  Hello

  Does not turn my dell studio 1555 laptop computer. I tried all the troubleshooting option provided in the dell forums.

  Here are the steps:

  • Disconnected all external devices on the computer, including the battery and the AC adapter / CC.
  • Press and hold the power button for 20 seconds.
  • Reconnected the battery and the adapter.

  After checking all the options of this still my laptop does not turn. I am not able by any beeps as well.

  I even checked the video output connect my laptop with an HDMI cable on other devices (TV). The screen is blank.

  Kindly let me know what we can do more.

  PS: I have no warranty for my laptop.

  Check that the LED on the adapter lights before plugging the end of the book.  If this is not the case, replace the card.

  Try without the battery - if it will then light up, the battery is bad.

  Unplug, remove the battery, press power for 30 seconds and remove and reinstall the bars of memory.  Try again.

  If it lights with a good map and without the battery, replace the motherboard.

  My laptop battery 3100 dv6t has is not good enough. It doen't take the load. Power goes off when the laptop on. Suddenlty it will turn off and now I can not turn on. But the charging light turns red for about 1 minute and it turns white after that. But the laptop does not light. What should I do? Help, please.

  I have a laptop HP Pavilion p150nh 15. It does not turn off. If I want to close it will turn off completely. I have black screen but the vens are still on and the buttons start led is also single beds. I've tried everything. Updates, hard reset I was looking for BIOS but nothing.

  I recently bought this laptop computer right about a month ago, and just recently it started acting for no reason. When I press the power button, an orange light comes on, screen lights up without images, and there is a noise; but the laptop does not light.   But last week the laptop does not work at all. Even plugged in, there are no more than 5 seconds. I opened it and noticed a problem on the cable connecting the charger to the motherboard. On the cable is cut (the black one).

  It's really hard to say what causes this problem, but I think that notebok technicians do a good job and they will be committed to repair your laptop as soon as possible. Maybe they ordered some new parts, but they are not available at this time

  Theoretically, all that could be the reason of this problem FL inverter, LCD screen, motherboard, graphics card, cable, etc.

  So I think you should call the technicians still what is the current status.
  But I doubt that you can get a new laptop for free. If it of still under warranty, it will be repaired.

• Pavilion dv9700: laptop does not turn on but lights flash

  I have a Pavilion DV9700, service tag dv9925r. When I turn on the power, the power led and the led on top flash, I can hear the fan and drive spinning, but the screen stays black and after one or two seconds the lights out, but then continue to Flash on then close. When, I hear the fan running.

  What I've tried;

  Hung still no display on an external monitor

  Removed and reinstall the memory and hard drive, not good.

  Tried the hard reset, not good.

  I put another hard drive just to see if the disc was not, but no difference.

  What operating system do you use?

  When you connect it to the power light on the power supply?

• HP Pavilion 1209sz g6: laptop does not turn on

  My HP Pavilion g6-1209sz lights. When I press the power button, this will happen:

  -I can hear the computer start, but the fan won't move;

  -l' screen stays black

  -the led power button on and near the power adapter is turned on (white), the led on the wireless button is on (red)

  - about locking cap button led flashes 3 times.

  This has happened before:

  Yesterday, that the computer does not light at all, nothing at all, except that white led near the power adapter is on.

  After that I disassambled computer, thinking he was dead, and at least I'll have fun. I removed the motherboard in order to clean the fan, which was completely clogged with dust.   This page lists the meaning the number of flashes on the cap lock button. The 3 flashes, I had meant that the RAM had a problem. He simply has not been installed correctly.

  Go to BIOS and check if you can activate it.

  By the way; you said that buttons don t work with Vista.
  Have you tested this with Vista OS preinstalled Toshiba?
