  Anyway, AFAIK your laptop is equipped with an Intel graphics card then I recommend to download the driver form Intel directly because the Web from Toshiba site displays only the Windows XP display drivers.

  Were able to successfully install Windows 7RC on the L10. There is a missing video card driver and I can't seem to find it on the download site (XP drivers seem compatible with Win7 because of its XP mode).

  Apparently, this has something to do with the graphics card & I get the following message is displayed:

  But it seems that the display driver is available for Windows XP only.

  As far as I know that this laptop is equipped with an Intel graphics card so I would check the Intel website for a Windows driver. I'm pretty sure you'll find a driver for Vista (which should work on Windows 7) and perhaps already for Windows 7 also.

  I have a L850-1HT (PSKG8E), I installed a fresh Win7 64 bit, but I can't find any driver that would work with my version of the laptop.

  In the Toshiba box drivers for win7 iIcan only find drivers for Intel graphics card, no driver AMD.

  Can someone help me out here.

  Take a look in the download area of the Satellite L850 PSKDLE series drivers.
  You will find the ATI / AMD display driver and these two series use the same graphics chip so this driver should work for the PSKG8E series too.

  I got a Dell Inspiron M5040 with Windows 7 for Christmas 2011 and I started to use Windows Live Movie Maker, but whenever I get in the middle of editing a video, the screen went black for about a second and says "display driver stopped responding and recovered." The first time this error message has occurred, the laptop computer itself restarted and is went to a blue screen with the text, telling me to go into some sort of 'safe mode' (I couldn't read the text in time). I have all the latest drivers, my laptop is new, only yesterday lit.

  What can I do about it? I really want to use Movie Maker. I'm new to the Forum, so I hope someone help me. Thank you very much. Any help is appreciated.

  What you see is called the action process.in TDR (Timeout, recovery of the display).

  In earlier versions of windows when the display device ran out of resources throughout the system would stop responding which would require a reboot to recover.

  In Windows 7, if the display device is not responding, the system will try to stop and restart the device to recover.

  I just bought the Satellite T130-02F and after choosing 32-bit operating system, I had the power to recharge the battery and then started to get 'to display driver errors"where the screen black flash and then flash back on.   After that, make sure that the latest version of the BIOS is installed. You can download the Toshiba site too.

• White screen after the Satellite Pro P200 display driver update

  I installed the latest display driver ATI Mobility Radeon HD2600 (8.432, on the site of Toshiba through Tempo) on my Satellite Pro P200 yesterday.   Can you please check under display properties > settings > advanced > monitor, is there possibility to activate the option Hide modes that this monitor cannot display.

I n t have A500D before me so that I can t test it, but usually Windows 7 drivers also work on Vista 64 bit, because they are very similar.
