Satellite C660 supports Bluetooth 3.0?

Hello

I recently bought a Satellite C660.
It says the laptop has Bluetooth 3.0. Is this true?
It works very well for windows 7.

However in Ubuntu 10.10 my Bluetooth doesn't seem to work. I think it's the problem of missing driver.

Where can I get the latest drivers Linux/Ubuntu for C660?

Hello

What C660-xxx you have exactly?

Of my knowledge C660 laptop computers are equipped with a WLan card which also supports Bluetooth!
But not all wireless network cards support this feature.
So first of all, you must check the wireless network card and check if it has support of BT.

    Hello

    Model: C660-1TE.
    OS: Windows 7 32 bit.

All of this work. Only bluetooth and touch pad has lack drivers or does not not perfectly.

Bluetooth: well I've worked to get bluetooth works for a long time and I have to do without success.

I found some drivers but these seem to be wrong or does not work. The problem is that for this model there is no bluetooth driver or what operating system I use. I found these drivers looking for the model series to see if I can find some drivers of the company that makes this bluetooth but again unsuccessfully.

So im required to get my bluetooth works and I need assistance to do so.

Then press the key. It works fine but I have no scrolling or other functions that should be for this model (looking at the box where was the laptop inside.) Yet once, I was looking around to see drivers or the appropriate drivers for Tablet touchscreen but ended once again without success.

This isn't a big deal, but at least I wand scroll, because its annoying if you have long site and you can't scroll down.

Thanks if I get some answers!

    Hello

    > The problem is that for this model there is no Bluetooth driver or for this OS, I use

Your laptop is equipped with an Atheros WLan / BT combo card.
    The software is available defitnialy
    You have to install is:
    (1) package of filter Atheros Bluetooth (available on the European driver Toshiba page)
    (2) Toshiba BT stack (available here http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/bluetooth/)

After installation, activate BT using Fn + F8

    > Then press the key. It works fine but I have no scrolling or other functions that should be for this model (looking at the box where was the laptop inside.) Yet once, I was looking around to see drivers or the appropriate drivers for Tablet touchscreen but ended once again without success.

Drivers (also the touchpad) are on the page of the European driver Toshiba
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp
You must choose the Satellite C660 PSC1NE.

You can check the touchpad settings in Control Panel-> mouse-> tab advanced-> button Advanced settings

  • Satellite C660-1me - bluetooth & Wlan operate within the same radio frequency

    My alptop is Satellite C660-1me
I downloaded all the drivers from the toshiba site, today only a window appeared, says the following:

+ bluetooth and lan devices operating in the same range of radio frequency wireless and may interfere with one another.

Can u please help to figrue the problem and solve it.

    Thank you very much

    Hello

This isn't a problem, but it is a simple system reviews.

This means that your WLan works according to the same frequency as Bluetooth.

Usually the 802. 11 B and G WLan standard using the 2.4 GHz and this frequency is also used by Bluetooth

So if you use WiFi, disable the BT NOT to use two devices at the same time!

  • Is Satellite M70 supports Bluetooth

    Hello!

Can someone tell me if the Equium M70 is compatible bluetooth?

    Thank you

    Hello

Toshiba has delivered various models Equium M70 with a different hardware configuration. This means that some M70 models support the BT and some units were equipped without the internal BT module.
If the laptop is equipped with the BT module then a label of BT should be at the bottom of the unit.

  • Bluetooth does not work on Windows in Satellite C660-A047

    Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my laptop (satellite c660-A047) Bluetooth does not work on windows (7 and 8), but it works very well under Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, Backtrack).

I have an outgoing method :) to do run on windows, start Linux Live then set the Bluetooth adapter to the off State, and then reboot (do not stop, restart only), and then start windows this time this Bluetooth adapter works great and updated automatically in the Device Manager.

To use Bluetooth on windows I have to do the same steps: (.)

If someone wants to know all the details to help me solve these curious case, I will be grateful.

Thanks, looking forward to hearing from you soon.

