  Also I get an exclamation with PCI device and Bus SMB controller in Device Manager. I tried following Chipset utility, but it did not work.

  The chipset driver is an ATI due to AMD CPU driver.

  Audio driver seems to be Realtek.

  I am trying to find the drivers for SM Bus controller and USB controller for the Pavilion P6 - 2307. If I go to download drivers and download updates, it does not install it. I run Windows 7 64 bit and I made sure I downloaded the correct drivers.

  At their launch, Windows 7 comes in asking if the run installation program correctly which means that somehow it didn't. It then asks if you want to run it in compatibility mode and if I say yes, nothing happens.

  Can you get it someone please let me know where I can find the correct drivers to make it work on Windows 7 64 bit.

I can't not find any associated USB drivers for this laptop and I am having a problem of not being able to find drivers fo the SM Bus controller and controller Universl Serial Bus (USB).   I've just installed WinXP on a R500 - this comes pre-installed with Vista, but it should support XP. (2716 CTO) The problem begins when I try to search him up on top of the base driver, 2716-CTO turns his back with "Product not found".

  Satellite P100-160, PSPAAE, 32-bit vista.

  Today, Aero is not working and not available in graphics properties. Later installed the site of Toshiba UK, 15.0.1.1114 Intel display driver. This version was actually older than my current driver but I thought that maybe she was the only availabel that it must be correct.

  The driver installation failed with an error (no details don't just "year error has occurred"). Now, I don't have aero and my screen resolution cannot be set above 1280 x 800 - 1440 x 900 is expected

  If Aero is not available I think that it s display driver problem

  In any case, did you remove the old display driver before installing a new? Go to Device Manager > right click on the graphics card > uninstall. After the restart the display driver must be uninstalled and you can start with the display driver installation.

  If you install drivers make sure you are logged in as administrator and antivirus/firewall is disabled. Reboot once again and you should be able to choose the native screen resolution now.

  I demoted Win8 to Win7on the C870D PSCBEE satellite. After so much success, both pilots are still missing:

  * SM-Bus-controller *.
  * Network controller *.

  _Effects: _

  -no available WLAN, my home network is not displayed, press F12 has no effect
  -no internet connection

  + Curious side effect: + I was able to connect to my home dsl / phone to to run my Windows Update.

  I already tried to install several drivers controller Toshiba drivers network on the theme section / WLAN.
  No effect.

  Who could help me? What stage is missing? Where can I find the drivers above?

  Here, I found the display driver for my laptop. It contains the required file of SM - BUS, too.
  In addition, section driver Toshiba offers the right WLAN driver.

• Missing satellite C870 - 11G - "SM BUS controller driver" for Win 7 64 bit

  After extensive research of the forums, I was unable to find a solution so far.

  A few months ago, after the demise of his previous Satellite, my friend has acquired a Satellite C870 - 11G on Windows 7 (64-bit).

  We have gradually been put back together, reload its data, re-installing of ZoneAlarm and AVG, Picassa & Office 365. Yesterday I went to re - install printer drivers, but before doing so checked Device Manager to see that the error "SM BUS controller driver is missing" was. Grrrrr...

  I tried to use system restore to return point of restoration of a restore point but that too now fails every time with error (0x80070005).

  Before we go again nuclear, anyone has any ideas please...?

  But after getting all the software I wanted and pilots back on this subject that I noticed that two of my usb ports are not working, and two others say they aren't 3.0 which I may be wrong but I'm pretty sure they are. So Ive looked everywhere, people say usb drivers come with the AMD Chipset drivers, someone had my computer and my same problem and he said AMD drivers solved his problem, but it did not work for me, here's the source:

  I have a laptop, it was windows 8.0 and I upgraded to 8.1, I didn't like it at all so I lowered it to win7 because it was laggy and the displayed text was fuzzy. I knew that something was wrong with the installation of windows 8 and even after a clean full format, he would not return to normal. And my usb slots were not working other than port 3.0 I had a plugged usb of decommissioning...

  I know its something to do with the bios and since the update of the bios is 8 - 8.1 windows only I don't know what to do... I have a .wim file recovery and I don't know how to use it. I also forgot to put my product key of my pc of win8 before I went down I had no knowledge of what happen and don't think it would be a problem...  Now I can't connect more than 1 thing at a time. I went on the microsoft forums and they fixed a problem (ethernet driver) and told me to come here and I hope you can fix the rest.

  1 SMBus: Downloand unzip and manually install the driver for smbus controller I have attached under attachments below.

  Go to Device Manager and click the controller smbus needing drivers.  Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.

  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder that you unzipped.

  Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and the driver should install.  Then restart.

  2 USB3: Download and install both of these drivers and restart.
