Satellite click on Mini - some problems after installing Win 10

Hello
I hope someone here could help me
I have a Mini click and I decided to install windows 10. First error
During installation, I decided to replace the partition recory (2nd error)
After the installation, I have observed that no update was possible, after 2 months, I decided to restore the system (3rd error)
During the restore process in windows (only 71 percent) 10 = off work because of missing files
So my Mini click is released
I called 3 times to support (with no success) and this morning call center tell me to go to a special website to have a system restore USB
PROBLEM = they ask me to pay for the key to restoration of toshiba
I want only the files ISO and no way to have this file in the toshiba support site
After 3 errors, click no way to recover my Mini, or only with money (even if my product is up to garranted! Amazing)
And in the forum to write my message, my IE session was broken both times... Of course, I'm on the toshiba site and I use another toshiba satellite to write this message
I think that my BBIIIIIIIGGG mistake was to buy a toshiba product...
So if you can help me it will be good for me and for my budget... :-(

  • Some problems after installing Win 2003 Enterprise on Satellite L310-4012

    Hi friends

I have a laptop L310-4012 and trying hard to install Windows 2003 Enterprise on this subject.
Went through many articles and has even had a long discussion with Customer Support on this one, where it was stated that they do not support Server 2003.

I did most of the installation on my own and most things work except for fingerprint and SD card. Have tried many things but I am not able to use it.

Apart from that, I see unusual things happening as

    1. I'm not able to close down the machine after uisng camera. If I don't use camera, it works fine
2 CTRL + ALT + DELETE. The task manager has grayed out
3 seems as if the laptop doesn't work that fast.

Need your help guys to decide as to whether I should use windows 2003 or not

    Hello

I m wondering that you have installed Windows Server 2003 on a laptop. Why do you need a server on a laptop OS?

However, maybe I can help you:

    (1) If you have used the web cam, the software is already started and you should see an icon in the taskbar. Right click on that and close the software. Then you should be able to stop the laptop.

    (2) what you mean with gray? You can also start the Task Manager, if you right-click on the taskbar and select Task Manager.
But I believe that there is something wrong with the operating system. Normally this has nothing to do with the laptop or the hardware.

    (3) have you installed the chipset driver? I think the reason for this is why Server is not supported on mobile phones, and therefore you can t find drivers.

If you really need this OS to test something that I would install on VMware or Microsoft Virutal PC. On a virtual machine, you must not install any driver.

WinDVD is the least of your problems: WinXP SP2 should be installed no later than October 10 2006!

If you installed the Windows operating system without using the HP recovery media, then you will need to download and install all the drivers missing/software separately.

  • Satellite A300D - 14 p - no sound after installing Win XP

    Hello

I just intalled XP and everything works fine, just a problem with the sound.
I instaled driver sound and sound is very high up with no bass, I didn't have this problem when I had VIsta or Win 7 installed, it must have something to do with drivers.

My windows is established to date, have SP3 and everything works perfectly.

    What should I do?

    Thank you!!!

    Nikola

    Hello

    I had the same problem.
But I could solve this install Win XP fixes needed.
    You must generally 2 patches:
    AUDIO patch 1: KB835221
    AUDIO patch 2: KB888111

But these fixes are also part of the SP3.
So if you have previously installed SP3, you don t need other patches.
Bu the point is that SP3 must be installed before installing the audio driver.

If you have already installed the sound driver then delete the system.
Go to Device Manager, then remove the sound card from the list of devices and all devices high definition.
Restart the device and then reinstall the audio driver.

This is beneficial because it has helped me too.

  • Satellite 2210CDT: two problems after installing Win XP

Hello! Maby it sounds funny but I found Toshiba Satellite 2210CDT inside my closet, installed Windows XP (oem supplied with the mouse, I bought some time ago) and it works!
The only problems I have are:
    * When the system is in hibernation, it is impossible to 'wake up' (I remmember in Win98 in this laptop there is problem);
    * I don't really have the tools provided with Win98 came with the laptop (ie.battery status and so...)

    Appreciate the help, Mike

PS sorry if I post in a bad place in the forum, but this is my first post (I hope you can understend...)

