Satellite C50 - A - 15 L: unable to play audio or video via the media player

Hi all

I have problems with my player functions and media browser suddenly - it seems to have taken place after a "significant recent update" (causes more problems than the patches).

In any case, since this update, I was unable to play video or audio files using the media player or cut and paste all the items when sorting of files.

All very well before, but now when I pointed out and click "cut", the timer of the cuts and the window goes right to the "not responding". Drag and drop works OK, then go back to delete files.

Regarding the multimedia files, double-click one and no response, click 'open' and right, once again, nothing...

    I use Win 7 with Windows Media Player 12 and when I try to play a Flip Video camcorder, which is an MPEG-4 format, I get the error "Windows Media Player has encountered a problem while playing the file."

    I then help the option to select Web and it takes me a Microsoft page that describes the C00D11B1 error code.  Who has no sense to me because it speaks to my sound card and I can't read thie videos no problem via the Flip Video software supplied with the camcorder.

    I was under the impression that WMP 12 taken supported MPEG-4.  Also get the Error tyring to play videos through Media Center.   Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I use Win 7 7600 version 6.1

    I guess that the Flip Video software used a codec that is not Media Player. I was looking at the setting for the camera to see if it will save in another format.

    Is this music that you purchased and you're trying to add directly to Windows Media Player? You are able to add the files to the music library and then access the Windows Media Player library?

    1. Click on the file icon on the taskbar
    2. Select music
    3. Copy / paste the files in the library
    4. Open Windows Media Player
    5. Click music
