Satellite A355 NXP FM Tuner v. 1.9 Radio Echo after Vista SP2
I installed the Windows Vista SP2.
Now, when I run the utility of Tuner FM NXP v.1.9, radio starts playing after a few seconds of "stuttering". Then, the audio is "echo". In other words, I hear two liable - 2 seconds late on the first. I can't describe the matter other than an 'echo '. This made the radio almost ineffective.
Has anyone else encountered this problem? I tried to disable MS Windows Indexing. I see no obvious problem. No other changes have been made. This occurred immediately after the installation of Windows Vista SP 2.

I think you're the first person who has posted it here in the forum.
I looked for similar topics but I found nothing.
If you have noticed this after the Vista SP2 so I guess it has something to do with the new MS. patches Maybe there is a problem of compatibility between some patches and the pilot.
But have you tried reinstalling the driver?
If this is not the case to do this and check what's happening
I just bought a Toshiba Satellite A355 of Costco in the States. I received the following error message when I tried to install XP:
"STOP: 0X0000007B (0XF78D2524, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000).
I applied the fix suggested by tony_roti in the thread "cannot install Win XP SP2 on Satellite A300 - 1 MM.
It seems to have worked as well on my A355.
The version of Costco of the machine comes with 2 hard drives of 250 GB.
I removed the disk of 250 GB with Vista installed on it.
I left the hot spare in the machine.
I changed the BIOS to boot from the CD
I changed the setting in the BIOS from AHCI to Compatible.
I reran install Windows XP SP2
At the appropriate level, I reformatted the hot spare from the module of XP SP2 with NTFS formatting.
Then I installed Windows XP.
... Next up Boot Magic.
Thank you for having this forum he helped solve what could have been a show-stopper!
Thanks for the feedback buddy.
I agree with you. There are a lot of useful discussions and information.
It s worth to read ;)
See you soon
My Toshiba Satellite A355-S6925 does not recognize a Lexar Platinum II 32 GB SDHC card class 4.
My last hard drive crashed and I replaced with a new one and installed Windows 7 from scratch.
Am I missing a driver or firmware to use the built in reader SDHC?
Please help, I just bought a camcorder and I want to transfer video.
> My Toshiba Satellite A355-S6925 does not recognize a Lexar Platinum II 32 GB SDHC card class 4.
Hmm, I think that the card isn't recognized due the high capacity of 32 GB. As much I know 32 GB cards are not supported for all card readers
In your case, I would try a smaller size such as 4 GB or 8 GB. Generally these cards should always work.
Check this box!
Recently, we purchased the Toshiba Satellite A355-S6925, which has the operating system Windows Home VISTA 64 bytes.
The Canon Pixma 5000 printer is directly related to a Windows XP-based computer by using the 32-bit operating system.
When I go to add a printer (Option LAN) the Toshiba sees Canon printer but then returns an error message that there is a bad driver. When you go to the next step, it says that it cannot find the correct "INF". I suppose the INF file is actually on the remote computer on which the printer is connected to. So a question, where is an INF printer on a Windows XP computer?
A test, I plugged the printer directly on the Toshiba and the loaded Toshiba driver the printer. I hoped that could solve my problem, but it didn't. When I tried to add the printer, once again, like a remote printer I got the same error message that it could not find the INF file.
The "Add a printer" Wizard see Canon printer on our LINUX computer. In fact when I added the printer connected to the LINUX computer, I can print from the Toshiba. While this works, it's a bad solution, because I'm still not able to print directly to the remote printer.
Another experiment, I tried to use the printer installation disc, this was rejected by the Toshiba since he was a pilot of 32 bytes. I also downloaded from the site Web of Canon driver 64 bytes, but once again the Add Printer Wizard said that there was a missing INF file... So I always assume that I need to point to an INF file that is located on the Windows XP computer?
Great news and thanks for your comments!
On the State of ink, you may have to contact the manufacture of the printer.
I have a Toshiba Satellite A355-S69403.
When I try to use the internal microphone located at the top of the lid in the open (side) position, it will not work.
I tried to do activities such as talking with friends on MSN Messenger.
I tried to use the speech recognition program that came with my laptop, I tried to use accessibility in control whether Panel if my microphone is the problem.
