Satellite A60 restarts automatically displaying a blue screen
I have a Toshiba Satellite A60 two years old, recently, I noticed a problem where suddenly the computer restarts automatically, in the first, showing a blue screen with white text for a glimpse of a second. Also what difference does update the BIOS?
Hi Mustafa
The blue screen of death appears usually due to hardware failure or serious malfunction of software.
These two issues are possible on your device.
Please see this FAQ Toshiba on disabling automatic Windows XP restart after a system failure:
http://support.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/FAQ5B01770000R01.htm
If the error message appears again, so you can see all the details of this message and then it should be possible to detect the reason why it happens.
PS: Extra, you can try to recover the laptop with the restore CD provided. Maybe this will solve this problem.

Satellite L500-1XD constantly restarts & display recovery blue screen
I bought a laptop Toshiba Satellite L500-1XD from an Argos store in August. Shortly after that I got it occasionally rebooted itself and displays blue screen of recovery saying that the laptop has recovered from a hardware failure. It has become more common recently and he often stops, displays the blue screen, reboots and done over and over again.
I do not have many new programs on the laptop and that you have installed all updates. I deleted programs I have installed with the exception of Microsoft Office.
Another thing that could be linked so that when the laptop starts, he says the Toshiba Service Station has stopped working and trying to find a solution to the problem.
I'd appreciate any advice on how I might remedy this
Thank you in anticipation
Hi katrina_1,
This means that the pre-installed Windows version is still installed, right?
Well, I think that it of difficult to say why it happens it could be a hardware or software malfunction. The two may be possible.
The reasons of the majority of blue screens are drivers or hardware itself are all properly installed devices in Device Manager or do you see yellow exclamation points? In your case, I'll try to reinstall Windows. Maybe it s only a software problem or driver
Also if you have installed both modules of memory long live, test it with a module only. You can also use Memtest86 or another tool of diagnosis of RAM to test the memory modules RAM for failures. -
Satellite Pro A200SE-1F9 starts showing blue screen
Hello
I recently bought a Satellite Pro A200SE 1F9 (2.00 Ghz, 2 GB RAM, professional running Vista), after 4 months he began to launch Blue error screen. I tried not to upgrade or fix a new material. I had a Linux Fedora 7 (dual boot), as I was getting this error quite often I got Vista Business (using Toshiba recovery disc). Now, I have only Vista in my laptop (lost Linux completely).
Some time the Notepad starts and goes inside Vista, after 10/20 mts, it starts again after showing blue screen, in other cases it keeps restart after a quick blue screen start.I'm really frustrated by this behavior and don't know what to do. Can someone help me please in the present.
Thank you
R nciraHave you installed a few applications which can be responsible for that?
I can't imagine that the BSOD occurs after a clean install of Vista OS.

Hello
Step 1: Check if you are able to boot in safe mode. If you are able to boot into safe mode, and then try to perform the clean boot to safe mode and check.
From your computer by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine if a background program is interfering with your game or program. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot".

I have a satellite A60 and I've had it for a year, and now all of a sudden, I have frequent crashes. The blue screen of death was told it is caused by a driver not working not properly, namely an ATI driver.

See the page of the Toshiba driver for updates.
If it doesn t help and the blue screen appears again and it would be very interesting to know the details of the blue screen, for example stop: xxxxxxCheck it out.

Satellite M30x - bootsequence Windows XP with blue screen
I have the following problem: I have 2 different Satellite M Series notebooks of performance!
The problem, that I wonder happens 100% of the tests, but after turning on the computer laptop and after the bootsequence - at the present time, that the windows XP logo appears - the system halts with a blue screen. Turn to restart and falls into the next blue screen.
The only thing I discovered is that XP regularly also begins long switch WLAN hardware is turned OFF as soon as I turn this switch with Windows, the blue screen occurs immediately and the system runs out of oil.
is that what is anyone able to help? -new review of pilots or any other solution to the problem would be appreciated!
Hansjoerg
Hey,.
Congratulations, you have already found the problem! :)
From my own experience, I can tell you that the same thing happened to a friend of mine. So he replaced the WLAN card with a new one and the problem has been resolved! Windows starts with WLAN turn on () correctly!
What WLAN card is installed on your laptop?
In Satellite M30x of my friend a WLAN Wireless Intel 2200 card has been installed. He bought a new one for little money on eBay and replaced it yourself because it s not very delicate. So take a look on eBay or other places. You can also ask a maintainer approved assistance if you are not familiar with the disassembly of the laptop.