    Hello

Satellite 2210CDT is an ancient and you should be lucky that Windows XP runs on you laptop.
But this unit has been designed and delivered before the era Windows XP started.
I checked the page of the Toshiba driver and there is no drivers for Windows XP. I found drivers only for W2k and Win98.
Unfortunately, if you use the Win XP on your laptop you must do without drivers Toshiba, tools and utilities.

I found a utility to do Hibernation for Win98 on the Toshiba site. I think that this is a utility that is important to use the hibernation mode. But as I said, it is available for Win98.

  • Satellite Pro U400 - micro reception problem after installing xp sp3

I had Vista, then I recently installed windows XP SP3 from scratch (not downgraded). I downloaded the latest drivers from Toshiba and install. Now, I have a problem with the microphone. Speakers audio playback is fine, but the built-in microphone reception level is very low and often unrecognizable. I use a voip program. In Vista, micro worked better.

Now in Windows XP Home edition, I told myself that they cannot hear me or my voice is very weak and difficult to recognize. I also tried to sound recorder in windows. My voice is as if I am talking about ten meters.
I have an external microphone, so I can't say if line microphone. works well.

In messages previous people mention a fix for xp download his questions but I'm not sure if applies to my situation.

    Thank you

    Hello Erdem

As I see you have CD/DVD for Windows XP SP3 home edition recovery facilities. Everything worked well with the original recovery image? I have way is there a reason why you installed the new driver?
Were you informed of the new drivers (Tempro) somehow?

You have installed the drivers who exactly?
What Satellite Pro U400 you (U400-xxx)?

  • Some problems after installing Windows 8 on the Qosmio X 500

    Hello
    Sorry for my bad English...

    I have a qosmio x 500 PQX33E. I installed the upgrade of windows 8.
    But I have problems drivers.

For the eco mode, the digital key does not respond.

For the HDMI to the TV connection, before the connection is automatic. With windows 8, I have to do manually.

I had to disable the optical driver to operate the bluray player.

And several other pilots missing for windows 64 b 8.

Do you know if I can use a different drivers, qosmio, qosmio x 875 as?

is that Toshiba will create windows 8 drivers for our old machines and other qosmio?

Thank you very much for your answers.

    > Do you know if I can use a different drivers, qosmio, qosmio x 875 as? Is that Toshiba will create windows 8 drivers for our old machines and other qosmio?

As far as I know Toshiba released an official list of old Win 7 notebook series that will save 8 drivers and support.
The matrix to win 8 can be found here:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/innovation/JSP/checkWindows8Compatible.do?service=EU

As you can see, the Qosmio X 500 series is not that is why I think that Win 8 drivers will come out of this show.

But in some cases, you can use the tools to win 8 who were released for other series.
As for example the VAP Toshiba to win 8.

However, this does not mean that everything will work as in the past using Win 7

    Hello

I reinstalled Windows XP on this laptop Toshiba A100-163 and had a little trouble, but the hardest thing was the audio, so I thought I'd post the solution in case anyone else is trying to do!

The drivers supplied by the Toshiba support site did not work. After a bit of research, it seems that the audio drivers are supposed to be integrated into Windows: "Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio". But I don't it would work.

The solution was to install XP Service Pack 3!
I didn't not use Windows update, but instead downloaded and installed the "Windows XP Service Pack 3 Network Installation Package for IT professionals and developers. Then, after a restart, the Hardware Wizard found is come and properly installed audio drivers.

    Hope this helps someone!

    Hello

As far as I know, Toshiba does not support and does not all drivers vista for Qosmio G, G, F10, F20.
The Vista drivers are available for G Qosmio F30 laptop
Therefore, you will not be able to find common modules and others on the download site Tosh.

The needs of Vista and wastes many resources of the laptop! File, the picture transparency and the Aero feature needs min on 256 MB graphic card, fast CPU and min 1024 MB of memory.
Here are the requirements material min!

But you should also check if the transparency of Vista (Eye Candy, magnifying glass effect) has been activated!
To enable or disable this effect do this:

    1. right click on an empty area of the desktop
    2. Select Customize from the context menu
    3. click on window color and appearance Option
