    Hello

I think that the new battery must be tested, but before you do make sure you use the latest version of the BIOS
I mean its battery problem or electronic books power supply and before portable s equipment is turned on, the laptop must be tested using the new pile of work well.

  • Satellite L500D battery does not charge

My L500D is less 12 months... sound closer to 8 months and the battery will not charge...
I tried the troubleshooting tips him are delivered with the user manual but light only stays on for about 5 seconds and it constantly says 0%.

Right now I am an extremely frustrated owner of Toshiba and will be offended if I need to replace the battery after 8 months of normal personal use.

All the tips, advice and suggestions are more then appreciated!

    Hello

Battery problems are nothing unusual, that sooner or later each battery will die it s only a matter of time but of course he s strange that the battery can not be charged after 8 months of use

However, the battery and the laptop are covered under warranty for 12 months.
You should get in touch with a local ASP in order to solve this problem
If the warranty is valid, everything must be done free of charge...
    .
    Good luck

  • Satellite X 200-battery will not charge

    Hello

I have a Satellite X 200 for 2.5 years now, and now that my I just noticed that my battery will also charge the driving battery is not on. I turned off the computer and opened it again and I noticed the battery led turns on for like 3 seconds then goes back again.
Is this a vista problem, a problem of battery or motherboard?

Because with the ca on the laptop works very well. Any ideas how to make sure that if it a battery issue?

    Thank you

    Hi blackmodjo,

What happens if you connect the AC/DC adapter, while the laptop is turned off? The battery will be charged or not?

If this isn't the case, it seems to be a malfunction of the battery. It s already 2.5 years that you wrote and the battery can be charged only up to 500 times. After that, it must be replaced.

New battery should t be so expensive. Just ask a service provider allowed in your country, and guys will help you to get a new one.

You have an idea, what could be the problem?
The laptop is almost three years, and the battery itself is rarely used (almost all the time),
I can't imagine it's already ready for graveyeard.

The point is that, after a long period of use of each battery stops the functionality.

I could replace it, but I use the old good classic as a desk for laptop and it s still connected to the power adapter so I put t need a new battery.

  • Camileo X 150-battery will not charge

Hello all - I bought a camcorder Camileo X 150 nine this week. The camcorder only has power when it is connected to the power adapter or the USB cable. I tried to load it on Friday, had died eight hours, came back and the battery still had no power. Then last night I load from one day to the next, still no power this morning.

I tried everything to implement but it still does not power upward only when connected to AC or USB - maybe the battery is faulty or I do something wrong?

I would appreciate any help with this issue.

You did not... something wrong to charge the battery, you must connect the power adaptor only... then the battery should start loading...

But it might be possible that the battery is discharged deeply (empty), and in this case, the adapter must be connected at least 24 hours...

Then, check again, and if the battery would not charge even if the AC adapter is connected to a longer period of time, get in touch with your dealer camcorder...
Maybe the battery / camcorder is faulty.

  • OfficeJet 150 battery will not Charge!

I bought my printer in January this year and since then, so I didn't need to unplug it, so never really tested the battery before today. The bettery is attached to the rear, as described in the manual. The power meter indicates 0 onto the stack, and more strangely, the green charging light does not illuminate, but flashes when I remove the battery while the printer is attached to the sector. If the printer works fine wirelessly while that plugged but battery does not charge or hold the load. It is an old machine at 7months!

The unit should still be in warranty, if it is seven months old. HP has a free one year standard warranty on its devices. Contact HP for warranty support.

Troubleshooting guide indicates that if the product works without being connected to the battery, but not with the battery, then replace the battery is the recommended solution.

If replacing the battery does not solve the problem then the power module has probably not.  The battery and the power unit are covered by the warranty.

    Hello
I bought my HP Pavilion 15-p001tx of the Amazon at the beginning of the month. It was a good deal and I had fun playing Call of duty black ops. Then a notification came to show that I should plug the charger. But when I plugged in the charger, another notification came telling me to plug a smart adapter for best perfomance. Now, the system tray showed me that the laptop is plugged in but not charging!
What the hell! I looked for answers and someone suggested to uninstall power microsoft acpi compliant control and restart the laptop. I did as I said, but with no use! Now, when I plug the laptop (it does) a small orange LED lights up but when I turn on my laptop, it suddenly turns off suddenly.
I'm so frustrated! Can someone help me!

