Satellite A210-199 does not start successfully after the BIOS update

Hello

I've got Sat A210-199.
Yesterday I updated the BIOS, and after that problems occurred:

While restarting my computer does not start. When I enter the BIOS after a while, it shuts down.
I guess all this because the temperature of the CPU:

When I do nothing it is 77 C. I don't think it's normal: (.)
Computer is very recent, so it's probably not dust inside. And it's so hot from the start, but after the new BIOS, something bad happens.

Why this temp is so high?
There is no any process background or something.
Is this normal?
And what about this new BIOS?

To be honest, something like this should not happen. I really don't understand why this is happening. I have updated the BIOS on friends A200 and mine P200 and everything works fine. Here on this forum we can only speculate on this issue, but what you need exactly's professional opinion.

This probably not help but install recovery image and check with the factory settings. Make sure you also on the lower side cooling fan is not blocked and the laptop can be cooled properly. If the problem persists, you should contact the nearest authorized maintainer and clarify this issue.

Sorry, but I don't really know what you can do in this situation. I don't see any other way to solve this problem.

Good luck!

    Hello

I recently got my hands on a toshiba Satellite M30-107 laptop second hand and decided to freshen it.
I used the toshiba recovery disk, but after that the laptop is no longer support windows.

When turned on it shows booting Toshiba disc for about a second then goes to a screen blank and freezes.
When turned on, once again, a screen will appear an error by stopping and offer the opportunity to start in SafeMode etc but choose one of the options causes the machine to freeze.

    Hello

Sounds a little like the laptop does not start because of the problem of Windows software
You did not recover the M30 with the original Toshiba that was provided with this device M30 recovery CD?

I may be wrong, but to me it looks like a recovery CD incorrect has been used and an image with drivers not compatible m has been installed

You can try to install the OS of Microsoft Win XP original CD and could check if it would be possible to get the notebook ruin using own BONE.

In this case we (you and me ;)) might know if this problem could be related to hardware or software.

Go to your retail store, they should have the disk recovery for you or you need to go to your manufacturer directly because the manufacturer is best qualified to support the software that the manufacturer has installed on the hardware, provide your serial number and order the CD on their part. I bet they arrange an expedition to the France and tax treatment for it, but should not be too much.

Note: The manufacturer was required to provide a way to reinstall Windows. If it is not a set of disks with the computer, there will be a hidden restore partition (do not be confused with the system restore), you would use to return the computer to the State of the OOBE (Out of Box Experience).

  • Help! VM does not start successfully after the conversion of Server VMware ESXi 4.1

Hi, I have install my first server ESXi, everything seems OK and stable. Had a few PtoV machines, but to start I thought I propose our only current VM from VMWare server on our ESXi server.

The VMware host is Win2003/32 running VMware server 1.0.6 and the prompt is also Win2003/32. I shut down the VM, installed the stand-alone converter on the VMware host and let it do it's thing. Successfully completed and took 20 minutes.

When I try to start the virtual machine of the ESXi server, it looks OK, but hangs on "Application Startup Scripts", possibly the login screen appears, but then I get messages from "Remote RPC server not available" when you try to open an RDP session. A local login hangs right on the application of personal settings.

Network everything seems fine, can ping the VM, etc.

May not work on why the virtual machine should start any differently? Any ideas, anyone please. I am new to ESXi and migrate the virtual computer, but have used VMware Server a lot in the past.

    All advice appreciated...!

    That's good news.

Which explains, normally, you must do the VMTools upgrade, then the virtual machine hardware, so if the converter upgrades the equipment, the order is bad. Of course, it is recommended to upgrade the hardware to ver 7. So now that it works you can improve the tools and then the vHardware. It might be interesting, if you have enough resources on the ESXi host, make a clone to the virtual machine and the test on the clone in a State (disconnect vNIC) offline.

  • Does not start successfully after the installation of updates.

My sister has installed about 16 updates to windows on his computer. For some unknown reason after these updates, the police on the websites was different (a bit pixelated). She could not know how to solve this problem otherwise that restore to before the update. Then she started to install updates in the sections. She installed upgrading Cumulative security for Internet Explorer 8. He said she needed to reboot to complete the update, so she hit the button to restart. It began to restart and but just sat there for about 8 minutes approximately. She hit the power button to turn it off and then turned back on. The windows icon appeared and the fully charged status bar but then he just sat there on a white screen. We turned off and on again and it has always the same thing. I tried hitting F12 and it did nothing. I hit F2 and it went to the options but I have no idea what I should do, if anything.

