    PLEASE, I BEG YOU.

    Sounds like a hardware problem.
Try to configure the computer laptop back to factory settings. I guess you have to use an external USB keyboard in case the internal keyboard does not work.

  • Satellite A500-1F7 - Touchpad has stopped working

Hello, my touchpad does not work.

Yes its possible, I updated and reinstalled the driver. It actually worked for a few seconds and then stopped again.

    Hope you can help me.
    Thanks and greetings

    Hello

The touchpad does appear in Device Manager correctly or you see a yellow exclamation point?
    What operating system you have?

And have you tested an external mouse? It does not work or shows the same strange behavior?

Theoretically worse that the touchpad could be faulty and needs replacing in such cases, an ASP would help you.

  • Tecra A8 - Touchpad has stopped working

    Hi all!

I have a Tecra A8 (model: PTA83E) who has an ALPS touchpad. The touchpad has stopped working even if it is visible and fully operational in 'Device Manager' and also the 'Control Panel '. Apparently there is nothing wrong with it but the touchpad does not meet the clicks or touchs, it seems as if it has been disabled, but said, in Device Manager, the information is 'this device is functioning.

I updated the OS to Windows 7 Enterprise and I would like to activate the touchpad if not I should always use a usb mouse. I searched the touchpad drivers but it seems they are Don t.

This is the information that I can view in "Device Manager", about the pilot:
    -Controller version: 7.0.302.3
    -Date: 26/09/2006

    Thanks to you all.

    Hello

You have activated the touchad by pressing FN + F9?

The laptop Toshiba Satellite L850/046 - keyboard has stopped working.
Have restarted. In the box of charms, it seems ghost.

Impossible to restore or reset as it asks password and keyboard does not work

    Hello Graham

Sorry, but your problem is not easy to understand. After reading these two sentences, it is not easy to tell if there is a general problem with the keyboard or what.
When you enter the BIOS settings can use keyboard to scroll through the options and tabs of the BIOS?

Since when did you notice this problem?
You have created a recovery media? If Yes, please try to use it and install original recovery image.
