  It is a system with tuner via SiliconDust HD Homerun first.  QuickTV works very well.
  The temporary fix was noted by optimizing and reducing the WMC window temporarily fixed direct reception of TV tuner.  You are looking for a permanent solution.

  Have tried all of the above tactics.  Still not play a "Update Ready" on step 14.
  Any ideas what I'm missing here.  Windows 8-64 bit Pro with the Add on WMC.
  Also, I must say that I am very disappointed that MS has taken to "Stay on top" setting to keep WMC above other windows version Win8 out.

  For some reason, this protected download digital file and update of WMC to play this sound file now seems to have fixed the problems that I had the problem of "video playback device does not support protected content playback.
  Really a frustrating thing.
  I had some problems with the installation of a driver from chipset for a new motherboard, I had to install and it seemed pretty hardware changes to have upset the loan play in my Win8 - 64-bit Pro installation.

  I use 7 Captivate and released a video of an event with playback controls limited mp4 (only play, pause, return and close) on the slide, since the video control event will not be displayed when published. When I publish HTML5 video (with or without seamless tabbing) controls do not work. When I click on play video games and I can pause, but when I want to keep playing, the controls do not work.

  So, it turns out that Captivate just need an update again. Now, video mp4 on several slides works very well on all devices. I had to upgrade to version 7.0.1.237

• Why the video playback quality is not as good as the source?

  Hello.  I'm not new to PrE but I'm new to the forum.

  I use the 2 pre for about 7 years.  I got a newer computer running Windows 7 and basically was forced to move to 12 meadow because PrE 2 does not work very well on the newer machine. Once I installed pre 12, I couldn't wait to jump in my first draft on this machine.

  I expect that with a more recent machine and the latest version of the software, I would get outstanding results - hopefully much better than what I always got with 2 pre on the old machine.  With pre 2, it was not uncommon that the imported video seemed frozen during playback or for some other reason seemed not as good as the video source.

  Unfortunately, the new results were no better than the old.  So, I went to the machine (even newer) my wife running Windows 8 and got the same results.  Then I thought that maybe the DVD release would be better than what I saw in the pre Editor.  No dice.

  The video quality of the source is not the largest (see below), but I was expecting that the pre 12 would no more hurt.

  What has gone wrong?

  BTW, I noticed that Steve Grisetti is one of the frequent speakers on this forum.  In case you're reading this, Steve, I want to thank you and Chuck E. for your pre books.  I bought one several years ago and found it very useful.  And surprisingly, I found that with pre 12, I could always use the book that I bought before because the majority was still with the new software.  Still a great buy!

  I had my laptop for about a month now, and about a week in I plugged a USB external mouse because I prefer it on the touchpad. One day I decide to unplug the external mouse and use the touchpad for a bit, but when I unplugged and allowed to the touchpad, touchpad does not work.

  I tried the FN + F9 key combination several times but it does not work and I have also reinstalled the drivers for the touchpad repeatedly and they have not worked either. I also uninstalled the touchpad drivers and rebooted the computer, leave the computer to deal with reinstalling the drivers, but the result was the same.

  I bought a U3.0 Dynadock and use it with a Zenbook UX32V and an iiyama external display with a resolution of 1920 x 1920

  Everything works fine but the video playback in full screen - no matter, I use the flash player, VLC or WMP. Video playback works well in window mode, but when I switch to full screen, just a black screen and the cursor of the mouse appears.