So, can you help me? What should I do now?

EDIT: I tried a few times to press F8 to boot into safe mode, and it does nothing. I also hit F12 and it brought me to a start menu. I hit "diagnoses" and it did nothing.

  • Laptop HP Pavilion 2320DX g4: computer hp laptop pavilion g4 does not start successfully after update and return to windows 8.1

Hi, I have recently updated my laptop to Windows 10. He had so many problems and I didn't like it at all, so I just returned my laptop to Windows 8.1.  Since then, my laptop does not correctly every time, and the fan immediately starts to work as well. I can start my pc and connect to my home screen each time.  If the tile is moving or light up when I move my cursor, then I know that I can use my laptop for a little while. It can freeze after getting out a good program. Other times when I start my laptop, everything is dead except for logging on my screen. My Windows key on the keyboard does not work most of the time.  If the screen does not respond the first time I turn, as described above, I can't absolutely nothing on my pc. I can't access the search bar by moving the cursor to top right, I can't open the tiles, I can't spend in desktop mode, etc.  Front I upgraded to Windows 10 and downgraded to 8.1 all worked perfectly, because I've updated from 8.0 to 8.1 Windows almost 2 years.  I have a defective battery. in fact I can only use my laptop if it is plugged. My fan is constantly going, but I don't know if it's my loss of battery or what's wrong with my pc now.  I have described my problem in the Microsoft community forum but have had little response that was not helpful. I was told to go to the command prompt and put in DISM: scan now (which also contained letters more than that, but I do not remember all). I followed the instructions and for 2 days, my pc seems to do better. Then he returned to this problem again. I hope you can help me.  If you have additional questions, post here or please email me at [removed personal information]. Thank you!

    @DWESTDEWITT,

Hello and thanks for the display on the HP support forum.  What you can do at this point that there are several updates released by microsoft and hardware vendors is running the Windows Update Troubleshooter.

If this fails to solve the problem.  The only option will be to restore the operating system to the previous, until HP gets the drivers so that they can release them on the support page for your laptop for Windows 10.

Thanks again for posting and have a great day.

  • Windows 7 Enterprise does not start successfully after re - install

I have just reinstalled Windows 7 Enterprise 32-bit with SP1 on my laptop HP 6715 b. (I use 32 bits for any software that I develop is always compatible 32-bit.)

After you have re-installed however, it does not start correctly. What came with windows announce "Starting Windows", but the following animation never - start the four lights that turn and turn into the "Flying Windows Icon.  It then crashes right there - do nothing, no matter how long wait.

If I can put the machine power off and re - start, we are at the "Windows Recovery screen" - because it has not started correctly the last time.  From there, I can choose to make a recovery and return to the last Point of good restoration, i.e. on a freshly installed system before the update of Windows, of course.

If I select "Start Windows normally", it starts however. But it is not 'Normal '. For example I can't finish my "Windows Easy Transfer".  It says that it cannot connect to my domain name - even if I am connected to my area and have been using it to install other software.

Or I can do a Windows Update "normally". The last time I tried, it is gone for hours without finding what be - so I left it overnight. In the morning he had apparently found nothing yet.  However when I turned off the machine and then turn it again - he told me there are 211 updates installed.  WHO has literally all day.

I'm not happy to come back to the last good Restore Point.  I did once.  He has NOT fixed the problem.

    I also tried:

    • Using MSCONFIG to disable all the startup and Services, apart from Microsoft and Kaspersky - no improvement.
    • Do a CHKDSK - revealed nothing.
    • Start in Safe Mode, did change his behavior.  This time I do not have the Herald "Starting Windows".  But turn the machine works again once, return me the 'Windows Recovery screen '.

Ideas anyone? I'm at my wits end.

It's OK guys.  I have it sussed.

He was objecting to the fact that I had my USB with my "Windows Easy Transfer" files on it, plugged during the initialization of the system.

