Satellite L350-153 black display - failure of the graphics card?
My screen is black.
I don't see anything.
I have a Satellite L350-153.
I also connected the laptop to an external monitor, but also not display. I guess that the graphics card is defect.
Can I change the map, or is it integrated on the motherboard and where I can buy one?
How mich cost?
Thank you for having responded
welcome them

Hello
Hmm if he s really a graphics card problem then that would mean that a whole motherboard must be replaced.
The point is that the graphics chips more be removable, but the chips are special modules that can be purchased separately
In any case, you should get in touch with a local ASP (partner) in order to obtain more details, perhaps that the chip graphic is ok and other malfunctions of the party that knows the technician could run tests and could tell exactly which part is dead
Welcome and good luck

Qosmio X 70-B-10 t - failure of the graphics card
Hello. I offen had failure that the graphics card driver hang up and recovered himself. But today, I got this failure to the course to watch live TV streams and it seemed to me that the laptop does not work correctly. I tried to restard and then I get this message: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (cmdhlp.sys). It must be the graphics card and I don't think it's a hd or RAM failure in this case.
Any tips? Repair? New graphics card?
Thank you!
On this virtual path, it is not easy to say what can be the reason of this failure.
Repair is always the last step. What you can do is to test the features using Notepad with "factory settings, without having to install additional software. What operating system do you use?
Do you use the original display driver or some day? -
Failure of the graphics card on the Satellite A100-405
Hello
I have a Toshiba A100-405, which has a Geforce go 7600 graphics (specifications).
Yesterday, playing a game, all of a sudden the frozen screen and showed a lot of horizontal stripes.
I tried to restart the computer, but succeeded only in safe mode. The bands have not disappeared. (funny colors, such as low resolution, stripes, blocks, etc.)Question 1: Is my assumption that the graphics card is in correct failure?
Question 2: Can this card easily replace? And if so, which would cost only? (in EUROS)
Looking forward to your answers.
Roel
Hello
These funny funny colors, as low resolution, stripes, blocks are called artifacts (adverse alteration in the data, introduced by a technical and/or technological). It seems that the dysfunction of the graphics card. To be sure, connect the external monitor to check. Talk about the replacement, if it is integrated in the motherboard, the entire motherboard must be replaced. It costs about 35% of the total price computer laptop, as you can see that it is quite expensive.
Also, from my own experience I know, sometimes these artifacts occur because of the graphics card overheating due to dust. Do not be lazy to clean the laptop with the jet of compressed air. Otherwise, contact the ASP (SAV) and prepare the money.

MacBook Pro 2014 - failure of the graphics card for the 2nd time in 2 years - no guarantee
Hi all
end of 2014, I bought a new 13 inch Retina Display MacBook Pro mid 2014 model (A1502, EMC2875). A few months later, the graphics card has failed - no obvious reason. Apple replaced. Now, the graphics card has not yet. Still, the mac worked perfectly well (no overheating of the noise, nothing) and all of a sudden - no understandable reason or external actions, the graphics card has failed. Unfortunately, I do not have a guarantee of more. At least, I can access my documents by connecting two Macs, so I hope that the material is not affected.
My model (1502) apparently only has a single integrated graphics processor.
My questions:
- After some research, I discovered that Apple used to have these problems with the 2011 edition. They have implemented a replacement program. Does anyone know sth on this subject?
- What graphics card would you recommend? How much such a graphics card? Where could I buy a cheap?
Of course, I don't want to reuse the same type - guess I don't have to explain how @* #&! I'm after two times the same problem within two years after the purchase of a brand new MacBook Pro...
I would appreciate any recommendations and links!
Best regards
Rahel
-As you say, your Mac model uses the graphics processor integrated in the CPU chip. So, there are ios no replacement possible. The CPU is soldered to the logic board
-The problem with the 2011 MacBook Pro was with the discreet Nvidia, not the graphics unit integrated in the CPU graphics unit.
-When you went to an Apple store just says the genius of APple?
This is the Office Mac Pro forum. I asked that your post be moved to the MacBook Pro laptop.

