  Hey guys, recently started having issues with photoshop do not receive the fixed amount of ram needed. I have it set to use 24 GB of Ram (I have 32 GB) tried a reset, tried to reset back to the factory, then put it back, nothing. The strange thing is that if I put it to use only 1 GB of ram, it is still idling to 6 GB.   I bought a Toshiba Satellite L855 - 13G (PSKACE-04Y00CFR) in France last year, but this computer is already leading me in trouble!

  I tried to install a 256 MB Samsung M464S3323BN0-L1L in my laptop S1800-204. It did not work very well, I'm afraid :) The power light turns on but nothing happens.

  The original memories were a Toshiba THLY64N11A80 (64 MB) and a Samsung M464S0924BT1-L1H (64 MB). Using one of the old as well as 256 MB modules makes the computer a long beep and one short beep at startup.

  I wonder if the reason is that memory, I got is CL3, while the 'old' are CL2? Maybe the computer only support CL2 memory.

  PC100 256 MB (PA3069U - 1 M 25)
  PC100 128 MB (PA3005U)
  PC100 64 MB (PA3004U)

  The PA3069U - 1 M 25 is a module of Kingston - 256 MB - SO DIMM 144 - polig - SDRAM - 3.3 V ECC memory.
  In my opinion, you must use the memory modules with the same properties.
  In addition it s advisable to use similar modules in both banks.

  I put also t know why this happens, but you can try to reinstall Toshiba Value added Package if you have Vista or Windows 7 is installed. FN keys will be controlled by this tool and the Flash Cards Support utility. Everything you can download here:

  But remove the old tools first. Restart the computer, and then install VAP, then Flash Cards Support utility.

  Download the driver and extract the contents into a new folder created. Please enter the LAN card properties in Device Manager and choose the option to install the driver. Asked about the driver choose navigate to this new created folder and see what happens.

  But I'm sure that this is certainly not normal behavior and I definitely recommend the service guys asking for additional verification.