Also, I was wrong in my thinking on how "Windows Error Recovery".  I assumed that he would do all that it checks before proposing to do a system restore.  It is not, it suggests a restore of the system first.  If you say NO to that, then he makes his audit.

What is finally here, is that I finally chose an option before he went into the system recovery.  Then, I waited until he was asked to do a system restore.  I said NO, so he went in it checks.  He went through his analysis and finally concluded it was some "system unspecified device" recently added.

Well I haven't nothing added to my machine for years.  So, I was puzzled.  Then I thought ' well, I don't normally have my key USB is plugged. "  I wonder... ».  I therefore disconnected the USB drive and rebooted the machine.  The rest they say is history.

Hope this sorry tale helps someone else.  It just cost me four days!

  • Satellite A500 - it gets stuck one second after the BIOS update

I knew I shouldn't update BIOS unless I have problems. A message came Toshiba Bulletin Board and I was stupid enough to trust him and I have updated my BIOS. The update has been successful, my computer seems to work very well.

Except, now when I try to watch a movie, I downloaded every 10 seconds or if it gets stuck for a second and then plays normally and it happens when I play music on itunes. Because I didn't have this problem before, I'm not accusing the update. Is there a way I can go back or how can I return to normal?

Oh God, what have I done? :(

You can try to update a sound/display drivers on the [page driver Toshiba | http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp] Bios update should not cause a problem like yours, but who knows... (You can also try to load the default settings in the Bios)

  • Satellite L670D - 15 d does not start successfully after upgrading RAM

    Hello

    I have a Satellite L670D - 15 d and now I've passed on SSD.
In this context, I wanted to increase the RAM (2 GB DDR3-1066 original installed).

I bought the Mushkin 8 GB kit DDR3-1066.
In the BIOS are displayed both modules of 8 GB RAM.

After the logo screen, the white course remains the top left corner and the boot process stops.

Does someone has an idea and can help me?

The questions is related to the new RAM inserted.
But I m confused what RAM is installed exactly now; Modules of RAM of 2 GB + 8 GB or a single module of RAM to 8 GB?

I m request because the laptop Satellite L670D - 15 d supports 8 GB of RAM, and from my point of view of some 10 GB of RAM (2 GB + 8 GB) is too much.

That's why I recommend you to use 2 x 4 GB RAM modules.
Kingston modules provide good quality value ration. Modules are not the cheapest, but in most cases, these modules don cause compatibility issues t. You know

  • Satellite A210-1AO does not start

    Hello

I could use a little help. My 4 year old A210 1AO worked perfectly until today (except to change the HARD disk a few months before). Tonight, I tried to turn it on, but almost nothing happens. The light 'on' is on, the battery the power and light also, but I get no image. The fan is running (and after a few seconds goes out, as usual), ODD jobs, and that's it. I tried to start it without the RAM modules, without the HARD drive and nothing has changed. I removed the battery and you press the 'power' for 30 seconds, still nothing. And the curious thing is that now powers the laptop too using the buttons 'media' and 'browser '.

Does anyone have an idea what could have happened?
I should also mention that I took good care of the laptop, used a big laptop cooler with a 20 cm fan and used mainly to watch movies and surf the internet (for games and other stuff that I use a PC)

Any idea will be highly appreciated.

    Thank you in advanced,
    Adrian

First of all its pity to hear that your laptop no longer works.
I don t think that Flash memory USB flash BIOS might help you.

First the laptop must turn on even if the BIOS is not being updated so I think it s not BIOS issue permanently.

Secondly, you said that you tried to start the machine without memory modules
You should try to start the machine with memory inserted in the slot and should repeat this with two modules in each location.

But to be honest, I'm not very well if it would help you it looks like a serious hardware problem and possibly the motherboard is affected: (m

  • Satellute C660D-14 X does not start successfully after upgrading RAM

    + Komputerbay 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) DDR3 SODIMM (204 PIN) 1333 Mhz PC3-10600 8 GB portable memory +.

The RAM is recognized in the BIOS, but when I try to start windows I get a white line in the upper left corner of the screen.

    Any ideas how to fix?

Notepad starts successfully by using the old modules?
If Yes, then your problem are the new inserted memory modules.
Eventually, they are not fully compatible or defective.

