Satellite C855 - update Windows AMD 7610 GPU causes restart and restore

On a TOSHIBA Satellite C855 with graphics AMD Radeon HD M 7610, I'm getting repeat ' Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. - Graphics Adapter WDDM1.3 - AMD Radeon HD 7500/7600 Series "update problems when installing the Windows 8.1 (64-bit).

During the installation of the update, restart the laptop and only a restore option is available.
Every time this update causes a reboot and restore.
A very miserable situation.

Toshiba knows why in this case, what is the solution?
Update Microsoft recommends this update for users of Toshiba.

Toshiba has official advice on satellite users should apply Windows updates like these?
This problem has been ongoing since late December;

    Hello
To be honest I m not very well why the autopilot GPU update could not complete successfully, but I guess that the update is not out for the AMD Radeon HD7610M, which is built into the laptop.

I also read a discussion on this issue in the Microsoft forum, and it seems that there are other people having exactly the same problem with this update.

However, even if the System Manager recognizes the presence of the TV tuner, Media Center is no longer 'sees' as being installed.

I tried to uninstall and reinstall the drivers. Windows XP behaves as it should and no error is generated. However, Media Center still refuses to 'see' the tuner.

If I do system restore and restore to OS to forward these updates day and then MC works very well.

Does anyone else have this problem? In addition, no one knows which of these updates is causeing it or have a fix?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

I have no idea why MS updates cause this problem, but if the windows OS recognizes the TV tuner and if the TV tuner is listed in the device manager then it would mean that the TV tuner works correctly.

I think the MCE is the problem.
Are you using the latest MCE?

Here you will find the official page of MS MCE:

    Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite C855-1KP, part PSKCAE-04600QG5 number, and I can't find the driver wireless on the web.
I scanned my laptop TOSHIBA PC Diagnostic toll-free and appear to the network:

All my drivers I downloaded from www.Toshiba.com, all worked, except the wireless driver.

I tried already some wireless drivers from Intel (Intel PRoSet/Wireless Software and the Intel PRoSet/Wireless WiMAX software), but they give me an error that I couldn't solve (the WiMAX adapter was missing, and the error code was 0 x 302).

I don't know what else to do. Please help me if you can.

You can download from the portal Toshiba WLAN - latest version of the driver http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/wlan/

  • updates Windows returns to the start-up and restart the portable computer

I put a clean image of windows 7 on my laptop and started running the updates of windows. There were 200 +. They download and restarted the computer and start the installation. Try excluding upgrades recommended to install important updates and only load the Important updates first which should be updated about 159 200 not.

If looking for updates to hang on a current installation,

Switch your windows update setting to never check the updates temporarily

    Restart the machine

Then you download this from your download folder run from there.

    Download the x 86 for 32-bit or x 64 for 64-bit

Install it and restart when prompted too after he did a search of stand-alone for updates that should not

take too long, it took all of 5 seconds, '' If '' windows update settings are turned on forever check

updates before running from the downloads folder.

    Once it installs and restarts

You can reset your updates affecting everything you had before default =...

    Then check the updates manually.

  • Satellite C50 - update Windows questions

    Hello

I bought a Satellite C50 windows 8 year last for my partner (who has the patience of a gnat and click on everything and nothing), when windows updates were installed on a month ago, she lost the office link, she kept flashing on and outside. She managed to access the Internet through internet Explorer tab (only for the bingo & ebay lol).

An other recent windows update took forever to load then a failure to configure changes return messages that froze the laptop.

Yesterday, I managed to return to the default value, all settings, after all personal preferences, I went to update the page to change the settings to apply updates before installing, and he said he had to be updated before choosing the updates!

I'm back there again and I was wondering if there was a specific update that is causing all this trouble. Although my bank balance is looking better, I'll throw this lappy in the bin and just buy another!

    Help, please. Thanks :)

    Hello

In general, I agree with the view of s IronMan.
The point is that you can always set the computer laptop initial configuration using the recovery procedure.

After this procedure the system windows will install updates from Microsoft.
This may take some time and the unit must be restarted several times during this procedure.

A system update will install before other updates have been installed.
Therefore, this process could take a little longer.

In addition, you will need to update to the latest system 8.1 Win the old Win 8.
This can be done after have installed all updates to Win 8.
The Win 8.1 update should be done as recommended by Toshiba.

The complete step by step instruction can be found here:
    http://www.Toshiba.EU/innovation/generic/windows8_1-message/

You will be also informed about updates of Toshiba Toshiba service station preinstalled.
In this case, it will be very easy to get the latest version of the driver.

I hope this helps a little

  • Updates Windows 7 boot failure cause (don't loop, no error message)

I havnt been able to determine if there is a particular windows update which is causing my computer loop just after the windows logo is displayed at startup 7. An update every time happens I have to perform a restore, which sometimes failed and ive had to do a reinstall is complete. Even if this was done, I always meet the same problem when it comes to updates. I also bought a new hard drive, reinstalled windows on it and tried again, same problem with updates.

Even more disturbing, it seems now that when I installed office 2003 or even openoffice that I encounter the same problem... #.

If you install the Toshiba drivers manually, do it in the right order!

  • No sound, unable to update windows, a variety of error codes and dssenh.dll problems... Help?

I'm running a Toshiba with Windows Vista. The 24th of this month, I have installed the updates for my computer, but when I rebooted I had absolutely no noise. I double checked to make sure it was not cut, I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, and then I tried to do a system restore. None of them worked.

Then I tried to check updates more see if this would help to solve my current problem and began to find more mistakes, such as "could not find updates, error code: 800 b 0001 ' or 'Code error 8024402F' these are mistakes that I see most.

Then when I go to open certain programs I get errors that say something about ' bad image: problem with Dssenh.dll "when I try to save it again, I get other errors with about 5 other .dll files.

Of course, I went to the Microsoft website long enough... and I went through multiple options and steps, but nothing helped. So I thought that my last option is to ask.

The last thing I can find is to download the "System update readiness Tool" to check for problems.

Well, I can't download or run because of my error '800 b 0001'.

I don't know what I would do at this point... Help?

Before the update from the update began when my computer was being restarted... I had a black screen and had a weird three-step process that was supposed to be recommended. Meanwhile, there was a flood of information that crosses the screen.
I ran a scan complete antivirus just in case, but it could be a virus that has not been detected?

If anyone has any information, it is greatly appreciated... I don't know what to do.

McAfee (and Norton) applications are notorious for not to uninstall (or upgraded) themselves!

    1. download the McAfee Consumer Product Removal, save it to your desktop tool: http://download.mcafee.com/products/licensed/cust_support_patches/MCPR.exe

    2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

    3. click right on the file saved in #1 above, and then select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.

    4 test cycle.
