Satellite C50 - Qualcomm Atheros AR956x driver /wifi fall

My Tosh c50 with Qualcomm Atheros AR956x adapter keeps dropping its connection with the blank superhub.

The most recent drivers have been installed through Microsoft update, after the win8.1 upgrade.
Queries of blank media if the pilots were from Atheros.

Where on qualcom or Atheros can I have the latest OFFICIAL drivers?
The laptop is fine with the Ethernet cable.
In SIDDer allows to check the channels and power.

It's very frustrating as just cannot be used for banking, shopping, the connection is lost.

See you soon

The Atheros WLan driver for your laptop model can be downloaded from the Toshiba driver page.

But the fall of connection Wlan has not must be linked to the WLan driver.
The question appears using the power of battery or as then as the connection?

Have you tested different WLan (802.11 A B G N) standards?
What about WiFi encryption?
He doesn't interrupt the connection using a combination of different (WPA/WPA2 AES, TKIP) or connect to open WiFi?

    Hello

Found some details about this Intel WLan card on the page of Intel:
    http://Ark.Intel.com/products/75439/Intel-dual-band-wireless-AC-7260

+ Board form factor: half a PCIe card Mini / m2 (NGFF).

As far as I know the WLan module that is built into the laptop supports Mini-PCI card format.
So, you have a miniPCI module.
But you should consider BIOS support. Not all wireless network cards could be supported by the BIOS.

  • Satellite L350 - Wlan Atheros AR9281 driver for Win XP

    Hello

I just bought a Satellite L350 PSLD0C 03N08C. It's a Canadian laptop and it came with Vista. I couldn't find any good laptops with Windows XP so I decided to buy this model and it downgrade (seeing that * Toshiba Europe * had xp drivers). Everything was good XP (no need to diskette) installation, I also installed all drivers except one: the driver lan / wireless - Atheros AR9281

I projected print Vista Device Manager before I decided to downgrade just in case I would have problems like this. Here is the screenshot:

    http://img521.imageshack.us/my.php?image=devicemanager1pz3.jpg

Here are the specifications of my laptop by the way: art http://www.toshiba.ca/web/product.grp?lg=en§ion=1&group=1&product=8193&p = 8282 #spectop

I called Toshiba Canada and I had used: "We do not downgrade from Vista" excuse. They have only Vista drivers on their website.

I tried to find the driver on google and it's the only link I could find:http://www.atheros.cz/download.php?atheros=AR9281&system=1

The problem is that the zip file that they allow you to download only a .sys file and 2 other files that I don't see how they could be used.

Please help me, I don't really want to put Vista on. I might as well go without a LAN/Internet on it.

I also noticed that the driver of Web cam didn't work at all. He told me that the driver could not load. So I downloaded the older version which is available and IT WORKED!
(I just wrote this in case someone is using the search function on the same issue. webcam * I installed all the drivers are of the Toshiba Europe y http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp)

    * P.S. Common Modules driver isn't working either.*

    * EDIT: I have it RESOLVED WITH CE* http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/?page=downloads ! Thank you so much for this thread Andrej: http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=37410&tstart=0

Even if the pilot does not say what card it is, he acknowledged my XP on my laptop and internet works fine.

The diver of common Modules still does not work. I will edit if I fix it before someone answers. How it does not work is because when I try to install Toshiba controls it tells me that "TOSHIBA common Modules is not installed on your computer. I can go on, but it does not (obviously).
    * If the only problem remains for me to fix and finish my downgrade becomes the FN key or special keys of recherche.*

Great news. The WiFi network works!

  • Connection in the process of re-emergence/disappearance-limited Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 Driver

I have googled and looked in the forums of microsoft for 4 hours in the last few days without solving this problem.

Card WiFi of my asus laptop is in the title.  Constantly, he disappears from the Device Manager page and will reappear at random.  When he comes back, and I'm trying to connect to the internet, it is momentarily but then goes limited and then disappears if I disconnect my wifi network.  According to me, it says Code 12 is the limiting factor, and after looking around, I have not found a solution here either.

I've removed, reinstalled, disabled and re-enabled the pilot.

I deleted the ethernet driver and reinstalled that as well.

I tried all of the solutions that has developed on google (there were 5 or 6 different things, I don't remember...)

The update of windows alone is KB3000850 - 700 + MB.  I tried to download this 4 times and it never goes from 0% defect free.  I'm not sure that this is my problem because I had wifi sporatically last week and yesterday my wifi worked for 5 hours.  He only stopped when I decided to start my homework online (lucky me).

I'm certainly not to post on the forums to help because I will more than likely find a solution online first, but it has left speechless me and I can't really afford to let this problem persists longer.

    Thank you

    Scott

It turns out that the chip atheros in my laptop is fried.  I guess it is to walk in and out of the school building when it was 0 degrees outside and sometimes leave in the car by this time.  I had a little usb wifi adapter and it works great.  Will look for a better and longer lasting laptop in July.

  • A WI - FI connection does not work on Satellite C50-A-179

    Hi all!

