  Last week the sound went out on my Satellite A505-S6960 speakers and the headphone jack. I'm currently running Vista. Before that, the sound worked fine for the first 6 weeks. After you have reinstalled the following driver, the sound worked fine again:

  Have you tried the system restore option to roll back the OS to an earlier time when everything worked well?

  I want to reinstall vista on my Satellite A505. I have the cd and registration key, but I don't have the driver cd (or rather, I have it but for some reason it does not work). With a new installation, vista has no drivers for my laptop, including the driver for my wireless card, internet connection AND when I connect directly via ethernet cable. I have an external hard drive that I can use to transfer files from a computer with an internet connection, but whenever I click on the downloaded drivers, it seems that it works but it doesn't. • Satellite A505-S6005: creating recovery discs power calibration error

  just bought a satellite A505-S6005 and try to create recovery discs.
  I am using Dynex DVD - R.

  He created the 1st disk after the slightest mistake 2 times and when I started the 2nd drive continued to get again the message that is OE01BS-26 error Code - 2 said A 037303 power calibration area error occurred, check the disk for dirt or scratches.

  The disks are not scratched, and after going through 5-6 discs wonder if something is wrong with the optical drive & not the disks.

  You are using incompatible disks!

  Try different DVD from different manufacturers.
  I m using the Verbatim or TDK DVD-R and my CD/DVD drive handles these discs without problem.

  I think it might be a little difficult to get a display driver for XP and this graphics card. The fact is that Windows XP is old and the past. No support, there is more to the new laptops.

There is no audio problem with netflix audio, streaming, on demand, etc. I will continue to look and see if I forget something, but I have yet to find solutions.

  Looks like the audio be normalized.

  Disable the standardization in Media Player.
  You can also disable the improvements in the sound control panel.

  I installed windows 7 ultimate on my toshiba Satellite A505 s6970 and I downloaded all the drivers from http://www.csd.toshiba.com/ and I installed all.

  When I open the Device Manager, 3 devices are not installed (Base-2 system device / / 1-Unknown device).
  Then I installed toshiba service station (Windows Vista / 7 32-64 bit because my windows is 64) it will search for and automatically download all necessary devices, but it does not work on windows 7, it worked perfectly in windows vista.

  Also the eco utility does not work, and the media touch buttons work just fine, but without giving that voice tone.

  I didn't install Windows 7 on my Satellite A500 again but I've done a clean install of too. The only difference is that it is Vista not Windows 7.

  I mean, it's the same as Akuma. You will find on the site of Toshiba Eco Utility. I even checked the Toshiba page we and I can't find the Eco utility. It s is only available for Vista at the moment but you should try it because most of the drivers are also works on Windows 7. It s worth a try!

  For me after installation of the Eco utility button worked properly! :)