Satellite L500-12 q - change or replace the graphics card
Hey guys I'm new in this place
Could someone change or replace the graphics card on Satellite L500-12 q with a better game card?I searched the Web for a better card, but couldn't find any info on my laptop with the exception of increasing the performance of certain software such as mentioned in a youtube video
Please someone heeelp
Hi samuniv,
As you can read in 100 other threads, it of not possible to replace the graphics card because it s fixed/soldered to the motherboard. Therefore, an Exchange is not possible.
You should also check out this interesting article:According to the specifications of your laptop is equipped with an Intel GMA 4500 graphics card. The card is good for the office and Windows but it s not a graphics card for new 3D games. You can play older games on the low resolution of the screen, but newer games will not run.

Satellite A355 - new part need to replace the graphics card
Please someone help me find a replacement for my graphics card!
I can't find this type of card the "ATI RADEON MOBILITY 3650 for TOSHIBA SATELLITE A350.
On the back of the card have this code "M86 512 HYN"Hello
You can buy compatible parts of the ASP from Toshiba (authorized service provider) in your country. But I don't know if you will get only the mono-GPU or if you need to buy the whole motherboard which contains this chip too m.
So, get in touch with Toshiba ASP technicians and ask for this part!

Necessary activation after the failure of the graphics card
Hello.
My graphics card died an hour ago and I am currently using the integrated graphics chip. Windows 7 indicates now that activation is required which seems quite odd. My problem is that I can't get a new card until I return to my office in 5 days.
So my question is. I have to go through this again when I get the new card. IE I have to do it twice?
See you soon
Update. Office 2013 now tells me that I need to reactivate it. If I put the dead card back at will, it stops the request?
Hello
I am happy that the problem has been resolved itself.
Please post back if you have other Windows problems and we will be happy to help you further.

Re: Tecra M5 - failure of the graphics card
My Tecra M5 capped starting at Christmas, and my local mobile hospital has run some tests and diagnosed that he needs a new Board of Directors system at a cost of £370.
Thay says that the video graphics chip has failed and that it is one of a few chips on the main Board that cannot be replaced therefore the replacement of the full Board.
I have lots of pictures on the hard drive and the thousands of titles on itunes, that I will not lose, but, given that you can buy a new laptop for close enough to figure what they're citing, someone has a suggestion for access to the information stored without the re - build expensive?
In addition, is their reasonable citation for the work proposed?
Hey, Darksummer,.
I put t know what you want to hear, but if the repair is too expensive you should tell your authorized service provider. In this case, the technicians will not fix your laptop and you can retrieve it.
Your data is always stored on the HARD drive. If you buy an external HARD drive case you can use it for in-house. Then you can back up your data on another computer.
This is easy! ;)An alternative, you can look on eBay for a second hand spare part. Sometimes, you can get a cheap offer.

Question about the graphics card of the Satellite P50t-B-108
Hello
I think to buy the Toshiba Satellite P50t-B-108 model.
Can you tell me if this phone has some kind of graphic hibrid (he uses both the graphic processor Embedded Intel and AMD one?) or simply the radeon graphics processor?I need to install a linux distribution (I might go with ubuntu, but it's not important) and what I need to know is if the HDMI works...
Thank you.
Hello
As far as I know the Satellite P50t-B-108 was equipped with the graphics card AMD Radeon R9 M265X.
In addition the Intel® Core i7-4700HQ processor supports the Intel HD Graphics 4600
This Intel HD 4600 graphics unit is part of the Intel CPU. -
No DVI output of the graphics card
Both times I had a brutal surge (no power line) which closes my UPS. Both times, my power monitor would not come (the PC was fine). I had sort of a recovery after withdrawal of the graphics card (Nvidia geforce 6100 nforce 430) and in him plugging back in, the first time but the second time, I could never do the monitor. I decided that if I removed the DVI connection and used the vga on the PC (not located on the card) connection, the monitor worked well (such as a VGA, of course). Since DVI output set its power of monitor, I guess now that I had a failure of the graphics card. Not having not a knowledge of graphics cards, I need suggestions for replacements for the obsolete (and obviously defective) graphics card. I'm not a gamer, heavy, but use multimedia functions and games of light. Thank you.
Hello:
I would stick with a nVidia card PCIe 2.0 x 16 because you have the nVidia chipset and integrated graphics card.
This is my recommendation based on specifications. Performance and price wise.
http://www.Newegg.com/product/product.aspx?item=N82E16814121422
Because it has an HDMI output, so, it will disable your sound system, once you install.
All you need to do is go into your BIOS. Find the onboard audio setting and change it from Auto to "Enabled". Make sure that you press the F10 key at this time to save the setting and again when you exit the BIOS.
Feel free to shop around for other choices. This video card is just my recommendation.
Make sure that you uninstall your old video card in Device Manager. Right-click on it and select uninstall. If there is a box of uninstalling driver check that too. Instead of rebooting the machine as he asks, close it. Unplug it and install your new card.
It starts up and let him do recognize. Install the drivers from the floppy disk, you should get with it. Then once it is nice looking, reboot the PC and go into your BIOS and change the audio settings.
Plase after back and let us know how your video card replacement.