When talking with my friends that they could see talk me on the webcam, but no noise near my voice was detected, instead they compared to alien-strange noises, because it makes strange clicking noises and others.
When I was with the sound recorder I heard the same thing, there is no interference of background noise or anything, it just clicks and sounds very restless and strange.
The internal MIC is part of the webcam.
First, I think you should check if you can update the software of the webcam and the audio driver.
Satellite A355-S69403 is a Toshiba model that drivers should be downloaded from the Toshiba driver page we
I'm not sure if this will help, but I had some problems of its due to the WiFi.
The sound was choppy, and I got some interference.
After the update of the WLan driver, everything was ok.
I have a satellite A500 mahcine (PSAR9A - 01 H 001), who was supposedly a digital tv tuner integrated in it.
When I got to the machine he had windows 7 home - which has been upgraded to the work for Win 7 teacher I needed access to the domain.
The thing is that there is no sign in the hardware of a tv tuner card Manager and WMC reports no card installed.
Ive tried to download and install the drivers from the toshiba site, but it's just runs and does nothing
Someone told me everything clues how to get this running thing (if it actually comes out)
What do you mean with supposedly? Has your laptop TV tuner or not?
I tried to find the exact specification for laptop, but unfortunately I didn't find it.
I ve checked the Toshiba download page and wasn't able to find the driver TV tuner so I think that your model of laptop (PSAR9A) - 001 01 H has not.
By the way: If your laptop is a TV tuner on the right side for laptop it should be placed taking TV tuner. It should be between the ports USB and DC Jack.
Can someone can guide me how can I connect the VCR to laptop model Satellite P105-S6064. Now I connected the TV via USB. Is it necessary that I have to redo my settings to view the VCR.
The statement on the USB tuner is not unclear.
I assumed that if I connect the VCR output via USB in component. I'm not able to view.
Which USB TV tuner you use? Are there branches in port?
Grapgic card Geforce4 420Go NVIDIA
Installed TV tuner: AVERTV USB2.0
The TV tuner receives tv chanells but without audio Grapgic alone.
What could be the cause of this problem?
Where can I find softwere or update for display? the one I have is display-xp - 613103230.zip
In my opinion it s is not the problem of the graphics driver. But if you want, you can try to update. You can find the latest driver on the Toshiba site.
In addition, I recommend that you check the settings of the software AVerTV (NTSC, PAL)
first of all, sorry for my bad English...
Last week, I bought my 660 Satellite - 14L. I Replayced the original HDD with a SSD and installed a fresh Win7. Everything works fine, but I can't get the hybrid TV tuner to run.
In the device manager card TV has been installed correctly, but I see no TV picture. I tried Winwos media center and a few other search software, google, but I tried all the software won't show me any TV Programm/image. For example: Windows Media Center runs a channel search, but no TV Signal has been found. the notebook-documentary says, no external antenna is necessary. But I have tried with and without external antenna. But nothing happens after the channel search.
Then I tried to use the original HARD drive with pre-installed software Toshiba... but also the same thing... no TV signal.
What am I wrong? Can someone help me or give me a hint, this software works very well with internal Toshiba TV hybrid Tuner. I live in Germany and I use DVB - T.
Thanks for the help and thanks for reading my bad English.
Are you sure signal, DVB - T is available in your area where you live?
I just bought the laptop P870 / 05q with TV tuner. I plugged the antenna cable from my TV to the laptop and run on Arcsoft TV 5.0 and perform a channel scan. It is not at all the channels. Can someone please provide suggestions on what I can do wrong.
The laptop came with pre-installed Windows 8.
Thanks in advance
> I plugged the antenna cable from my TV to the laptop and run on Arcsoft TV 5.0 and perform a channel scan. It is not all channels at all
Check the user manual how to use the TV tuner:
The laptop supports the built-in hybrid digital / analog TV Tuner.
This means that you can receive and watch TV channels on your laptop.
If you wish to receive channeled through DVB - T, you must ensure that the DVB - T (digital transmissions) are available in the area where you live.
Of course, you can connect a decoder using a coaxial cable to receive the programs on the cable or satellite TELEVISION.
