  Toshiba Satellite C660 1F1 my son with Windows 7 Home Preium will not run Minecraft and creates a dump of notification and error with Java runtime environment.

  Yesterday, I wiped the laptop with the recovery disk and installed all the latest drivers etc for a clean system as it has been very slow. I was hoping that this may have erased the old problem.

  I downloaded the latest version of Java, tried the 64-bit version as the Lpatop seems to be running a 64 bit OS, but I don't think that browsers are Java 64 bit test did not work and also some of the most common suggestions on the bulletin boards Minecraft. such as:--

  It started with the yellow light flashing one a message "plugged in don't not load" it is now completely out of charge and fires almost every time that I try to start.

  If I remove the battery and use just electric 2 green lights come on but it cuts during the boot process too.

  Hmm... looks a bit like a motherboard problem.
  I think that the adapter is OK because the power led is lit if you plug the laptop on the sector...
  I'm not thinkt that the issue could be related to battery failure because if the battery would be affected, then the laptop must always run connected to the power adapter (in mains mode).

  So, it seems that the problem may be caused by dysfunction of the motherboard...

  A question: is your BIOS up-to-date?

  I got my new laptop for Christmas and a few days ago, HP support assistant told me that there was a Version "Intel high definition (HD) Graphics Driver Update": 10.18.15.4281Ep3. I downloaded the updated, but after that 4 attempts trying to install via HP support assistant I kept getting the same message "installation failed." Then, I went to my downloads through Explorer of files and found the downloaded file. When I click on the file it takes me to the Setup Wizard and I can start the installation, but about 2/3 of the way if the installation I get the same message "the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process" and then the installation completes without completing. I'm not sure how to find out which process is using the file or how to do the complete installation so I would really appreciate your help.

  Follow the steps below to uninstall the driver:

  1. Press the Windows key + R
  2. Type devmgmt.msc
  3. Press Ok
  4. Right-click on the graphics card and select Uninstall
  5. Restart the computer

  After the computer restarts, run the Windows Update and the last update will be installed.

  Hi guys, my first post here. I've upgraded to Windows 7 through HP. I downloaded the graphics driver latast Mobile Intel(r) 45 Express Chipset (8.15.10.1808A). It will not install on my machine.   Thank you Daniel for answering my message. While the NVIDIA GEFORCE driver is an option, my driver is INTEL (R). I have since solved the problem by installing the BIOS update. Then, I was able to successfully install the graphics driver updated. Thanks again.

  I have a Satellite C660-26z. I try to use Trimble/google sketchup (3d modeling program) but keep an error message "Bug splat."

  Google suggested that I up date my permit, when I try to update from Intel, I get an error message telling me it was modified by the Assembly of the computer and communicate with them.

  My driver is Intel(r) HD Graphics Version = 8.15.10.2189
  The program works fine on my other computer 5.

  We know that you can not use drivers provided by graphics card manufacturers. Not for laptops. Display drivers are changed by laptop manufacturers to provide the balance between performance and protection of the equipment.

  What you can try is to check if Toshiba offers a newer driver for new models of portable computers.
  Please check on the Toshiba download page - http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp
  If you can find new display drivers for:
  Satellite L775 (PSK6DE)
  Satellite R700 (PT314E)
  Satellite Pro U630 (PSK01E)

  New to this forum, so don't know if this has been covered.

  Have installed Photoshop elements 11 and Prime Minister 11.
  Elements of program works ok but cannot get the items first to open the new project. Adobe advises trying to update the drivers I have tried without success.

  When running driver update on the laptop, it says last driver installed. 8.15.10.2189
  On the site of Toshiba update, it shows the later version 8.15.10.2353.
  Have downloaded this, I then unzipped it and it says will when you have completed the automatic installation to start but nothing happens.

  I tried several times but once unzipped it will not be installed.

  Any help would be appreciated and infact confirmation of the latest driver.

  I want to upgrade my graphics accelerator driver that is Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family.
  On the Intel website, I found this accelerator and new driver for Win XP OS that has been released 31.3.2009, its version is 14.38.3.5047.

  Although I can not install it because this driver is not verified by Toshiba and the site Web of Toshiba is the driver who is one (of course I have it) year old. So, is a way to install the new driver from Intel or can you please this verified driver?

  BTW, if the latest drivers are more than a year, it does not resemble the good support.

  I m using Intel drivers too and I n t have a problem to install.

  If you have tried to install the driver through setup.exe, you should try manual in Device Manager. Right-click on the graphic card > driver update. Use the Advanced installation step and choose the driver directory yourself.

  Before installing the driver, you must remove the older version first, and then restart the laptop.

  Good bye
