message prompts you to reinstall the Windows Media Player, reinstalling does not necessarily fix the problem. Generally, the error message appears again when you try to launch Windows Media player after reinstallation.

Method 1: To resolve the problem, perform the following steps:

    a. go to Start , then click run.

    b. type following command in the Open box and then press enter:

    c:\windows\inf\unregmp2.exe /UpdateWMP

The steps above resolve the confusion that your computer has been with the version numbers of Windows Media Player, and then corrects the error.

Method 2: Try the SFC (System File Checker) scan on the computer.

To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:

    a. click Startand type cmd in the box start the search.

    b. right click on cmd in the list programs, and then click run as administrator.

    c. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue

    d. at the command prompts, the following line and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

The error you received since the start of the test, is that the HARD drive has failed.

Here is a link to a phone number to call HP and see what repair options, they may have for you.

Also, here is a link to your service manual that has the part number for your disk and show you how to install a new HARD drive.

  • BIOS update failed on Satellite P200 - 13 M

    Hello world

    I have a Satellite P200, (PSPB6E-03G01XFR).
Yesterday, after attempting to update my BIOS version with the windows application, my phone was cut.

I downloaded the new version of the bios of Toshiba-Europe Web site (v2.30) and I tried to use the Crisis_Recovery_Disk but no result. :(
    Can someone help me please?

Unfortunately, in your case only the ASP can help you.

Does your BIOS update fails and only the ASP can update the ROM module damaged by using a special version of the BIOS

So, don t waste time and ask the ASP in your country to help.

    Best regards dude

  • Satellite A200-1BQ - BIOS update failed

    Hello everyone

I update the BIOS of my laptop and something went wrong: () now my laptop does not turn on the screen.

I went to see on the web about Cree Bios recover. I created my floppy drive and I am using a USB drive connected to the USB port on the right below.

When I click FN + B laptop computer goes into mode of recovery and is 40 seconds for the disc I wait 10 minutes turn off the laptop and nothing (still dead: ())
I downloaded the bios.wph tohsiba site for this laptop.

The laptop is a: Satellite A200-1BQ. Part number: PSAECE-01V011PT

Please help me... the phone reads the disk but then does nothing... must be something failed... have used the phlash.ini but do not...
    Thank you very much

    Hi fear_angel,

Well, I think in this case you can do anything and I would not try this BIOS recovery program. There is no formal way and you could destroy most or the entire module ROM.

You must contact an authorized assistance service provider. Technicians can try to reflash the ROM module I'm sure they will help you as much as possible.

    Good luck! :)
