Satellite C50Dt-B-107 stops unexpectedly

My toshiba C50dt_B_107 is only 6weeks old. He has the habit of closing without any warning. Last night, now I can not access PIN. Says I'm wrong entered several times? Any ideas how I can get it working thank you

It looks like it may be overheating. Is there dust in the heat sink?
Try to blow off the dust with compressed air.

    I agree with you.
I think that it is an overheating related problem.

You can try to resolve this cleaning the cooling fans. I clean my cooling modules from time to time using the jet of compressed air.

The dust and debris that may affect the flow of air for fans of cleaning could you help to untangle this annoying problem.

    Hello

If I were you I would wear the machine and the mains adapter to the nearest local service partner because this looks like a serious hardware problem.

I think it has something to do with the power subsystem and a technician must check your hardware on likely hardware failures.
To find the following service partner, you can watch here:

  • I installed a Dell OS disk on my Satellite Pro L350-107

Call me a fool, but I don't know much about drivers or install vista.

I'll tell you guys everything in order to make as much sense as possible:

I was just looking on my Toshiba Satellite Pro L350-107, a. MKV file on a program called "Zoom Player", it arises abruptly saying "zoom player has stopped working. So I clicked the pop-up on X but my laptop crashed and I had to power off button power holding down for 5 seconds.

After this incident, I turned on the laptop back, everything was normal until about two minutes to check in, everything froze again and again and again until I gave up on it. The next morning, I discovered that my father has managed to use the account invited without problems, so instantly, I logged into my account to see pop ups like "flash cards stopped working" and anything associated with toshiba to crash, but I could always use internet.

I decided to do a system restore, after 2 failed attempts I finally restored my laptop to the earliest date, and everything was fine until about an hour into the laptop, it would crash like what I explained above.

Then my father got a copy of mcafee, and we were looking for viruses, at halfway of the analysis, it found 2 Trojan horses, but crashed in the middle of the overall analysis. Now, here's the real problem...

I got an operating system disk, due to the fact that I thought he was just install vista again, I formatted the hard drive to the L350 - 107 and proceeded with the installation, but I had to install second hard disk, because on the c / reader could not. After intall vista was full, I wanted to check what are the components, but the operating drive was a dell disk use and now think that it is a dell. Now the screen is stuck on a screen of 32-bit and none of the pilot are related, due to them being drivers toshiba not dell.

I tried looking for drivers and sought a downloadable operating system disk, but nothing has worked, toshiba stopped giving an operating with their laptops drive (so I heard).

Please, someone help me! AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!

  • Recently upgraded to El Capitan, I had that problem for Mail stop unexpectedly when I saw some posts.  I followed the steps and was able to remove the trouble messages.   Now I can't restore the mail window message viewer component.

Recently upgraded to El Capitan, I had that problem for Mail stop unexpectedly when I saw some posts.  I followed the steps and was able to remove the trouble messages.   Now I can't restore the mail window message viewer component.  When I try to catch the separator bar to go back to the left, only half of the small arrow icon and line appears, and it cannot be moved.   Can open the message by double clicking a message viewer.

    Hi there, alicefrompa!

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. From your post, I understand that you do not see the Message Viewer box which allows you to read your e-mails; only see you the Inbox that includes a brief overview of the message and are unable to restore access using the separator bars. I have had this happen to my own Mail app and am happy to let you know how I could fix!

You are really on the right track - you want to roll your mouse over the divider between the Inbox and sections Message Viewer (which should now be on the extreme right edge of your mail window) and drag it to the left.  When you click on the receipt/Message Viewer box, the cursor turns into a line continuous black with a single arrow pointing to the left. When you see the cursor change, click with the left button of the mouse and (while holding down the mouse button in) drag the combination line / arrow to the left. You may need to drag a little further than before to get it. I had to hang mine almost completely in the middle of my Mail app before the display of the message box appeared.

From there, you should be able to adjust the boxes to your widths you want as expected.

If you are still not able to get the display of the messages visible after have try this, here are a few more things that you can do.

    1. Press command + O on your keyboard.
    2. Exit the Mail application, and then press on and hold the SHIFT key on your keyboard while reopening.
    3. Restart your Mac by selecting the menu  Apple in the upper right of your screen restart from the menu drop down.

  • Prerequisites for the replacement of Windows XP for Satellite Pro A120-107

I don't know that it will have been asked before, however...

I received a Satellite Pro A120-107 XP. Because XP is not supported, I would like to upgrade to Windows 7, 8 or 8.1. Who should I go for?

I think I need to improve my memory (currently 512 MB) at least 1 GB. Or should I go to 2 GB. Which would be better?

And I need a BIOS upgrade? He is currently using vn 1.50 08/24/2006. If I do, what version?

In your case, I'll try to install Win 7 on this good old classic.

8.1 Win is the latest system from Microsoft but I'm afraid, you will have some problems with drivers m.

Win 7 would be the best choice in this case

  • AC100 - the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly

Our AC100 suffers from frequent and annoying messages: the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly (well it is said in Dutch, so I hope that the translation is good). After googeling I found many people with the same problems (but for other devices as a computer of Toshiba), and it seems that the only solution is to reset the original settings (after having a back-up).

But since everything downloaded widgets and applications will be gone then, I'm looking for another option. Does anyone have any experience with this message? How you solve the problem?

And who knows how starts this problems?

    Hello

I also recommend the return parameter of the Android to the factory settings. The widget could be saved on external source before setting the notebook to factory settings.

