  Hello everyone, I have a client who brought me a CP5525 for repair with an unusual problem.  The machine will not get past the initialization stage if the network cable is connected.  If the network cable is removed, the machine comes to ready.  Initially, I suspected a trainer Board bad, but instead, I get the same problem.  With the network cable is connected, the machine will not get past the initialization stage.  I know I'm the cable is good I can plug another printer in there and it works fine.  The trainer has a green light on the port of the network adapter when the cable is connected, the led "smiley face" is on the balance and the "heartbeat" light flashes twice and pauses, then blinks twice again and continues to do so, that everything seems normal.  In addition, while the machine is still being initialized, I can press the test button on the print engine and it prints a test page to the normal search.  I don't know if I should just let the machine only and see if it boots never completely, but no idea how long I have to wait, I left longer than 10 minutes and it is not always initialize.  If I unplug the network cable and allow the machine to go ready I can print a log of events and it shows no errors.  Of course, it is used as a network printer, so there need to be ready with a NETWORK cable.  At this point I have no idea what my next step should be to help or ideas would be appreciated.

  Two points here. First you move the hard drive to the new trainers, so if the hard drive is the problem you can not say. Thing that you can do with the printer NOT connected to the network, ping the ip address. It is possible that some other piece of equipment on the network took somehow this ip address and causes all sorts of havoc with your problem.  Now regarding the update of the firmware.  I'm sure that you have a computer at home that does not restrict the usb port.  Just take a USB key to your computer at home and put a picture of the ORL file on the USB at home and bring to the office and just that insert the drive into the USB printers and turn on the printer and it should ask if you want to load the updated file.  Either way, which base?  I'm retired U.S. Army more than 20 years ago.

  You can use a key to 4 digits as 1111, 1234, 2222, etc.. It's not really important what numbers you use, but the same key must be used on laptop and mobile phone.

  On the domain controller or problems by communicating with the domain controller, when you remove the network cable, you connect with that caching of credentials.  Also look at the DNS settings on the RODC, the RODC DNS should point to itself, make sure that the machines are all on the same subnet.

  Start your laptop and enter the BIOS settings. Leave it for a while and let us know if the same thing happens again.

  Try setting the SATA Mode to compatibility (located in the BIOS, press F2 at the Toshiba logo after power up).

  The laptop has 6 multimedia keys on top.

  Whenever the ethernet cable is plugged or wifi is connected, stop work until the screen goes black but the power remains on: fan, always active LEDs. The only way to stop then is to press the power button.

  As the network is always connected, it's really annoying.

  First have you checked if you use the latest version of the BIOS?
  Please check this!

  On the European driver Toshiba page you will always find the latest BIOS and divers.

  Secondly, I would recommend disabling more upward on LAN option in the BIOS and in properties (device-> LAN properties-> Advanced tab management) LAN card

  If the issue took place recently then you can try the system restore.

  Check the type of network card you have and that you try to update the drivers from the hardware manufactures Web site.
  Also, check the connection for the network adapter. Do you see any physical damage. When you plug the NIC saw all the lights on the network card lights up? If not, then you can deal with a hardware problem and need to contact the manufacture of the system and see about obtaining the card replaced.

  I do not use a Sony DVD but TDK or Verbatim DVD-R support. Whenever I used it I was able to create a recovery media. No problem at all.
  I recommend you do the same thing. Believe me, it will not work correctly.
