Satellite C55-B5170 - graphics issue when you play

I recently bought my Satellite (C55-B5170) and started to install applications of my previous laptop. However, when I went to try to play a game, I found that the graphics have been pixelated/blocks. This happened with almost all of the games I've tried. All my drivers are up to date, and I have not seen this problem on another thread.

EDIT: Minecraft, a game quite simply, is broken (similar to the image provided). However, the Lego game worlds newly released works very well.

It is not easy to say why this is happening. Mobile OK is probably clean but also fat exchanged CPU. I mean, I've seen on several old notebooks when the CPU has been removed and the thermal grease was just dry. Maybe reached CPU temperature critical and laptop turns off automatically.
Or is this really the software problem.
Have you noticed what games only?

I m pretty new to laptops and so I put t know much about them, this looks like a good place to come however from the answers. Well, my problem is that when you try to play the DVD or CD, even for those who rely on the laptop there is no sound. The speakers work because I ve checked, but if I wanted to play an audio Cd or a DVD in windows media how to activate the sound? Everything works great on my regular computer.
I would be grateful for answers.

In Control Panel, you can find the sound and Audio devices. Here, you can change the settings to different controls. Check if the mute option on Audio CD control is not marked.

L50-B-1 p 1 satellite graphical artifacts when you play.

Bought a refurbished Satellite P L50-B-1 1 almost 3 weeks (20 days to be precise).
At startup, the laptop preform as expected, however if left running for a period of time and you can start any application that allows the secondary GPU, AMD Radeon R7 M260 in this case, some graphical artifacts vertical are present.
The only way to get past this is to do a windows restarts.
GPU drivers have been updated and all the other drivers and BIOS.
Don't think that it is associated with temperature, such as in most of the cases the laptop remained idle.
Any ideas or advice on this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried to test with external display or TV? It would be interesting to know if this problem is visible on internal or external display as well.

Preformance issues when you play on my Qosimo x 770

I have problems of preformance by playing newer games on my Toshiba Qosmio x 770. Basically, everything works fine the first 30 to 45 minutes of play, but I'm suddenly start getting the temporary fall FPS, which usually lasts from 20 to 60 seconds before everything goes back to normal. The FPS fall occurs more frequently then the more I play, and eventuelly it comes to a point where I can't find it pleasant at all to continue playing. So far, this has happened when the game like Diablo 3, Max Payne 3 and Star Wars: The Old Republic.
My suspicion is that my (Gefore GTX 560 M) graphics card gets overheated as the computer gets very hot. Case of overheating, I think that the clocks autoamtically graphics card down, that eventuelly causes my FPS drops.
I thought that the updated for my video card drivers would solve this problem, but they don't have. (I'm running with the latest 301,42 downloaded from the Nvidias homepage). I even bought an external laptop cooler to better manage the temperature, but the only thing it does is to buy me another 5-10 minutes of play before the start of the late development.
I'm not good with computers in some way, but I really want to get my money's worth when playing computer games. What could I do to fix this? Any help would be much apprecited.

Satellite M500 - Mouse pointer disappears when you play games online
I have a brand new, custom configured M500 form Toshiba. It has Windows 7 Professional Enterprise, 64-bit edition. Everything worked great until I spent a lot of money on the game Star Trek Online. When I go in the game, the mouse pointer disappears. I can see on the screen change action items when the mouse hover over them but no pointer. It makes the game difficult. Then I tried another game online, Free Realms, and I have the same problem.
I use a Logitech V220 Wireless mouse. I uninstalled the Logitech driver to see if that was the issue. I allowed Windows to use the default driver provided with the system. It does not work.
I called Toshiba and they had me remove the device and selected Windows generic driver for that. It works no more. The guy on the line said it would enter my service call and that she would go to a senior technician and they would call me within 24 hours. It has been two weeks and not a glance.
Anyone else has this problem or know of any other way I can try to solve it?

To me that sounds like this, there is a problem (incompatibility) between this online game and your external mouse...
In your case I remove the mouse and uninstall the driver. Run CCleaner to clean the registry. Now try the touchpad online.More update the display and DirectX as Al - eX driver already written.

