  Preinstalled system was Windows 8 64-bit so I n t see a serious reason why mistakes regarding the CPU should appear.

  I run windows Vista Home premium, on my Toshiba Satellite A200-196, and I have a creative T7900 7.1 System.
  I'm not all stakeholders to work. Only the woofer and two front speakers are currently playing a sound.

  The sound in Control Panel option gives me the options in addition to stereo speakers.

  I have no possibility to choose 5.1 or 7.1 speakers and I need to know do I need a software driver (all drivers are appearing to date), or do I have to change to another option, or buy an external sound card?

  I Don t think that the sound card is capable of doing 5.1/7.1 since there are many takes longer then a "sound-output.

  If I were you, I would buy an external USB soundcard that is capable of doing 5.1 or 7.1 to offer you experience complete home theater.

• New Satellite: C870 - 15L - how to get the original Windows7 I?

  Computer: Toshiba Satellite C870 - 15L (17 '')
  Purchased in Norway, Prof. August 2012.

  A little surprised when I return in August opened, to install and prepare the computer for one of my family members. Not a single cd or dvd was included, not even the restoration or the original dvd of Windows 7 Pro.

  However, I had the option to burn four or five CDs/DVDs in a Thosiba program built into Windows 7, which I did of course.

  However, I would like to have some sort of original Windows 7 Professional 64-bit cd/dvd. I searched through the 'My Page' on the pages web Toshiba (after you register online, the computer), but can not find
  information on how to order. I know that it should be possible to make such an order, but I'm not really sure of who to address.

  The retailer where I purchased the computer, Toshiba or Microsoft?
  If someone could shed some light on this subject, it would be very welcoming.

  Computer Toshiba laptop are not delivered with the partitions of Windows System.
  You can create a disk recovery which would contain the preinstalled system, drivers, and other tools.

  The clean Windows 7 disk is not provided by Toshiba.

  I can't create the recovery disk, so I bought the Toshiba https://backupmedia.toshiba.eu/ disk before the end of 2013. I didn't use the disk since that date.

  I think that my hard disk partition are corrupt, so I want to start the process over again.

  I've cleaned the disc using the product recovery disc (takes 4hours ;-))
  Then I run the disc again, and during the copy of file, I get an error message:

  OK to shut down the computer

  What should I do to reset my laptop with factory settings?

  To be honest I m quite skeptical that you will be able to make it work. Original recovery image either works or not. In the past, few people here spoke of a similar problem using directed recovery installation disc.

  New parts can be ordered from the local ASP.
  But be aware that a new motherboard is not good cheap. You will need for a replacement of the mobo 300Euros.
  I think that it s not worth buying a new motherboard because you could add a few Euros and might get a new laptop.

  However, you can view some websites like Ebay for example a satellite M30/Satellite Pro M30 of second hand. Perhaps you could get a second hand mobo

  For Satellite or Equium A200 XP drivers are not available on the Toshiba page at the moment!

  I have a Satellite L350-171 and got a W7 DVD update "awhile." I get only round to install now and the first thing I see in the instructions, it's that I should have a upgrade DVD Toshiba, which I did :-(

  Anyone know where I can get one, or if I need any? If not then can I just upgrade and hope that all drivers updated automatically? Sounds a bit risky

  A few years ago, Toshiba offered this upgrade program.
  It's over and you can't upgrade drive more.

  What you can do is be upgraded using the original disc of Microsoft, but I think you should do clean install Win7. Your model of laptop is supported for Win7 and all necessary drivers, tools and utilities that you can download at Toshiba support page http://www.toshiba.eu/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp

  Before starting with the upgrade Win7 create original Vista recovery DVDs.
  If you need assistance with installing Win7 or if you have other questions, you are welcome.

  I assume that you know something about the technology of the laptop and you know the motherboard for laptop is one of the parties outside the expensive laptop LCD screen.
  The new motherboard costs a small fortune :(

  You have two options; either you buy a new Board of Directors of the Toshiba service partner in your country (new = expensive with guarantee) or you will check for example eBay offers and maybe you will get a second hand unit with the motherboard (second hand = cheaper but without warranty)

  The laptop supports recovery of HARD drive option. This means that you can reinstall the image of Toshiba without using the recovery DVD. You must boot up the laptop and press the F8 key. The advanced boot menu is displayed and there you choose the first option to fix my computer. Then choose recovery Toshiba (last option) and start the installation.

  After this installation, you can use the Toshiba pre-installed called TOSHIBA Recovery Disc Creator to create an own recovery DVDs software of engraving

  But if you have formatted the HARD drive, the repair option won't work because the recovery folder has also been removed. In this case, you will not be abele to create clean restore DVD.
