  I thought I fixed this problem last night.
  Unfortunately, I was wrong. So far I've updated driver and BIOS on my laptop.

  My problem:

  OK so my internet works fine wirless thought when my laptop is not charging.
  However when the AC adapter is connect and the laptop is charging that the internet connects for about 10-15 minutes then log off, forcing me to reboot my laptop to get the internet working again.

  I'm on Vista Home Premium window and would appreciate any help what so ever.

  I looked through the forum and not yet fallen on a problem simular to mine.

  Edit: Just checked the powersaving parameter and seen the the box "allow the computer to turn this device to save power" is checked, I uncheck the to solve my problem?

  You certainly need to deselect this option because if she checked s then the cell phone would turn off / Unplug the WLan card to save battery.

  Just brought me a new laptop. Sound of the Toshiba Satellite L300-1BW. However, I've encountered a problem. I can connect to my home network wireless fine. However 10-15 minutes after browing internet, my just wireless connection will stop working.

  When does he say 'Local & Internet', 10-15 Minutes after that, I would say just "Local."

  I know full well it's not my Netgear because it work fine on all the other my computer.

  IM wondering if anyone could possibally help me. I would be grateful anyhelp.

  Edit - seems work correctly with my laptop not charging. However when the power adapter is in charge of the laptop, it work for 10 minutes then stop.

• Cannot connect by Satellite L300-1BW to wireless technology

  My Satellite L300-1BW has recently ceased to connect the my Wi - Fi.

  It shows that wireless networks are available, I can see my secure network and there is no red cross through the icon but when I click on IE, it only says: unable to connect.

  I tried with 2 of my friends houses on their connections without wire (previously connected) and it just does the same thing.
  I can see all the networks concerned, but it won't take me actually to my homepage.

  I do not understand why it has just stopped working - drives my lan are up-to-date. Help..!

  Hello people, Satellite L300-1BW my wife lost her DVD player - manager of material properties gives the following error:

  2) navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
  (3) in the right pane, delete the "UpperFilters" key and delete the key "LowerFilters".
  (4) restart.

• Satellite L300-1BW - Wireless fails atfer a few minutes

  Hi people, thanks in advance for all advice offered.

  I have a Toshiba laptop Satellite L300-1BW, when I turn on the wireless connection would stay for around 10-15 minutes and turns off, when I run the arrow on the internet logo it wont even pick up wireless.
  I have to restart the laptop wireless to start again, but lasts almost 5 minutes.
  My other laptop stays connected without problem if is not the hub.

  I have a problem with my L300-1BW. Recently, I replaced my memory and upgrated to RAM 2x2gb.
  As I replace my Celeron T1600 1.6 Core 2 Duo T7500 2.2 my Toshi proc get so much that I consider myself as RAM upgrade even more.

  If it's your first laptop then I would recommend first read the manual of the user that is stored on the Toshiba laptop.
  I think that this should be the first step before using a device for the first time.
  I did it with my new Full HD LCD too before using it I first read the user manual.

  Why I m suggesting consulted the user manual? Its very simple.
  You will find all information s. check the extension memory of Chapter 8.

  The laptop can be upgraded up to 4 GB (2 x 2 GB) and you can use the modules of PC2-5300. If the laptop supports GL960 Express chipset then the PC2-5300 modules would go as PC2-4200 due to a lower speed of the FSB of GL960 Express chipset.

  Notes; The 32-bit Windows recognizes THAT 3.2 GB of RAM. Only 64-bit OS can handle more than 3.2 GB

  I have a Satellite L300-PSLB8E. It came with Vista Home Premium. After I did my recovery DVD, I did a SATA drivers downloaded from the Toshiba site. I did the F6 thing but kept getting always a bluescreen when the installation program got the 'starting Windows' I passed the SATA AHCI in BIOS compatibility and then managed to install XP without the SATA drive. What is strange, it's the sound LAGS and disk access is super slow. I ran a speed test program and he showed that the performance of the HARD disk are only 5% of the performance in Vista. I actually tested it on another laptop the same which was decommissioned and it had the same problem. Any advice? What is the AHCI Mode?

  This is the reason why your L300 runs slowly using Win XP.
  You have set the SATA in compatibility mode and now the HARD drive is not able to use the SATA performance.

  Your laptop would be faster using mode SATA and SATA drivers.

  In may, I bought a Saturday C50D-A-134.

  From the very beginning. The internet speed is very slow - Wifi or cable.

  That's what I did:

  Installed the latest drivers (LAN and Wifi)
  Installed latest Bios Update

  Contact internet provider: everything is checked - no problem of provider. (my other laptop on the same network speed gets speeds up to 10 times faster. So it really isn't a provider problem.

  There is no adware installed - it is not a problem of viruses (checked with several programs avast - malwarebytes etc.)

  Can someone help me

  I recently fixed my laptop to its original state, so, nothing had been installed to this topic, it seems very slow, because it crashes or stuggles to load on several basic programs, sometimes it loads fine other times it just hangs, I installed several drivers in the list of Toshiba, but always remains the same.

  I think you which is your laptop quite slow. Preinstalled operating system must be configured correctly.
  You must remove all the unnecessary stuff system, configure the startup option to avoid the long start-up and have better performance of the laptop.

• Satellite L300-1bw - Question on the removal of the HARD drive password

  Hi, I own a L300-1bw, is seriously damaged (I'm going to scrap it) I had a HARD drive password to set.

  Now, a friend has a C660 - 26G, which I hope to use to remove the password (which obviously I know).

  Now, I plan to install in the C660 and go into the Bios to remove my HDD password, I will then put it it an external USB caddy.

  Does anyone know if this is likely to work.