Hello
For the model Satellite L350 - can upgrade you the graphics card in it? I know that you will very likely not be able to because it's a laptop, but I am struggling to find out if you can certainly or not?

I don't know much about your model and have no idea if a removable or integrated graphics card. But as he posted the article toshiba does not approve the upgrade of Cpu/Gpu

Problems with the graphics card on Satellite Pro M10
Hi, this is my first post on the forum. I'm not a pro with computers or anything... the problem I have with my laptop is similar to the one in this thread:
http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=26849&TSTART=0
I spent half the day trying to figure out if my graphics card is broken, but since I'm a newbie with this stuff, I'm still not sure. :(
This is what makes my M10. I'm trying to describe the symptoms that detailed as possible, but I'm German, so please excuse my lack of words in some places.
1. when I turn it on, the laptop goes through the BIOS and give me scrambled BACK-screens and a slightly Warped windows loading bar. There is the consistency check, marked by black bars connecting the top of the screen down. After the audit, the screen goes black and nothing happens, or the screen of will just show me consistency check, do nothing. Be that as it may, I have to turn off the power (I think) and restart the laptop.
2. sometimes the laptop goes through the BIOS checking & conistency with a few graphical shortcomings. The office is anything but shredded when he gets to the screen of the Windows user. The static method is if serious I don't even know where is the button turn off.
3. sometimes Notepad starts very well, with the only graphic problem being the windows loading bar. When I go into Windows, the laptop pulls me a blue screen and stops immediately.
4. sometimes, the laptop works fine for about an hour or two. After I rebooted, I have the same problems listed above, once again.
5. If I open Device Manager and disable the graphics card, the laptop works very well. I have to lower the screen resolution and colors, but I can watch videos on youtube and everything. Finally, the laptop gets very hot on the bottom and the screen goes crazy again, so I turn the damn thing off.
I don't know what that means! If my graphics card is broken, the screen should be all static, ALL the time? Not just sometimes more,... could sometimes less be some sort of communication problem between the graphics card and cpu? Please help me with this!
Another thing I'm not sure about, even after reading the thread I linked above - can I replace the graphics card or not? Everyone said something different in the other thread...
see you soon,
CozmoEdit: maybe I will add when I got the screen scrambled and everything. I installed Civilization 4, just to check if my satellite pro can handle, and everything went well for a while. The screen then haywire and I rebuilt my whole system, but display problems did not disappear completely. They were gone for almost a month, and now they are 'back' or something.
Hi Cozmo
I'm not a technician but here nobody needs technical knowledge to see that there certainly is hardware problem. I also believe that this problem occurs due to the graphics card. Graphics card is part of the motherboard and it cannot be traded separately. The entire motherboard must be exchanged.
In my opinion, you have two options: either contact the authorized service provider in your country and speak with them, what can be done, or try to get the motherboard used. If you are lucky, you can find it on eBay. I already bought several hardware components for my old Satellite P10 on eBay.
Sorry Cozmo but I do not see any other logical solution for you.
Good luck!
