  Hello. New user on the forum and the new owner of a Toshiba.

  I am trying to create the 4 recovery disc for my Toshiba satellite L500-12th. Disks 1, 2 & 4 created with success, but 3 disk failed twice. The message I received was on the screen: cannot read the following file: F:backslash ZZImg backslash 09753xsp6.swm error Code: 020150-20-00000000
  (I can't type a backslash in this window of the computer)

  Anyone know of a solution or a similar problem?

  Sorry for the bad news but this is not possible.
  The unique programs mentioned in your post above are only part of the image of Toshiba.
  This image can be found on the Toshiba Recovery CD.

  This additional software is not a clean Toshiba software but it belongs to the software of business development and it is not possible to download from the Toshiba page.

  I'm Tibor of Hungary. I'm not a big forum user, but now I need a little help.

  I have a Satellite L500-1GE and I use Windows 7 ultimate (64 bit). My problem is the following:
  I can't use shortcut keys (FN + F1... 9 buttons) and so I can not turn on/off the wireless. IT always work (still wireless led burn). I downloaded the package value, hotkey, accessibility pilot but useless. In basis without a driver a few work application (ESC, F1, F5, F6, F7) but I set the value package nothing works.

  The most important function for me, it's the wireless switching (FN + F8) because if it works always I can't use my ability to complete accumlator laptop.

  Could you help me on this problem?

  To use the FN keys, you need to install Toshiba Value added Package and maps Flash supports the utility. Make sure that the two versions are released for Windows 7 64 bit already. If you choose a version of Vista it does not work!

  Value added Package must be installed in the first place. ;)

  I installed Win7 on my Satellite A100-590 (PSAA9E-03Z00QGR) today. Everything works fine except for the display drivers.

  Edit: the graphics card is an ATI Mobility Radeon X 1600

  Extract the files in a new folder created. Open it and use setup.exe.
  What happens when you start it manually using setup.exe?

  Alternatively, you can try to start the installation in the Bin folder.

  I have a problem with my graphics ATI Mobility Radeon x 1600 card card. I can't update to the latest driver from the ATI. The program says that it can not install on my system - contact company for the most recent driver. But the one that is provided by Toshiba is almost two years!
  It all started with, that I could not run FIFA 2009... even if it clearly States in EA own manual that this graphics card is supported! But I do not see everything in the game - except the players. Only their shadows are visible...

  I really wonder that many people do not understand why the laptop manufacturers don't offer drivers for graphics cards so often.
  Each laptop manufacturer deals with design, hardware components and drivers used for the operation of the equipment. On laptops, hardware components are miniaturized and placed close to each other. This means that the heat and is a common problem for the designers of the laptop.

  Each computer laptop (hardware, drivers, BIOS, cooling system) is designed to operate in optimal conditions. If you want the new driver that can force a graphics card to run on the maximum limit, the result will be more heat. More heat means more risk for damaging hardware and overheating.

  So to laptops, there are limits that must and should be respected. Graphics card manufacturers cannot just offer new drivers for laptops and be responsible for the damage. When some owner of the laptop is damage graphics card because of the driver who should be responsible? ATI or Toshiba?

  For this reason, graphics card manufacturers say clearly: If you want the new driver laptop computer contact the manufacturer. Manufacturers must also protect the customer s of material and be careful with this stuff.

  So I think you see how it works and the display driver update will be probably endless discussion on each laptop computers forum.

  Do you have something to change on the laptop before you start the Toshiba Recovery disk?

  It's not easy to say which is the reason, but in your case I would start the recovery of HARD drive option. Go to the advanced boot menu, select fix my computer.
