  I have a Toshiba laptop satellite a200-1ax. I installed Windows XP sp2.
  My problem is that I can't get the bluetooth work. I have installed a Toshiba bluetooth driver and nothing. When I try to install the bluetooth stack Toshiba the instalation stops at the driver part and won't. I tried, and left for more than 2 hours and it was not moving.

  When I opened my device manager there is no place where a bluetooth connection is mentioned. In the bluetooth of the 5 information system services where collapsed and to manual start. I tried to start manually services.msc, but there was no available bluetooth service.

  You have to add that I have 3 elements in with question marks Device Manager:
  1. mass storage controller
  2. feature modem on high definition audio bus
  3 PCI memory controller.

  If anyone can help with the problem of bluetooth, or three missing drivers, please do :)

  The Bluetooth should work!
  The laptop supports the BT module, and I think that you have not properly installed.

  Firstly don mix t the monitor BT with BT stack. You need the BT stack!
  I think that you should remove the software BT OS and after that new reboot should try to reinstall again.

  Then you must enable BT using the Fn + F8 key to complete the configuration of BT!

  Other devices such as PCI memory controller and mass storage controller. Are not supported by Windows XP and therefore there is no drivers!

  This may be a stupid answer, but on my laptop there is a switch on the front of the laptop that needs to be enabled for the wireless work. I saw this as a first step, and it doesn't seem to be well documented. Good luck.

  I was wondering that if someone had had experience of this problem - the sound on my laptop did not work.
  However when I go into Control Panel, windows tells me that the card its conexant high definition smartaudio HD2 works.

  If I try to download the sound card again, an error message comes up saying "" driver installation failed: could not find the device of media for this driver. ""

  Strangely, the sound will then work fine.
  But the problem returns to the restart of the computer.

  Does anyone have advice or suggestions?

  Any help much appreciated.

  The laptop supports the Conexant High Definition sound card and therefore the Conexant audio driver should work and can be installed.

  What operating system do you use?
  The operating system is up to date?
  Have you tried the Toshiba Recovery disk?
  Have you tried to reinstall the OS again to check if the OS is not confused upward?

  All the drivers are updated to vista, but still I can't get WiFi to work, no matter what I try.

  I am not "soft" to logical thinking, but I'm stumped! Good old ethernet works a treat, but completely unrealistic.

• Could not get WiFi to work on E1200

• Port changed to remote desktop - could not get through the firewall of Windows 7

  In order to get my two work computers from home (via my router) I changed the port number for the remote desktop on one of the machines. Now, I can not him (even to my network of local work) unless I have turn off the Windows Firewall.  With the firewall disabled I can access it fine (with the new port number).  I tried establishing a new rule of inbound traffic but have not been able to get this to work.  What is the process step by step to creating the rule for inbound traffic for that to happen?

• I can't get any printer work with Windows XP too more.

  I can't get any printer to work with my computer which uses Windows XP.  I checked with the companies of the printer and it is not a driver problem.  In addition, these printers all work on other computers that use Windows XP.  In addition, they worked on my computer for years until a few weeks ago.  I have been informed by the technicians of the printer who checked my computer to verify that it was not a 'driver problem' that there is a problem of Microsoft XP. It seems that the part of XP that runs the divers feel is corrupt.  The print job will go to the print spooler, but it is never sent too the printer.  Anyone has the clues how too fix this?  Y at - it an XP patch that might do the trick?  Also, I tried a "System Restore" in several places and it was not fixed.

  Choose a printer and work to get this working.

  In the windows printers and faxes, you see a printer that is in line with a status if "ready" and are able to print a test page (right click, properties, print the Test Page). "

  If there is a jam in print job in the queue of XP, nothing will be printed until the jam is cleared.

  Do not try to start or restart the Print Spooler Service immediately.  You must remove all print jobs backed up first...
     
  Then, delete all updates pending upward and forward to printing from XP.  If they do not print before, you will need to send the to the printer again.
     
  Using Windows Explorer, navigate to the following folder (assuming that Windows is installed on your C drive):
     
  C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS
         
  Delete all the print jobs in queue (select and delete all the files) in the folder if the folder is without waiting for print jobs.  The folder must be empty when you are finished.
         
  Reboot your system and check the Print Spooler Service again to make sure the Print Spooler Service restarts automatically restart (given that the startup type is set to automatic).
     
  After the reboot, check again the Spooler Service for printing and the 'Status' column for the print spooler must be read "started."

  See if you can now print a Test Page.

  Submit new failure of print jobs.

  I have the same problem.

  I have a Satellite L755-175 runs a new copy of Windows 7 Ultimate, but I also can't seem to get the WIFI to work at all.
  I downloaded drivers from the corresponding page in the drivers for Satellite L755-175 (Windows 7 64-bit) (also tried 32 bit). But do not install drivers.

  I don't see any network adapter wireless device settings? just the Ethernet connection.

  Have adjusted the volume - increase levels of reading and recording settings and clicked on 'choose' in the recording settings. Have you tried an external microphone. Have tried with computer attached to the port replicator and taken in isolation.

  Here, you can try to start the configuration of the Microphone. Also check the improvements of Microphone. There you can activate the recording of voice option
  On the power management tab, you need to change the option to no energy saving

  The other possibility is to check the Toshiba Mic Effects. Check if the Mic controller is set to max.
