  The M50 can be upgraded to 2 GB! It's a good and two 1 GB memory modules should work!
  Did you use the same memory modules?
  I found the 1024 MB PC2700 (PA3313U-2M1G) modules on the Toshiba site options & accessories.
  In my opinion, you should try this module.

  A lot of modules without a name is not 100% compatible and the quality is poor. I use the modules of Kingston and I m very happy. To my knowledge Toshiba portable computers are delivered either with memory modules Toshiba or Kingston.

  I have a Satellite Pro L20 - who has wireless network adapter. Bought a BT Voyager 2110 Wireless ADSL router. Connected to my broadband router. Used Toshiba config to find router on my laptop - it looks like I have then drag the icon of the laptop to the router but it says I can't do because the router is used by another owner?
  Should I do anyting - Inter adapter card in my laptop says activated - the router is connected - but nothing works.
  Please help but I'm pretty useless on these things so keep it clear

  I've also got PS3 and updated the 500 GB HARD drive.
  I used a SATA 2.5 HARD drive with 5400 RPM

  I just installed Windows Vista, and I'm having some problems:

  1. shortcut keys do not work (Fn + F1, f2, f3, etc does not at all).

  2 Touchpad - I have already installed driver listed it under Vista, but although I can use the touchpad, normally when you point, rattling, etc., I can't scroll.   I have a Satellite L300 - 16L and make me the same problem.

  Has got 2 x 1 GB DIMMS standard and ordered 2 new 2 GB DIMMS. If I put the 2 new 2 GB DIMMS in I get the BSOD, Memtest also crashes as soon as it starts to test. If I place a 1 GB Dimm in the lower slot and a 2 GB in another windows starts fine, if I try to put the 2 in the lower slot and 1 GB in the higher the BSOD that he.

  But if I put either of 2 GB on the lower slot his own windows boots fine, mem test has also allows to test the two GBs 2 individually and said no problem.

  Any ideas anyone? My laptop is supposed to support 4 GB, I'm sure of it.

  I checked the specification of your laptop on the Toshiba page and this L300 - 16L supports only 2 GB. This means that you can only use two modules including 1 GB of capacity.

  Sorry, mate, but you can use t 4 GB. The chipset supports only 2 GB.