I am owner of laptop Toshiba Satellite A-C50-179 (PSCGAE) with Windows 8, and recently I tried to install Connectify on it.

However, Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter was missing on the laptop and given this Connectify couldn't work. I tried to activate/install somehow using advice found on the internet. The suggestion was to reinstall the driver for the wireless adapter.

    I uninstalled the driver original and reinstalled again after you download from Toshiba Web site ([here | http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_driver_details.jsp?service=EU&selCategory = 2 & selFamily = 2 & selSeries = 312 & selProduct = 7934 & selSh ortMod = 3969 & language = 13 & selOS = 40 & selType = 97 & yearup load = & monthupload = & dayupload = & useDate = null & mode = al lMachines & search = & action = search & macId = & country = all & selectedLanguage = 13 & type = 97 & page = 1 & ID = 86778 & DISO = 40 & driverLanguage = 42])

I'm sure that I downloaded and installed the right driver for the right card that is "Qualcomm Atheros AR956x Wireless Network Adapter". I made prior to installation to verify all the information on the adapter and the driver.

However, after the relocation wifi stopped working completely:

    -l' icon/network adapter wireless connection 'Control of the network connections and Internet\Network' is there but it does not behave as it should, it looks like a generic and not specific to a network connection icon - basically, it does not represent the actual adapter and got the name of it in the note;

    WiFi - option in Windows 8 settings menu-changes PC network settings has completely disappeared (bluetooth option is still there and so is the flight mode option);

-wifi can be turned on by pressing on activate in the menu of RIGH click that generic network connection I mentioned, but it will not pick up any signal and will find all the same connections so it is certainly.

There is no yellow exclamation point in Device Manager list and the wireless adapter is thus, to act and to pretend as if everything is fine and working properly.

I tried troubleshooting, installing the driver using Windows Update, the installation and update of its properties menu driver in Device Manager and all kinds of things like that, but none of this has helped and wifi still doesn't work.

Basically, the laptop seems to think that the adapter is not working properly and everything is fine HW and SW wise, but in reality it is not. I don't really know what I should try, I don't want to reinstall the entire operating system, because I'm afraid (or I) would mess everything up even more (wasting yet more pilots).

I'm running on a cable internet connection now, and I'm happy it's working (I really need the laptop for work and I can't afford to lose for a day, not to mention some more)

    Could someone help me please?
Any ideas how to solve this problem and make the wifi working again?
I will be really grateful for any advice.

    Thank you, Miko31.

Problem is that Toshiba does not support the third party software and if the problem occurred after installing Connectify you should contact support and ask for help. I mean they know how their software works and perhaps a workaround solution that can help you.

This software is not known to me, but I can imagine there are now a few conflicts. What should do? It is not easy to say. Try to remove the preinstalled software and clean the registry entries.

In the worst case, you must reinstall OS and reuse for laptop with factory settings.

  • Satellite C50 - can't activate Bluetooth!

    I just bought a laptop Satellite C50 64-bit with windows pre-installed 8.1.
According to the specifications of the product, it has integrated bluetooth (using the Qualcomm Atheros AR956x Wireless Network Adapter?) But I can't find a way to activate. I've been in PC configuration-> PC and peripherals, but bluetooth is not listed there.

However, in flight Mode I have seen bluetooth with a slide on/off switch button but it is grayed out so I can't activate it. What can I do now? Help, please. I'm desperate. Would be very grateful for any * I can follow simple instructions - I'm not a geek!

    Thank you.

Before you begin to discuss your problem can you please post the exact model name or the full model number so that we can check the specifications for your model of laptop.

  • Touchpad and sleep questions on Satellite C50-A-1DV

I bought a Satellite C50-A-1DV for my wife and noted 2 significant 'features' that, to all purposes intention should be easily solved, but I'm damned if I can cure for her.

1 the touchpad (at least, I assume it is the touchpad) seems incredibly sensitive. Supervised, another workspace (Windows 8) seem to open even without direct contact with the pad. It's really very annoying, but it's pretty much within the limits to be able to live with it.

2nd machine is unexpected drops in a sleep/power saving mode. Now personally I have not met this when running through controls on it, but the pain in my ear tells me otherwise.

Anyone else experienced this or better yet have a solution to this?

Changes to the touchpad can be applied very easily:
Go to control panel-> mouse control
Last tab device settings would offer you some additional options to enhance the functionality of the touchpad.

Take a look at this Toshiba HowTo doc on the touchpad settings. It should be useful for you:
[How do I change the settings of the Synaptics touchpad in Windows 8? | http://APS2.Toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD3101Z30000R01.htm]

Well, you could disable or change the settings of the unique power of the Panel-> power options.
You will find the option for standby and hibernation

I just got a laptop HP 2000-2b43dx last month and had no problem with the connection before fall, but here for the past week or so she did it a lot. It starts to get boring, that's why I'm here.

If I close my laptop and open it again it will be disconnected and I have to reconnect manually even if I have the settings in automatic mode.
And every now and then it disconnects randomly, and I have to reconnect again. It's really annoying when you try to play a game and you get kicked out of a game because of that.
