  Don't you see the same direction on the external monitor?
  If Yes, then the graphics card may be affected which means you need to replace the motherboard.

  Hello. My laptop (satellite A50-111) stops with a blue screen. Sometimes when that I start the computer, sometimes, when I'm trying to play a video file, sometimes... I can't understand why... The error messages are inconsistent. They are different all the time (for example: SPECIAL_POOL_DETECTED_MEMORY_CORRUPTION or PFN_LIST_CORRUPT or PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGE_AREA or something with IRQ LESS THAN EQUAL etc.).

  I suspect that the problem is the graphics card or RAM memory. It is because the file ialmdnt5.dll and ialmdev5.dll were mentioned in the error screens).

  I ran a test of memory from a CD bootable (memtest-86) and everything seems to be fine with the memory. However, the memory is not the original one. I did a brief day when I bought the laptop (the memory is TMC - 2 x 512 MB)

  Any ideas what the problem might be. The problem is that I have these blue screens more often (I've had them several times before but now I have at least one per day)

  More info: I ran the test memory Microsoft (in addition to above mentioned Memtest-86). Is it possible to have the RAM ok, but everything just does not work WITH my Toshiba laptop?   I bought a new patriot 1 GB ram sodimm pc 2700 as an upgrade to my satellite a50-109. After installation of the equipment on the back of the laptop, I had some problems with windows xp bsod (blue screen of death). Errors 0x000000e8. After recording with microsoft, I had to reinstall the drivers... Can someone help me please!

  It seems that you are using a module of memory without a name. These modules can malfunction. It s nothing unusual.
  So I use and always buy modules memory Kingston or Infineon brand, for example.
  I have goggled autour and actually ntfs.sys error might have something to do with the fault memory.
  It s whatever the module has been properly recognized in the BIOS. Certain areas of memory may malfunction

  I haven't used my Satellite A50 for months and when I just came today.