  • Battery will not charge on Satellite M35X-S349

Hi, after attaching the DC Jack, which has been broken, the battery did not. When I plug my power adapter (orange) rest charge light lit for 5 seconds, then turns off. The computer can operate without the battery (AC adapter is plugged). When I turn the computer and measure the voltage of the pins going to the battery (no battery) I measure from left to right: terrestrial, 5, 7V, 5, 7V, 0 v, 3, 8V, 3, 8V, 1, 7V. So there seems to be enough voltage to charge the battery.

My question is my fault for battery, is it possible that the charging circuit is defective, or did I not solder the correct DC connector (is this possible when the computer works without a hitch of the AC adapter / CC).
    Thank you Olafur

    Hello

I m not a technician but I think it of possible that you have something wrong.
According to your assignment on pin 3 is without power. This is a problem.
Without any detailed motherboard tests it s not easy to say what's wrong.

I think that the technician who has more experience in these issues should check the laptop. Unfortunately, without a diagnosis it s not possible to know what s wrong.

  • Satellite L500 - battery won't charge

    Hello

I had a problem last week - my laptop (Satellite L500) works well on alternating current, but the icon shows "plugged in, not load ' and the battery charge is at 0%. So if I remove the outgoing cable it runs immediately. Lighting load LED on the front of the battery is not more.

Laptop is a little more than two years, but works well, everything original Toshiba (battery and charger). I had noticed recently that the battery life was not what it was when lappy was new, but it lasted at least 45 minutes or more, so I knew the battery was endangered, but it is hard to believe it's just failed when two weeks ago could load and run OK?

    Any ideas?

    See you soon,.
    Rebecca

    > so I knew the battery was on the exit door but find it's hard to think he's just failed when two weeks ago could load and run OK?

I think that nothing is impossible, that it means that the battery could be defective.
Of course, it is my personal opinion, but I see only two possibilities: either its battery problem or motherboard problem.

So if I was you, I would check if the problem persists with a new battery tested.

By the way: you can also view this short work around:
-disconenct the battery and ac adptor
-Press the button power (30-40 seconds long)
-connect the battery and AC adapter and turn on the device
-to check if the battery can be charged.

  • Satellite L30 - battery does not charge

I have a Satellite L30 and the battery does not seem to charge.

The battery keeps flickering light with yellow outside. I can use the laptop when I am connected but when if I'm moving to much the battery seems to lose the connection to the AC adapter.

I don't know if it's the battery or something else.
    Can anyone help?

Please, remove the battery and use laptop with AC adapter only. I imagine that you will be able to use your laptop properly. When the laptop is ON put the battery back in place and let us know if the battery led will continue to Flash.

If Yes, I'm pretty sure the battery is dead and you need a new.

  • Satellite L650D battery does not charge

    Hello.

My laptop model is Toshiba Satellite L650D PSK1SE.

Recently I have updated my BIOS to v1.80, because there was a problem with the installation of Linux, which is solved in v1.80. Then, I met another problem - my laptop could not hibernate.

This problem suddenly disapperared after a few months, but then battery stopped charging.
When I plug my laptop, Windows 7 says "plugged in, not of charge, percentage: number.

Sorry, I can't write exactly what message because for me, it's in Russian. But it's something like that. Ubuntu says that the battery is OK and the charge, but in fact, it is not.

It starts to load when I deattach my battery and attach it back physically.

Toshiba PC Health Monitor says my battery is OK. Also I noticed that Eco Utility DOES NOT WORK when this question appears.

This happens usually when I use a cell phone for a few days while it is in hibernation.

    That's all.
Sorry for the bad English. Looking forward for your help.

    Hello

I can't imagine that this problem could be linked to the new BIOS
    But try this:

-access the BIOS and set it to the default value (press F9 to get default and save changes by pressing F10)
-close the laptop and unplug the battery adapter and ac
-Press and hold the power button / stop along 30 sec.
-connect the battery and ac adapter and turn on the device
-check if the battery can be charged.

  • My Lenovo T400 battery will not charge?

AC works fine. I took battery inside and out, cleaned the dust, etc. Still will not take a charge. Have also tried the reset and always in vain. I read somewhere about uninstalling driver and re - install an update and how it may work sometimes. How could I do this on a T400 safely and where could I find the new driver? Thank you

It the battery is older than a year, that's probably a failure.  replace a driver should not make a difference.
