  To be honest I never received this error before but it sounds like that recovery creator disc doesn t work properly... You should try a HDD recovery to restore the factory settings. Maybe you are able to create the recovery disk.

  Otherwise, I would contact an authorized service provider. If you can t create the recovery disk, the guy should be able to help you to complete this procedure.

While waiting for that to happen, I had access to a usb SATA bridge and the opperating system was beyond repair and the unreadable disk from HP mini, I decided to try to repair the disk. So I reformatted the old disk using my desktop computer. Windows had no problem with the drive and it seems to work very well.

  I also had to order the recovery disks (intro to windows 7).

  In any case try to reinstall using the recovery via the DVD USB drive disks. It kept coming back with error 17 - I found a hard drive error. I also tried to install with a Windows XP installation disc and it was more explicit hard drive it said it had NOT installed it - or "it does not match the sheet material for unity" (or words to that effect)

  To get the new hard drive - the same problem. Even if both of these drives operate as USB connected to my main desktop drives. SO my conclusion is that the BIOS start inspect the hard drive, check the configuration of the formatting. that is the size and the partitions etc. and when they do not correspond to the idea of BIOS of good care he rejects the hard drive and finds it is not installed.  Or maybe to do some files on the hard drive of base. Whatever it is, the bios concludes that there is no hard drive and will always return a "failed" to the hard drive of the bios test.

  Any ideas on that? I need to know exactly which partitions are expected by the bios. Does anyone have these specs, or maybe you have a mini HP and can examine your hard disk and tell me the amounts of partition and the size?

  Unless I can get the bios to recognize the hard drive, I don't see how I can reinstall the operating system on it. Any help is appreciated.

  Well, I hope this is my last post here. I had already printed a return address for the recovery disks, being returned to the Netherlands. Just for the beggar of cast iron, however, I decided to try just once more would like to think that now that there is a kind of operating system on the hard drive it might work.   So anyone with a similar problem to the HP mini not recognize the recovery disks is my advice; try an another external DVD drive, preferably one with its own supply of.

When installing the new motherboard (same part No.: 443775-001) and insert the recovery (bought from HP) discs that I have, I received an error message stating that the PC could not be recovered using my disks. The serial numbers on the label service and in my bios do not match. When I entered the serial number of my bios in HPpartsurfer, he said that the system is a DV6449us. I already checked my RAM and HARD drive is brand new/not formatted. I used these recovery discs (manufacturer: 483905-003/483906-003) successfully before on other flags of DV series.   I replaced the 60 GB IDE HDD in my laptop Toshiba Satellite A55-S106 with a 160 GB one of Western Digital.

  I've restored a Ghost 10 image to the new drive on a hard disk external. The computer still recognizes only 60 GB. Belarc and HD Tune to see a 160 GB drive, but show the volumes as being only 60 GB.

  Disk management Windows show 93,16 GB as unallocated.
  I am running Windows XP SP3.

  Someone at - it ideas? The BIOS can be crippled somehow? I can't find anything in the BIOS that seems to address hard drive size.

  Yes, I suppose the HARD drive was not formatted in NTFS file format.
  This is why I would recommend booting from original Toshiba Recovery CD and then check if the HARD drive has been recognized correctly!

  Try to open the it to start - all programs - Games - Games Explorer, and then clicking the icon FSX.

  A disk error of 25 means that the program cannot read your disk reading.  Either the disc is scratch, dirty or defective.  If you need another drive, or you can try it on another computer. The message of Visual elements of Vista is not serious.  Vista will automatically your screen to a basic compatible mode when the application is launched.  However, it seems that your game is a failure due to the disk error and not the Vista display problem. Try to clean the disc and see if that helps.

  Last resort, it seems you'd have to do a complete uninstall and reinstall FSX.

  In general, you can't get different results in different environments, no.

  Of course, you could write your routine to decrypt so that it intercepts it and returns a random string of RAW.

  However, this is not normally the way people go on hiding sensitive data in environments below. It would be much more common to use a tool that is designed for this tool. For example, Oracle has a Pack of masking of data for Enterprise Manager that allows to replace sensitive data with false, but realistic data as part of the updating of the environments below. There are also data from third-party tools like masqueur datamasking.

  It seems that something goes wrong with the partitions on the HARD disk.
  I recommend to use a MS Windows XP disk or other bootable disk and format the HARD disk first!
  After that, you can use the recovery again disc to reinstall the operating system on this laptop.