Satellite Pro A200-PSAE7: error on blue screen - ati2dvag infitive loop
I've got Satellite Pro A200-PSAE7 with ATI Mobility Radeon HD2600. I downgraded to XP SP2. I get a blue screen saying that ati2dvag went infitive enough loop constantly. Any solution to this?
OFFTOPIC: Why standart drivers from ati.com to display does not work? (while on my laptop of friends with also hd2600 mobilty radeon works fine).
Hello
> I've got Satellite Pro A200-PSAE7 with ATI Mobility Radeon HD2600. I downgraded to XP SP2. I get a blue screen saying that ati2dvag went infitive enough loop constantly. Any solution to this?
The BSOD appears usually due to software malfunction serious matter or material.
I think it s a software problem (driver).I presume that the BSOD appears why play games in most of the cases the graphics driver must be updated.
If the XP driver from the Toshiba page will not help, you can try the graphics drivers on the www.omegadrivers.net site. 3rd third party drivers must run on your laptop. But note; 3 third-party drivers can be used only at your own risk!> Why standard ati.com display drivers do not work? (While on my laptop of friends with also hd2600 mobility radeon works fine).
Cannot install the original ATI drivers on an easy path because this drivers don t support protection against overheating. Toshiba GPU drivers are slightly modified and support a protection against overheating. This protection is necessary and important as mobile graphics cards do not have large module of cooling as the GPU on to desktop computers.
Temperature increases on the much faster laptops and so the driver graphic control performance of the GPU to reduce the internal temperature. That's why it of always advised and recommended to use the Toshiba drivers ;)

Satellite L20 - 101 - Sound driver causes blue screen
1. my laptop is a Satellite L20-101. It worked fine until yesterday when I reinstalled the system (from recovery cd) after 3 years. I have updated the bios to version 1.70 (drawn from the toshiba site). Devices audio conexant could not be recognized, and if I run the installation of the latest audio drivers (sound-20080604145033), it fixes the problem, but when you restart the system and login as administrator I get a blue screen. Any help pls?
2. given that the LAN card is working, there is a message for the installation of a driver for a network device!
3. when the system starts up, I get an error 0 x 57 for toshiba power saver. Even when I reinstalled ver 7.03.02.I from toshiba Web site the problem remains.
Thanks in advance
MaxcoHi maxco,.
About its pilot I n don't know why you're getting a blue screen with the latest version, but I advise to use the preinstalled version of Toshiba recovery disc. So try a point-to-point previous system restore.
Driver LAN and Toshiba Power Saver, you can download from the official site. Relocation of these tools should work!

Satellite A210: Random Questions after several blue screens
This morning at the College, I started my laptop (satellite A210)
After entering the password started... after 5 seconds, I got a blue screen SHORT (3 seconds)... This can happen 5 times...
then I was really p * ssed - I booted in safe mode... do you have a system recovery (in German "systemwiederherstellung")
After doing that my laptop has begun... but now begins the horor1 Explorer.exe crash so that start up - so I have to start explorer.exe mauel with the Task Manager
2. with this also sidebar, bar SCROLLING-option AND the menu upwards on the screen... you know... the one you get with the pointer on... then it appears and you can select things like brightness, volume or energysafeoptions...
3. opening a folder takes almost 1 minute to show its files... (totally slow!)I ran TuneUp2008, O & O Defrag 10-Prof. and also ESET NOD32 Antivirus with the new definition (found nothing).

Satellite L505-10Z started giving a blue screen
Hello
After nearly a year of wonderful performance of my laptop started giving me a blue screen saying a software failure, in any case, I decided to clean install it.
Apparently, the recovery disk supplied with the system was a 32 bit disc, so now that I spent and bought a 64 bit W7 Home permium.
I need some advice on the path of the installation.
-is it possible that I have first to clean install with CD 32-bit and then improve it later with the 64 bit
or
-as I have downloaded all the drivers from the website, can I start the installation immediately with the 64-bit W7 Home Premium?Help, please
According to specification for laptop, that your laptop is shipped with WIN7 64 BITS Home PREMIUM & 32 BIT DVD so I put t understand why you didn't create DVD recovery for the 64-bit version, as described in the user s manuals document you have with your laptop.
Now, you have spent money for disk even if you got 64 bit with your laptop (recovery image).
Anyway, you cannot install 32 bit and upgrade to the 64-bit version. You must bring the new installation of the OS. Use your new drive and install Win7 64-bit.
After doing this the installation of drivers, tools and utilities as follows:
Windows 7 64 bit
Chipset SW installation utility
LAN driver
TOSHIBA HDD_SSD alert
TOSHIBA Assist
TOSHIBA Extended Tiles for Windows Mobility Center

Satellite A50-109: after RAM upgrade->; blue screen
Hi all
I bought a new patriot 1 GB ram sodimm pc 2700 as an upgrade to my satellite a50-109. After installation of the equipment on the back of the laptop, I had some problems with windows xp bsod (blue screen of death). Errors 0x000000e8. After recording with microsoft, I had to reinstall the drivers... Can someone help me please!
Thank you
AlexIt seems that you are using a module of memory without a name. These modules can malfunction. It s nothing unusual.
So I use and always buy modules memory Kingston or Infineon brand, for example.
I have goggled autour and actually ntfs.sys error might have something to do with the fault memory.
It s whatever the module has been properly recognized in the BIOS. Certain areas of memory may malfunctionIn my opinion, you should check if the laptop will be functions correctly with the modules of memory recommended by Toshiba