I upgraded my laptop with the modules of RAM 8 GB some time ago and I used Kingston modules.
They are more expensive but Kingston provide good quality modules and they work great.

Less expensive modules can cause this kind of problem!

  • Satellite L500-1XL does not start successfully - stay in loop

The above machine was working fine until today.

Then when I turned on, it just sat on the Toshiba page, asking me to press F2 or F12.
I didn't know what to do so I ran the recovery disk (factory) which all seems to install ok but...

Now when I turn it on, it displays the original Toshiba start screen and stays there until I manually have to press F12 to select boot from the hard drive.
From there, it takes me to the Windows Boot Manager and I have to select the windows operating system 7.

Next, I get the "start windows for the first time" screen for a minute or two until it restarts and I have to press F12 again.
It repeats just all this and more in the loops.

I tried the recovery disk, but the same thing happens.

I went into the bios and made sure the hard drive is set as the first boot device and I put the bios by default, but nothing seems to make any difference.

    Any help/advice greatly appreciated.

    > I've been into the bios and made sure the hard drive is set as the first boot device and I put the bios by default, but nothing seems to make any difference.
Hmm. It was my idea I thought that maybe the HARD drive has not been chosen as first boot device, but it seems that this is not the case.

I m wondering why you should choose Win 7 in the Boot Manager. Usually, there is only a single OS installed and boot manager should not appear but Win 7shoudl automatically load

I think you should form the HARD drive once more should be deleted all partitions and then you should try Notepad recovery using the recovery disk
If that is not enough then I recommend you HARD drive. Perhaps it fails and the new HARD drive would be necessary.

  • Satellite L550-1CW does not start by pressing the power button / stop

I have a Toshiba Satellite L550-1cw that won't start, lights up when I press the power button all the lights at the front, the fan starts and he is looking for a HARD drive for about 2 seconds and then stops.

I tried a new HARD drive, but the same happens.
I was told that all this must be ignored and buy a new one that is not an option.
I love this laptop and want to run again as this is the best I have ever owned.

    Help, please

    Andrew

Can you give us more information on this vulnerability?
You see something on the screen after pressing the power button?
You can access the BIOS by pressing the F2 key immediately after switching on the device?

Despite this whole issue, I think that if nothing is visible on the screen it could be a serious problem with one of the following: RAM modules, motherboard, CPU/GPU.

From my experience the RAM memory modules are not very expensive (2nd hand might be good enough) and the replacement isn t very delicate in the case where the faulty memory causes this problem, the laptop could be set for a little money.

But in case of problems of motherboard, laptop repair procedure could be very expensive.

  • Satellite Pro L300 will not start until after the update of the BIOS of 1.30 to 1.50

    Dear all,

I have a Toshiba Satelklite Pro L300 and had no problem for the last 4 years. Last Monday, I replaced my hard drive with a new one and after installing a new copy of Windows XP Pro, I have downloaded all the drivers on the official site. After my last update, I have updated the BIOS to version 1.30 to 1.50. After a few seconds my laptop has rebooted and was not able to load Windows and / or recognize my new hard drive.

I tried several methods, using safe, optimal Bios default etc but was unsuccessful. IO could not even re - install Windows as the hard drive is not being recognized by the laptop. I've formatted the HD again through my desktop Pc, but still have the same problem.

I am really worried and would like immediate help!

    Best regards

    Engelbert

    > I formatted the HD again through my desktop Pc, but still have the same problem.
What happen exactly when you turn on your laptop?

Set the BIOS as deult and try to install the original recovery image that you got with your laptop. If everything works OK that means upgrading the disk HARD was a success and there is not a serious hardware problem.

After this check, you can try again to install Windows XP Home edition.
    Please post comments.

  • Windows does not start until after the second day to have.

I just got my laptop Toshiba yesterday with Windows 7 above. I used it for about 4 hours, when I'm done I turned it off by saying it close here go to start > stop. Before putting the laptop on I saw the lights on so I pressed the manual to close button, at the last second, I saw he said something as 341 on 356 updates installed, do not turn off the computer. I don't think a lot because I was tired so the next morning, I try to turn on my laptop and it stops after the Windows 7 load loading animation, and all I have is a black screen with a mouse. I tried to run in safe mode, same thing black screen with my ability to see where is my mouse.