The laptop supports Wlan Atheros / module combo BT.
This means that a single module shares WiFi and BT connectivity.

Using Win 7 you must add the additional drivers called filter for driver Atheros BT package.
So first the Atheros WLan driver must be installed, secondly Atheros BT filter after battery Toshiba BT.

To help to win 8, you must install two components of driver manually to enable the Bluetooth feature: System Toshiba + Atheros Bluetooth driver driver filter

  • How can I disable tap-to-click on the Satellite C660/C660D?

There is no option to disable it on this laptop, I looked for the answer online but nothing, there seems to be no way to do it on this laptop model. I tried to download the new driver for touchpad of the site but had absolutely no effect and gave me more options to turn it off, it has changed nothing. Now completely stuck and its driving me crazy!

The mouse click also on its own randomly even if Im not to touch, always seems to hurt when im game.

I still want to use the touch pad to move the pointer autour, just don't want to use it to click.

As far as I know the Satellite C660 supports Synaptics touchpad.
The Synaptics touchpad driver should support the tap to click option.

In order to ensure that Synaptics driver has been installed.
Then go to control panel-> mouse-> last tab (button settings)
Now, you need to access the properties of Synaptics and here you should find the option called tapping

  • Satellite C660-108 does not start if the USB Bluetooth dongle connected

    Hiya,

I hope you could help me.

I'm having a problem with my dongle bluetooth and satellite c660-108.
It all works perfectly. It connects devices via bluetooth and I can do whatever I want.

But then when I'm mobile stop and turn it on again it will go if the bluetooth dongle is always in the USB.

I see Toshiba screen and then it hangs with a black screen and a cursor flashing at the top left.
I have to turn it off, remove the bluetooth dongle and then turn it back on.
And then windows starts. After that, I put in bluetooth dongle, once again I want to work with her.

It isn't a huge problem, but it is a bit annoying when I have to leave the bluetooth and put it back again to get the windows began.
I'm running under win 8.1 but he already had with 8 victory.

    Anyone any ideas?

    > I see Toshiba screen and then it hangs with a black screen and a cursor flashing at the top left.
Especially the blinking cursor is displayed because the laptop can not find a boot device.

It seems that the device cannot put on the HARD drive while the USB dongle is connected.
I would recommend you check the boot order in the BIOS.

Put the HARD drive in the first place and the USB boot last device.
Save changes and check if it helps.

  • Satellite C660 now does not connect to the printer via Bluetooth

I have a very small domestic network - 2 of the Satellite C660 using Windows 7 Home premium and a printer Photosmart more connected through BT Home Hub work all fine until a computer laptop suddenly cannot connect with the printer, well located 1 m from each other.

Connection Internet is fine - and another laptop works perfectly. Message from the printer on statement failed, on examination, it simply records as "error."

    Any ideas of solution?

    Hello

From this point it's hard to say what's wrong.
In my opinion, you must reset all settings and configure the connection to the printer again.
Reinstall the software that you have installed in the past.
Also recommend check that the support from the manufacturer printer pages a few FAQ, HowTo, etc...

Since your laptop can connect to the internet properly, it cannot be a laptop problem

  • Satellite C660 - no support OpenGL

    Hello everyone

I have a Toshiba Satellite C660 core i 3 and I try a bit of motion graphics and when I try to use the 3D space in Photoshop, it is said that my PC does not support Open GL them more when I try to use a plug-in called 3-d element that is popular in the publishing community and for the work of the 3D space, he said open GL problem problems / "fatal" error/Error 126 to After Effects

So I tried everything I have updated my graphics driver and but without success so can anyone please please help out me? :(

I think that the current driver for the graphics card does not support OpenGL but only DirectX standard.
To me, it seems that you need to install the Intel page graphics driver.

I put t know what Intel CPU you have and, therefore, it s I do not know which Intel GPU driver you need.

However, I think that it is not a big problem to find the compatible driver on Intel page.

By the way: the installation must be carried out in the Device Manager.
