  I can't get the APP store to work and I'm also not able to get my PC to download the updates that it must, it's been 2 months that updates have been downloaded. And why have we not physically go to settings to get the downloads? Should not the PC do what he's done before and just automatically download? I have my computer set up to do and it still don't do it at all. I am also thinking maybe someday a MAC book.

  I have Windows 7-64 bit version and I normally have updates of Windows set to warn me when there are new updates, but do not install them - let me decide.

  I see 21 updates and now it is stuck on just that. I even set to automatically install updates, restarted the computer and tried this again once and no dice... part of these updates is my Windows Defender, which I use for anti virus, so I would really like to get it working again.

  Recently bought a Toshiba C850 laptop for my wife.
  Working in I.T the first thing I did was run windows update, it invites updates are available and starts to download.

  However, it is just eternally on 0%, I checked the download folder in the distribution of software and it fills up with updates, but the windows update screen never changes.
  I made some updates on the another victory of 8 machines on the same network so I know this isn't a problem with the internet.
  Have reset the pc by using the reset my pc to function within windows 8, tried again and still the same.
  A ran files hotfix microsoft... always the same support windows update.

  Even if I chose an update to download and install only for sticks to 0%.
  Deleted the contents of the folder dist\download software. picked up the update, this issue starts to fill up, but even after leaving, for 24 hours, its still on 0%

  So we have recently updated our infrastructure update to adobe for the most recent versions provided by the CCP and I get failures on Mac (have not yet been windows tested).   I just bought a new laptop (Satellite L30 PSL33E-02S01LBT). He had installed Windows Vista, but it was horribly slow.

  I installed Windows XP SP2 on it's updates. I installed all the drivers from toshiba site I could find for my model.
  Everything works fine except the sound. I tried to install the drivers found on the toshiba Web site, but it fails with this error:
  'No pilot only is supported in the suite of drivers' (AKA FRENCH: 'no driver no is supported in this suite of drivers').

  In my list of equipment I have this with a "?":
  (?) Audio device on High Definition Bus Audio

  I tried to install the Realtek drivers with 5.10.0.5273 version.

  This driver has been installed successfully, but the sound still doesn't work.

  So, I removed this driver and found my "Audio on Bus High Definition Audio device"...

  What could I do? Is this computer model toshiba laptop has problems with XP and the sound?

  I've updated my 512 MB of RAM with one of my dads old 512 MB RAM from another laptop upgrade to a 1 GB. It shows the black screen saying Windows Vista startup repair. Then I have the choice of the common eider "Launch Windows Startup Repair" or "start windows normally". What we I choose I get a popup saying "Windows Vista startup repair failed launch" and then theres only 'Ok' or 'X' and eider there click you on it shuts the laptop! Then I start again and it does exactly the same thing for the Common Eider option grey-headed!

  I don't have any idea what to do now, and the only choice is to bring a professional and pay for repair which I did not have money to make. I can to fix on my own? I know a few people saying updating the BIOS but how can I if the display does not illuminate.

  _Before you leave a response, I want to clarify that I removed the 512 MB of RAM on the other laptop and the same thing happens. _ there is nothing I can do! :(:(

  I think that your installation of Windows Vista broke down because the RAM did not work properly in your laptop.
  You should only use manufacturing even modules with the same specifications.

  However, have you tried the Vista repair option with the original of the RAM?
  If it doesn t work I think you need to reinstall Windows Vista with the installation disc. :(
