When the command prompt appears, check your disk file system error hard by typing "chkdsk c: /f" (do not type the quotation marks) if "c:" is a drive letter on your Windows 7. Restart your computer, and it checks file system of the disk for errors. When the analysis was finished and reboot, re-enter the Advanced Boot Options, choose "Safe Mode" again. And then open command prompt with administrator, and then type this command "sfc/scannow" (do not type the quotation marks). SFC (System File Checker) can check your file system were healthy or not.   I firstly the LCD cable or secondary LED could be damaged, but if you don't see anything on an external monitor I tend to think it's a motherboard problem.

  Last thing you could try putting running a Live Distro Linux from a CD/DVD or USB drive, using Ubuntu or Linux Mint, for example.

I got a macbook earlier where this problem was solved by installing a new hard drive. so I ordered a new 160 GB IDE 2.5 "5400 RPM and 1 GB Corsair Valueselect DDR1 333 MHz hoping that this will help me get the mini running and preforming a little better with 512 MB of Ram.

You must obtain a copy of the original installation disc which was 10.3 or 10.4 or disk to upgrade to 10.4 or 10.5 full retail. Coverall A1103 all three 2005 models of the Mac Mini G4.

  You cannot use a grey disc unless it was delivered with your specific Mac.  Native gray disc with Macs and can not e used on the other model of disc.

  You can probably call Apple and order a copy of the original disks

• Satellite T130 - stuck on the loading screen - new hard drive required

  After a message on the screen saying back up your hard drive, it will fail quickly and pressing F1 it seems so stuck on the loading screen. I'm not too good with computers.   The first question is: did you create recovery media (USB key)?
  If do not do this if for a long time your HARD drive works OK. original recovery image is saved on the HARD drive, but you must have it USB backup that you can use to install if the disk needs to be replaced.