I don't know m but AFAIK the IGPXPXD32. DLL is part of the Intel display driver. This suggests that there may be something wrong with this driver.
In your case I would remove the old driver, restart the computer and install the latest version from the Toshiba site:

It's very easy.
Right click on the desktop and select Nvidia Control Panel
In Nvidia Control Panel on the left choose 3D-> set PhysX configuration settingsNow in the main window, select a PhysX processor you can choose between Nvidia Gforce, Intel GPU (part of the CPU) or Auto Select.
In case you want to use only nVidia GPU, choose Nvidia Gforce
In case you want to use only Intel GPU, choose CPU
Apply the settingsThen click on manage 3D settings and here in the main window, you will see two tabs: global settings and the settings of the program.
In the global settings tab, you can choose the favorite graphics processor.

Problems of keyb/mouse on A30 - 921 reactions when you play
OK, pretty much since I have received this laptop I had a problem with the keyboard or mouse when you play. Everything works very well, and adults in general unless you're gaming.
The keys in the game (say HL, HL2, Quake II, GTA, etc) are used to 'paste' in a direction for a second or more, or they have a slow reaction, as with mouse clicks. You could be market forward on the left and then hit to walk upright, but he would continue to walk forward and left for an extra second or two and then go right. Qosmio X 500 - blue screen or system crash when you play
I have problems with my new laptop.
The laptop is a week and I get frequent blue screen errors and system crashes when you play.
At this time I only tried to play a game: World of Warcraft.I have run on:

When you play Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 , my laptop Toshiba Satellite A215-4757 freezes (sometimes after about half an hour, or sometimes less than 5 minutes). The game has worked until I upgraded to Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (earlier version of windows: Vista Home Premium 32-bit .) As far as I know, all my drivers are updated and regular, programs such as Firefox and Outlook will work perfectly. I'm not sure my other full-screen games, as I have not tried to play them again.
I have the game in compatibility mode for XP SP2, but before that I did, the same error occurred.
The error when I finally force close and turn on the computer named blue screen (although when the computer froze, there was no blue screen, just the image of the frozen game, and the sound was still running like nothing happened.) I don't remember the other information contained in the error.
Chronology of the error:
- I opened the game and it loads fine.
- I go through the menus and select the park that I want to play and it loads fine.
- I'll be working or seeking / everything I do at the Park, when suddenly it freezes.
- I turned off the computer and turn it back on.
- Startup takes a little longer than normal.
- Windows opens the error message (which I don't remember the details.)
More precisely what I mean by freeze (obvious, maybe, but just try to be specific as possible):
- No mice.
- Without ctrl alt del ability.
- No capacity alt tab.
- No windows key capability.
- Necessary to force to stop with the button on the computer.

Unfortunately, Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 is not compatible with Windows 7. You must have the Windows xp mode in order to install and run it.

BSOD on dxgmms1 when you play using 8 GB of ram. Solid running 4 GB.
Hi allI just built a brand new when computer a new installation of Windows 7 Edition Ultimate 64 bit. This computer has never had any other OS on it.
I'm having a problem when you play Dragon Age Origins that the computer with BSOD when I have 8 GB of ram in the computer. With only 4 GB, the computer is solid as a rock.
I tested the ram in Memtest86 from one day to the next without any problem. I tried different sets of 4 GB and they all work very well. The problem is when I try to use 8 GB.
My computer has the following:
AMD Phenom II X 4 965
8 GB OCZ Black Edition DDR3-1600
Card Gigabyte mother
XFX Radeon 5870

I suggest you to perform a clean boot and see if all the third-party applications is in conflict with the performance of the game.
To perform a clean boot on a computer that is running Windows 7, follow these steps.
1. click on start, type msconfig in the search box and press ENTER.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
3. under Selective startup, clear the check box load startup items.
4. click on the Services tab, select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then click Disable all.
5. click on OK.
6. When you are prompted, click on restart.
7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.
If your issue is resolved, follow the how to determine what is causing the problem section in KB article to narrow down the exact source.

It seems that the issue could be with the file to install the game. I suggest you to uninstall the game and then get the new installation disc. Reinstall the game using the new drive and see if that fixes the problem.
