Satellite L350 - unable to connect via a WLAN

Hello
New to this lark of thread

You just bought a L350
I have managed to connect to the Internet via a cable, but am unable to connect via wifi.
WiFi is turned on. He finds my BT Home Hub but when I connect, it just says: it's impossible.

Help, please

Have you checked the Wifi device in Device Manager? The driver is properly installed?

Try turning off your firewall, which could block the Wifi connection.

Also try to press Fn + F9 to toggle wireless devices

Look in the Device Manager. Maybe it's the wireless network card disabled. So activate it.

Also try an update of the WLAN driver. You can find it on the Toshiba site:

    My L300-1AS connects not wireless.

    Hello

I have a Satellite L300 too but it s a L300-10 q, but it should be very similar to yours
In any case, the hardware switch on the front of the laptop must be on the right side. On my laptop on the right side is marked with and the left side with judgment.
    Check again!
If you are not sure, take a look in the user manual.

In addition you can enable/disable WLAN with FN + F8.

If it doesn't work you should try to update the WLAN driver on your laptop. See the Toshiba WLAN portal for a newer version:

  • Satellite A500 - unable to connect to the WLan

I'd like someone to help me.

Have recently bought a satellite A500.
I'm new in the world of laptops so I'm wrong.
I connected to a router via a modem, the two netgear, the news.

Had the two config for my network. Works well as long as ethernet is connected to the router of computer.

My wireless icon on the front of the laptop is orange.
If this should be green as the router?

Pressing FN f8 it tell me wireless is connected.
When I remove the ethernet cable it tell me to fix the problem, I need to plug in the ethernet cable.
But I want to go wireless, I'm sure I'm missing something.

Rang netgear but after that my router and it is not connected to wireless technology they could help me more.
    I use windows7.

Thanks to anyone who can help me.

    > My wireless icon on the front of the laptop is orange.
    > Should it be green as the router?

The WLan led can only be ON or OFF. If the light comes on (any color) then it means that the Wlan switch is on!

It seems that the WiFi is enabled. In this case, you will need to properly configure the WiFi network.
You can use the own WLan settings in Windows or a Wlan configuration tool like Intel ProSet utility.

First need choose the right SSID (wireless network name), right of encryption (WEP, WPA, etc.) and password encryption.
Please note that all of these parameters should be the same on the router WLan and WLan configuration software!

Please check if the firewall does not affect the connection to the internet as well!

PS: make sure you use the latest version of the WLan driver
Here you can find the drivers:

  • Re: Satellite L350 - unable to connect to my router

I wonder if anyone can help.

My portable Satelite L350 will connect to each wireless network, I met with the exception of my house. This is a Buffalo wireless router and other laptops will connect to it no problem, it seems that my laptop and router buffalo communicate with each other.

    Anyone got any suggestions?

    Hello

If you are looking for wireless networks in range you can see your Buffalo router?

Make sure you are using the same standard wireless to the router and the laptop, for example, 802.11 g or draft N.
On the laptop, you can check this in the properties of the card WLAN (Device Manager).

If you use Windows Vista, you must disable the functionality of the energy-saving WLAN card. You can find in power management.

Have you tried another laptop on your router? Maybe the router causing this problem and not the laptop

I have a L350 Equim running Windows Vista Home Edition.

I was connected to my network wireless for a week with no problem and then more nothing.
My Atheros wireless network card can no longer recognize my network and it really baffles me.

All my other devices connect to my network without any problem and the laptop can pick up just about everyone elses network except mine. . I'm reduced using a dongle on a laptop wireless, a little weird.

    Any ideas?

    Hello

    Really strange what s

My first idea was a driver update maybe it helps.

You must check the WLan card status in Device Manager.
If there is some yellow exclamation points, so there is a conflict with the Wlan card.

If the yellow exclamation point appears or not, you should try to update the WLan driver and then you should check if the TCP/IP protocol settings are set to automatic.

  • Satellite L500D - unable to connect to the WLAN router

    Hey all,.