The Windows Media Center or in your case, Arcsoft tv 5.0 can be used for watching TV programs or save them.
Please someone help me find a replacement for my graphics card!
I can't find this type of card the "ATI RADEON MOBILITY 3650 for TOSHIBA SATELLITE A350.
On the back of the card have this code "M86 512 HYN"
You can buy compatible parts of the ASP from Toshiba (authorized service provider) in your country. But I don't know if you will get only the mono-GPU or if you need to buy the whole motherboard which contains this chip too m.
So, get in touch with Toshiba ASP technicians and ask for this part!
I've owned this phone for about 4 months now. It is running Vista and I encountered problems with the wireless network since then. I use a D-Link DIR-655 router. My problem is:
When they surf the internet, web pages will load quickly a minute and struggle to load the other and ultimately fail with a network disconnected to appear in the lower right icon. Network will reconnect automatically. No matter what time of the day or loacation in the House. Happening right next to the router.
Downloading files on the net, the network disconnects for 10 seconds and will reconnect automatically.
I have a Roku device connected to the network. Never, this device disconnects from the network. My only problem is that when the video steam in this block, I limited the ability surf on laptop. But no disconnects with Roku.
Wii is connected to the network. No disconnects with this device.
Wireless printer works very well.
Just a problem with the laptop. I googled this problem without success for an answer. Help, please. To witsend!
Connection signal strength: excellent all over the House, even next to 2.4gh Articles
Thanks in advance for your help.
In your case I would first update the WiFi drivers. You can find it on the Toshiba site and Akuma already post the link.
If you use Vista on your laptop, you must turn off the power save for the WLAN. This Toshiba document could be useful for you:
Make sure the router and the laptop using the same standard WiFi, 802.11 g for example.
Last but not least try to update the BIOS.
I read often in the forum a driver and/or BIOS update is to fix the problem if it s worth a try. ;)
I'm new here.
So, I installed all the drivers brand new on my Vista Ultimate, but I noticed a few problems.
1. where can I find or install turbo 1 GB memory... I noticed that in the screen parameters are the values not displayed as they should be written on information cards and Toshiba;
2. in the exercise and more games I notice slow, bad performance with SLI mode market, with MSI updates of Microsoft especially for sli and nvidia, as well as 2 times 8600 GT with SLI where is performance?
I had downloaded all the drivers at Toshiba support page... and here are my results: in the image:
I would be very happy to tell me how can I improve my performance so that the games in Sli mode will go to 1024 x 768 with medium/high details in games like (Call of Duty 4, NFS Prostreet)?
Can someone with a Satellite X 200 and SLI in Geforce 8600gt tell me how to improve performance on my laptop and if its normally with the sli mode, with only 256 MB ram, graphic card 1024Mo all together and dedicated 767 MB, as seen on the link to my graphic card screen;
Because I think that the graphic representation must be better... and now I don't know what to do?
On my Satellite X 200 - 21 X I run Vista ultimate, all the latest drivers from toshiba are supported, and I can't play games on the resolution of 1024 x 768 with medium details;
In COD4 is my default definition 800 x 600 all the way...
So what I expect help and answers.
My Satellite Pro P100 needs the following software uninstalled before installing Vista: -.

Bluetooth Stack for Windows by Toshiba
Toshiba has plans to release a version of Vista the last two?
I put t know that Toshiba exactly, but all the tools and utilities will be available for download after the official launch of Vista.
A friend of mine told me that it may happen that all software will not be created separately for the facility, but as a set of software. I put t know where he found this info, but let's see how it will work.
By the way: pile of BT for Vista is available on the Toshiba BT page. Check it out under the http://aps.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/
I have some problems with my Satellite Pro U200 (WinVista, BIOS 3.50, Display Driver 188.8.131.527).
After the exit mode standby, the display shows the correct resoluion of 1280 x 800 for a second and then goes to 1024 x 768. It's very annoying.
I tried to uninstall / reinstall the display driver, but it did not help.
Does anyone have an idea?
Well, I remember a similar problem happened on U200 with Windows XP and Windows XP MCE.
The update of the graphics to the version 184.108.40.20643 driver has solved this strange switching
Maybe the next update of the graphics card driver will clear this issue
