• Satellite A660 - Webcam does not work when using Skype

  I recently bought a Satellite A660-15J. I am running Windows 7 64 bit.

  My screen on the laptop does not work correctly. He sometimes starts to white and becomes inadmissible. I followed the problem down, I think of what I can only describe as a fluorescent light ballast in the upper left of the screen (when looking from the front).   If the part is attached to the screen, then you will need to replace the LCD screen, or ask someone to fix it if possible.

  You can not buy the different parts of a strainer.

  If you are referring to the wiring harness/LCD screen, then you can buy a replacement at a cheap price. They are not expensive.

  Please reinstall the Wlana driver and try again. (Do not to update to uninstall the old driver, restart the device and install the new drivers)

  In the BIOS update package is a readme text file so first read this.

  If you cannot switch back to the display of s for laptop using FN + F5 I m afraid there is a hardware problem.

  I guess for now, you get only a screen empty and nothing happens on your laptop?

  In this case, you should contact the closest service provider authorized in your country. Just get in touch with the guys and ask for help. They can check the cell phone and fix it! ;)

  Connect it to the TV and wait until Windows 7 is fully loaded (you will hear sound Win) than trying to use FN + F5 several times. It may happen on the TV Office. Be sure you use the right settings on the TV (HDMI port must be enabled on the right).

  Looks like Windows is damaged. I would run Recovery by pressing zero during power on. Backup your data first, because the rags for HARD drive recovery.

• Qosmio DX730 and Win8 - touch screen does not work

  My wife's parents bought a Toshiba Qosmio DX730 (model PQQ11A). They have recently upgraded to Windows 8 and the touch screen does not work now.

  The problem is lack of drivers (the monitor driver reports as a generic PnP monitor).

  I have went on the Toshiba site and selected downloads driver for the appropriate model and installed a number of drivers, including recommended NVidia display drivers. There is no drivers on the site that seem to install support for Toshiba touchscreen.

  Are there no drivers available for this model Windows 8? If not, is there another solution? If Yes, where can I find them. Any help very appreciated because they have nice and bought computer Windows 8 so they could use the touch functions.
