Satellite L300 PSLB8A reconnect to the net after log off or stop

My son has the L300 that connects to the network wireless to the router in another room.

When it disconnects, or stop, the next time it starts it loses connectivity.

I am able to get it reconnected in connecting the router and reconfirming the setting, but it's tedious and quite often does not work.

His laptop computer often shows that it is connected but slow. I can't find a reasonable solution to all this.

It is not a problem with the signal that I have placed the right of the laptop next to the router, but still the same problem.

Any help, clues you can give will be greatly appreciated

Hello

Have you tried a new Wlan driver?
You should definitely update the driver

I have no idea what you have the WLan card but this Toshiba WLan driver page provides all possible drivers of the WLan for Atheros and Intel cards
http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/WLAN/
You can also try updating the BIOS is an is available

Just a note: my laptop has Atheros WLan card and I m in order to establish the connection using the Atheros WLan configuration tool
It automatically connect my laptop to the Wlan

Happy new year to you all. I have a problem with the adapter wireless following a downgrade from Vista to XP Pro home. Device Manager indicates that a network adapter, which is the LAN and it does not work properly.

I have two points with one exception - Ethernet controller and Modem on Bus High Definition Audio device.

I find all the major engines of the Toshiba Australia but he lists three (I think) site possible WLAN - Atheros, RealTek, and one of the other manufacturers.

The Ethernet controller is the WLAN adapter.
I guess that the WLan driver is missing and so the wireless network card does not appear under network adapters

  • After standby mode Satellite L300 cannot connect to the internet

    Hello

I have problems with my Satellite L300, if I put the laptop to sleep it disconnects from the internet and when I try to continue later, he said that there are no wireless networks.
The only way I can connect again is to restart my laptop. Can someone help me please?

    Thank you

    Hello!

I have a Satellite L300 too but I can t view such a question because I often use the Hibernate and the day before.

In any case, I think you should try to install the latest driver from the Toshiba site:
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download drivers

But before installing the new version, you must delete the old first and then reboot the laptop. After that, you can install the latest version.
And if it doesn't work, you must update the BIOS that you can find on the Toshiba site too.

    Good bye

  • Satellite L300 PSLB8A display, only a black screen

    Hi guys

Please help if you can; This morning I turned on my laptop (Satellite L300 PSLB8A-04R004 running Vista family) and all I get is a black screen.

I tried removing the battery and turn on while plaugged in the power supply, same black screen.

I tried to remove the battery then replace after 10 minutes, but the same black screen. All the power lights are on (but non-corps House).

I tried everything suggested in support on the site page, but thought that you guys might have the answer?

    Thank you.

    > I have tried everything proposed in the support on the site page, but thought that you guys might have the answer?
Seems that you have already tried a workaround solution that I would recommend.
Disconnect the power adapter, remove the battery, wait 1 hour or more.
Reconnect the two parts and then try to switch on the appliance.

If that does not help, then you might try to start the device using a single module of RAM.
    Maybe it's a question of s a RAM...

Otherwise it s necessary to test the material parts and run diagnostic checks.
This can be done by a Toshiba ASP.

  • Satellite L300 PSLB8A - Webcam failure when installing Vista SP2

    Hello

Since I've updated my Satellite L300 PSLB8A 047004 to Service Pack 2 of Vista there was a dialog box that is displayed at startup reported that the driver of the webcam has failed. Everything else is Ok.
When I searched in the Panel of control-> system area and select the menu option to find the newest driver, it was reported that the latest driver is installed.

Anyone can help please, would be much appreciated?
    Best regards... KeV.

    Hey Buddy,

I think you need to reinstall the webcam driver and that should be all...
You can download the latest driver for the webcam on the official website of Toshiba.

But I recommend to remove the old display first driver. This means that you need to check the control panel > Add/Remove programs for the old software assistant camera. Uninstall and restart your laptop. After that, it should be possible to install the latest driver of the webcam works correctly.

  • Satellite L300 PSLB8A - Australian driver download page is lazy

"95 drivers found for Satellite L300-(PSLB8A)"

There are many aspects of the idiocy that might lead to this declaration, the main being:

    * You do not follow your model numbers despite going to the effort to put big stickers on all the products you sell.
    * You use numbers of different models in different regions of the world which means that I have to find the right site of Toshiba, before that I have no chance of finding my (Australian) model.
    * Your web developers are too lazy to set up a simple filtering so I can refine the selection of downloads.
    * Your Cree support site to find support right but no has no connection of "drivers", as you don't want to give them in the first place.
    * Even once, despite having the exact model COMP you have no idea of fscking this real piece of hardware I cling.

I have to deal with support sites almost every day and you are the worst I've seen for some time. I sincerely hope that I don't have to support another Toshiba in the near future.

    Hello

You are right. Satellite L300-(PSLB8A) seems to be an Australian for Toshiba laptop model and usually you have to download the drivers for Toshiba Australian page.

But there is also the same model in Europe for laptop Toshiba Satellite PSLB8E.
I think that it of not really different Australian brother. So, you can also use the European driver of Toshiba page to download driver.

http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/-> support download &-> download drivers

This page is very nice and clear. You can choose the laptop model and you can search for different operating systems. So you won't have any problems to find the right tools and drivers.

  • ESXi 5.5 build 2456374 is unable to reconnect to the vcenter after reboot

    Hello

Have been hitting my head against it for the past few weeks. A host that has worked very well to a previous 5.5 build fails to reconnect to the vcenter after reboot once upgraded to build the 2456374. This also happens to the newly built guest. When a reconnection is started manually, it produces up to 80% (data of the host processing), then dies with a "general system error: internal error. I tried to remove the vpxa account, resetting the config network via the console, Cup NIC of the vswitch, removal of additional interfaces vkernel. The network via the console configuration reset allows me to reconfigure the net and tie vcenter and complete the host host configuration. However, as soon as I restart the host, is no longer, it reconnects to vcenter and I'm back where I started.

