  It has 2 x 1 GB DDR2-PC5300 (667 Mhz) memory.

  Can I replace it with 2 x 2 GB PC6400 (800 Mhz)?

  I checked the specifications of Satellite A210-18 and it supports up to 4 GB of memory. This means that you can replace with 2x2gb modules.

  But according to the specifications it supports only DDR PC5300 speed up to. PC6400 will work, but they only work with PC5300 speed. All that, but they work!

  Unfortunately, I couldn't find win Xp drivers on the Toshiba driver page. Perhaps, you need to install Win 7 32 bit. The drivers are available, it is really good Os, however, I didn't like it for the 1st time. :) If you don't want to install it, you should try Win Xp drivers for other models. You can also do a search in Google or by using the program to search for drivers

  I Don t think that toshiba will release 64-bit drivers for their machines because they didn t release a machine with a 64-bit windows.

  But if you know what sound card is installed (for example a realtek) then go to the website of the manufacturer of the audiodevice and try it, you may have little chance.

  As far as I know a few notebooks with S/PDIF out port can be connected to 5.1 devices.

  I had the same situation with my Satellite A300.
  Just use the touchpad Vista. It worked perfectly for me. I just installed Vista Synaptics touchpad driver.
