Satellite L50 - 1st - need to default BIOS password

need bios password by default L50 - 1 satellite

You can't remove a BIOS password yourself, if you forgot.
The laptop must be returned to an authorized dealer of Toshiba or Toshiba authorized provider that will remove the password as a service charge.

    Hello

Your story is a bit confusing.

    But let's talk about facts;
Firstly if you have set the BIOS password, you should be able to remove it in the BIOS if the BIOS password is known to you.

If the BIOS password is not known to you, you will not be able to withdraw without further support from the authorized Toshiba maintainer. The BIOS password must be removed using a special procedure and tools and it can be done ONLY by an ASP.
I think it should be clear now.

So if you want to remove the BIOS password, and the password is not known to you, you need the ASP and you will be charged for this.

Unfortunately, you will need the help of ASP.

  • Satellite L20-101: Question on battery & BIOS password

    Dear Sir or Madam:

I have a Toshiba laptop satellite L20-101, so can u please answer my questions below.

Is it better for the battery life to always stay connected to an electrical outlet when possible, or charge the battery and then use it until it needs to be recharged again? I mean what is best for the life of the battery, and I need to know if stay connected to AC power affects the battery life.

How can I set a password for the laptop not windows? Because when I enter BIOS setup and set a password for user and supervisor. He just ask me about this password when I try to login to Setup again, but it is still continuous to the windows boot without asking me about a password.

    What should I do?

    Kind regards

    Hello

The fact is that you can charge/discharge the battery about 500 times.
After this period, the battery will lose performance.
More recent laptops and batteries use the latest technology of load.
But I recommend to remove the battery, if you work on the DC for a long time.
In this case, you can extend the life of the battery and the performance

    I have a Satellite U400 Satellite.

Can someone direct me to a link of support for the implementation in passwords in BIOS?

There are several options and I don't know what does what...
    Thanks for your help...

    Another point:

I feel that the definition of a password or both in the BIOS will help the face recognition program to work, for some reason any.
I NEVER managed to properly configure that, although I tried several times,
go in accordance with the instructions.

A lot of frustration and time, I would say.
    This is for safety.

    > Can someone direct me to a link of support for the implementation in passwords in BIOS?
If you want to set the password in the BIOS you will need to access the BIOS by pressing the F2 key immediately after that the laptop has been powered.

There is a 3rd tab security.
There you can set the BIOS password. You would need to put everything first and then you must confirm the password once more to

    > I have the impression that the definition of a word or two in the BIOS will help the face recognition program to work, for some reason any.
This s the password of BIOS nonsense has nothing to do with the reorganization of face.

Here's a very useful thread that provides details on the reorganization of the face:

  • Satellite M - How to remove the BIOS password?

    Hello.

I forgot my BIOS password. I tried to do everything to introduce some default passwords like "toshiba" "phoenix" pressing the left SHIFT key while booting to disassemble my laptop and find my BIOS battery to remove it.

The problem is that my battery is stuck on my motherboard and I don't know what to do. I heard that there should be a few riders near the battery that could help me but I cannont find them.

I'm desperate... What can I do?
    Please help me
    Thank you.

Default password doesn't exist and there is no magic default password that can remove existing. Remove the BIOS battery will not help at all. It will not work on laptops, then forget.

BIOS password can be removed in ASP only if the closest contact with ASP and they will help you.
Theory with rider is also not correct because the BIOS removal procedure is not the same for each laptop model.

Sorry, but ASP is your only way to remove the BIOS password.

    Hi guys,.

    I have a laptop, it's a Toshiba Satellite C660D-15F
    Part No.: PSC0UE-02R00MFR

At the start it blocks on password (Bios), but the owner does not remember it.
I know there are 2 knots on the motherboard to the jumper to reset the BIOS.
Can someone tell me what is the label of these winks or give me a solution to unlock the BIOS?

    Thank you very much

BIOS password is very important security feature and we can not discuss this topic on the public forum. Why protect my phone when someone who steals, he can post it on the forum of Toshiba might ask how to remove my protection?

BIOS password must be removed by Toshiba approved technicians after verification if you are the real owner.

  • Satellite A210 how to reset the BIOS password unknown?

    Hey guys

I have a BIOS password on my Toshiba Satellite A210, I have no idea what it can be. One day, when I turned on my laptop, it came with a black screen with a blue rectangle in the Middle says "Enter password". I tried to enter my Windows login password, but it did not work.

After 3 times to try the laptop password puts himself off the coast. No member of my house using my pc, and even if they did, they don't know how to do something like that anyway. Also, I have seen on other forums that it occurred to people for no reason.

Another thing, I would like to try one of the programs of resetting the BIOS as KeyDisk or CmosPWD but if I put a CD, DVD, Flash drive, etc, in my pc and press F12 for the boot menu, nothing happens so I can't do that!

Please help, I can't use my PC and I am currently on my sisters pc!