Unfortunately, this is not a 100% event. If I rebuild a host enough times, one of the new buildings will finally works correctly.

any ideas on how to solve this problem would be appreciated.

    Elmārs

    QUESTION REOLVED!

Ok. so that was the easy part. Open a folder with vmware to identify the cause for this. After much digging, friction, pull hair, we found a clue in the hostd.log on the ESXi host.

2015-04 - T 02, 04: 49:05.481Z [23381 B 70 error 'Hostsvc.NetworkProvider' user opID=HB-host-185064@917-1d029f4d-d2 = vpxuser] an error occurred during extraction of stack instance configuration: incompatible value of ccalgo for the Netstack instance: defaultTcpipStack.

In my network performance test I did recently, I have significantly improved network iSCSI performance from the cubes NewReno network congestion control algorithm. For each of these hosts, as part of the installation procedure I now set the control algorithm of congestion on cube through the web interface. Finally, it is a little bug with that VMware believed fixed. Is not.

To confirm doubling you encounter this problem, connect to the host (ssh or remote cli) and run the following command:

list of esxcli ip network netstack

You should get a message saying that there is an inconsistency in the netstack configuration.

To fix, run the following command:

esxcli network ip put netstack defaultTcpipStack cubic n - c

the netstack from above list command should now display detailed information and will now be able to connect to vcenter.

If I understand correctly, an article will be published on this in the near future.

2-5 minutes if vCenter service started

  • Satellite L300 (PSLB8A-0VK004) - cannot find the webcam driver

Hi everyone, I recently had to do a clean install of Vista Ultimate (32 bit) on my Toshiba Satellite L300 PSLB8A0VK004

Unfortunately I could find the drivers for the integrated Webcam. I installed several different versions of the Camera Assistant Software without success with everything that ends with the window, that drivers have failed. Please restart your PC or something similar. After several boots the same problem appears. Device Manager only tells me that all drivers are missing - however I don't seem to see anything on a webcam?

Everyone knows the same thing? I don't think that Webcam drivers would change within each variant L300?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

    Hello

Your model is a Australian and can be found on the Australian Toshiba page:
    www.MyToshiba.com.au > Support > downloads

Then enter your model number (PSLB8A-0VK004) and all the drivers will be listed for this model. There is only one pilot of the webcam that you can download for Vista 32 bit: Chicony Camera Software and this is the correct driver.

    Check this box!

  • Satellite L300 Wireless icon has the Cross Red but connected - SOLUTION

    Satellite L300. Home Premium Windows 7 32.

Updated the wireless driver Atheros to the download area of Toshiba (the newest driver released on 11/27/11). After the reboot, the icon in the notification area wireless shows with red cross through it even if it is connected. Not a big deal but annoying.

    Corrected by:
(Note: you must take note of your routers WEP key before doing this and if SSID is not it broadcasts)

    1. go on the network and sharing Center
    2. click on manage networks wireless on the left-hand menu
    3. highlight your connection and remove it.
    4. stop and restart the network connections service (to go to the Services console right-click on computer in the start menu and click on manage.) Expand Services and Applications, click Services).
    5. reconnect to your network by choosing from the list of available and entering the WEP key (or use him manually add... option if you must enter the SSID).
    6. If still the same then restart and reconnect to your network.

    Worked for me.

Alternatively you can try of course to roll back to the old driver.

Thank you much for sharing this info with us!
Perhaps, it might be useful to other people here in the forum!

    Great post!

  • Satellite L300 - 22L - cannot reocver operating system after installing Win XP

    Hello

I bought the Satellite L300 - 22L with preinstaled Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit.
My computer has a problem and the blue screen appeared on my screen so I tried to reinstall it.

I don't have any recovery CD, so I decided to install my old Windows XP.

In the BIOS I changed the hard drive SATA compatibility mode before installing.
During the instalation I deleted the partitions of origin and the new C: and D: partitions with sizes like origins.
XP works fine, but I would like to recover the original Vista Home Premium laptop.

I can't launch the utility of recovery with 'Zero' button after starting.
How can I start the other way recovery utility?

    Thank you

    > I don't have a recovery CD so I decided to install my old Windows XP.
You didn t receive the recovery disk because there was an option to create the recovery disk!
Mentioned everywhere, you should read the user manual.

    > During the instalation I deleted the partitions of origin and the new C: and D: partitions with sizes like origins.
    > cannot start with 'Zero' button recovery utility after the start.

First of all, I think that it is a European model for Toshiba laptop. In this case, you must press F8 for advanced boot menu and there you can choose repair my computer option. In a new window should appear the recovery option.

BUT it will not work now because you have formatted and recreated the partitions!
Now, you have no choice as to order the new recovery disk to reinstall Vista again.

  • Satellite L300 - recovery ends with the error message: 10-FA1Z - 045D

My Satellite L300 is 3 months old and one a few days ago I resorted to the use of the 4 recovery DVDs.
After several hours, I get an error: 10-FA1Z - 045D message. I made 3 attempts and get the same message every time.

    Any suggestions?

My only suggestion for that is you should contact the closest service provider authorized as soon as possible. I am not sure what can be the problem, but it must be HARD drive issue or a problem with the recovery image.

In both cases, you will get free and if necessary service service can order new DVD of facilities of recovery for you.
Do not wait too long and vase your time with her. Call the nearest service tomorrow and talk to them.