Hoping that someone here will be more help. For some reason, my laptop won't connect to a wireless network today and it was working fine yesterday.
When I troubleshoot I get: there might be a problem with the wireless network connection card

I called belkin and the Lady reset our wireless under a new name which we I = didn t need that my roommate who has vista had no problems with his internet. When I connect the cable through my laptop, I have internet

Now that I see there no button on my phone to activate the wireless it connected always automatically and the led is on.

    Hi Ren,

In the wireless issues forum, you can find hundreds of discussions on different WLAN problems.
    Did you check that?
I think that you will find your answer.

According to your assignment on resets the router I think that it s properly configured. Check the router security options if the SSID is visible and then encryption and password. Also, make sure that the MAC address filtering is not enabled.

  • Equim L350 - unable to connect to the WLAN - SOLUTION

I recently had a very strange moment with my wireless network is not recognized by the new laptop and the only work intermittently. I couldn't really understand the problem that the wireless network is very good and has been recognized by other devices. The network card was so beautiful that he picked up other nearby wireless networks, so you can imagine my frustration that he constantly ignored my own network.

After much manipulation, reset, blaming windows vista and all the world, I found the problem, and as I thought it's stupidly simple.

Modems wireless broadcast on different channels and for some reason any my internal network adapter could not read the assigned string and so cannot display the network on the list of available networks. I changed the channel settings on my router from 'Auto' to a number fixed and well... well.

For anyone faced with a network endangered, I hope this might help.

    Thanks for this info.

I understand that you have connection problems to your network WPA2-PSK.

  • Satellite A500 - 03P: unable to connect to the WLan using Win 7 + event message

    Hi all

I recently bought the Satellite A500 with the offer included Windows7 while he was available late October 09.

So I had the Toshibe DVD for the upgrade and followed the steps and Visa home premium upgrade to Windows 7. Now I have two questions.

    (1) I get a system event Notification after start, talk to me about the system event log. The full message is below.

Unable to connect to a windows service
Windows could not connect to the System Event Notification service. This problem prevents limited users to logon to the system. As an administrator, you can view the system event log to see why the service failed

    (2) I was able to use this laptop for the internet before the upgrade, both via a USB wireless drive as well to the office via a DSL modem.
Now I can't access the internet after the upgarde of Windows 7!

For example the Optus dial-up box pop up appears commandeLorsque I click on 'connect', it does not connect.

    Can anyone help please?

    Thank you
    C I

    Hey Buddy,

    (1) did you check the Configuration of the Service for this service? The Boot System Event Notification Service type must always be set to automatic. This service is absolutely necessary for Windows and shouldn't t be disabled or set to manual startup type.
    Check it!

    (2) to be honest I never heard on the internet BEFORE, but normally, it should also be possible to access the Internet with Windows 7.
Make sure that the WLAN or LAN card is installed properly and check the TCP/IP settings. If you are missing some driver you can get on the page of Toshiba.

  • Satellite L350 does not connect to the internet, network adapter yellow exclamation

Trying to help my Nan with his laptop...
    Model is Satellite L350-170

Does not connect to internet, even using the Ethernet cable. Network cards have yellow exclamation marks on it and seems he needs an updated driver. How the hell can I download and update if it does not connect to the internet. And then, what update is necessary, because I searched on here and there is no update driver for network card?

She had various internet help from its supplier and a visit at home but still no joy. Internet works fine on other devices. Any advice greatly appreciated.

All the drivers can be downloaded from the Toshiba UE driver page.
    http://www.Toshiba.EU/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp
Choose your model of laptop in the form of download and the system that is pre-installed on you unit.
Then, you will get the list of drivers.

If you are not able to connect to the internet due to lack of driver LAN/WLan, then you another computer for download.

You asked how to remove the network card?
Usually, you need to access the Device Manager (in Control Panel) then we need to expand the area to network adapters and you will find the LAN and WLan card.
Click the single LED adapter, and then press or click on uninstall button driver