  • Speed-Up Satellite C70D-A-107

I have a C70D-A-107 and want to speed up this laptop. Already placed 4 GB of additional memory for the laptop has now 8 GB internal. I doubt if it is useful to 2x8gb. I think that the processor is just to slow down. It has an E1-2100 AMD inside. Is it possible to put in another (faster) processor?

Satellite C70D-A-107 has been fitted to an Essentials E1-2100 acceleration (1.00 GHz, 1 MB Cache L2) AMD CPUS
It is not the fastest CPU thats why the performance of the laptop is not the best...

But upgrading the CPU is not officially supported by the laptop manufacturer... so I don't think that you will be able to upgrade the processor...

I read about the successful Intel processor upgrades but did not meet someone who was capable of performing an upgrade with an AMD processor

  • Re: Satellite M70 - random hard stops

Every now and then, after the computer has been for several hours (4-8), the computer stops unexpectedly.
By looking at the LED lights, none are on. By pressing the button Power does nothing.

After waiting one minute, take the AC cable and put it back in, the lights come on and things still work for an hour or two, and then it stops again. I am running WinXP.

    Hello

I think that the laptop could turns off automatically due to a higher internal temperature.
For the most part a higher temperature causes these questions.

Temperature increases, because the fans cannot work and cool the rooms with better performance. Why?
Well, in most cases dust prevents the cooling fans.

You can try to remove dust using the can of compressed air. This spray is a good cleaning tool and can be purchased from dealers of computer/laptop.

  • Satellite L850 - webcam suddenly stopped working

The web cam on my Satellite L850 has suddenly stopped working.

    It does not appear in Device Manager;
    I downloaded the latest driver on the Toshiba site;
    I checked the BIOS and the web cam is turned on;
Always when I open the web cam application I get the following message:

"webcam initialization failed Please restart request and camera control.

I scoured the advice forum and short of a return to the top and reboot disk HARD, I find no reasonable answer. I can't back up as I am away from home is out of the question. I need web conference call cam / call my family to the United Kingdom back.

Tired of going round in circles and getting nowhere.

    Any suggestions?

    Post edited by: mrclean

Even if you have not changed the settings in the BIOS, you must Access the BIOS to make sure that the webcam is turned on it!

I also recommend the suite of this workaround:
    Uninstall the webcam software
    Uninstall the VAP
Uninstall all software needed the webcam (Skype, etc...)
Now, restart and install CCLeaner (cleaning of freeware software)
    Reboot once more.
Run CCleaner and clean the system and the registry.
    Reset
Now follow with installation of VAP
    Reset
    Install the webcam software
    Reset
    Test webcam.

    Good luck

  • CD/DVD-Rom on a Satellite 1110 laptop has stopped working

    Hello

The CD/DVD-Rom on my satellite 1110 has suddenly stopped working. When I insert a cd or a dvd there is no activity in the drive and when I look in my computer there is no recognized files.

I used the Device Manager and it says that the device is working normally. It's like the PC just can't 'see' the camera more.

I used the program of troubleshooting without success and I was wondering if someone technically a little more spirit that had me ideas

  • Satellite Pro A210 periodically stop the monitor

Hi, my computer laptop Satellite Pro A210 periodically stop his monitor. I can work now what, whether it seems no matter what I do, the monitor turns off just.
I checked the Device Manager and there is no device showing conflict. I bought the new laptop about six weeks ago and it is very annoying that it does. Anyone had similar problems with their A210?

I contacted Toshiba and I hope that they will be committed to fix my laptop.

    Thank you.

This is very interesting thread because I m the owner of a Satellite A210 with dual OS (Vista and XP) and didn t notice such problem with XP or Vista.

Of course, the screen goes black after a while but this is related to my energy saving settings. I ve set the power of my wide display settings to save power while working on the battery.

I don't know if this could be the reason for your question, but it's certainly an option m.

You can also try to update the BIOS and the graphics driver to check if it would help solve the problem you also.

    Good luck to you

  • com Motorola.service.main stopped unexpectedly - loop

My Atrix has the last applied update and started recently showing the following error message:

    "com.motorola.service.main stopped unexpectedly".

Ok button returns to the screen for 1 second and the error reappears. This makes the phone unusable.

I did a factory reset and the error was absent for 24 hours, but now it has reappeared.

Any thoughts on how I might be able to solve this problem?

    David

I am not sure what the problem was, but here's how I fixed it:

    -Backup if possible

    -Reset

-Create a new account of blur with another email address

I suspect it's something blur associated account.

    I hope this helps.

  • Windows XP stops unexpectedly

My laptop stops unexpectedly, generally during the night when it has not been used for a long time.  I suspect a heat problem, but after taking measures to keep as cool as possible, it remains off.  I use Avast! and have run Spybot-Search & Destroy, and Malware Bytes in order to detect and eliminate viruses.  I am running XP Pro SP3.  What does my laptop stop?  And what I can do to remove this action?

We can look in your event log viewer to see the cause.

Please provide us with your administrative Event Viewer logs by following these steps:

    Click on Start Menu
Type eventvwr in the find programs and files (do not hit enter)
Click with the right button on eventvwr.exe and click Run as administrator
    Expand custom views
    Click the administrative events
    Right-click Administrative events
Record all events in custom view as...
Save them to a folder where you will remember which folder and save it as Errors.evtx
    Go where you saved Errors.evtx
Make a right click Errors.evtx-> send to compressed (zipped) folder of->
Download the .zip to skydrive or a file sharing service file
