Satellite L650 no sound from speakers or phones

I.ve just had my first problem with my Toshiba Satellite L650 - particularly serious, because I rely on it for all my music playback!

Normally I can plug and on the headphone jack on my stereo, speakers cut out and I get HiFi glorious while it is inserted, and the speakers onboard bounce when I delete.
Today, I have plugged as ususal and listened to a few songs.

I unplugged (to move the laptop) and the internal speakers not to bounce.
I reconnected the headphone jack and there was no sound from my stereo (finger test confirms the work of jack stereo).

I checked all the app and the main volume - level in good health indicators were present.
In the Device Manager, all reported correctly and counter activity took place during the test routines of the audio device for both speakers and headphones, but no real signal to the phone jack, or speakers.
"Update drivers" who fired the message I; m to date.

I uninstalled the drivers of "High definition Audio Device", and scanned for hardware changes after - drivers were automatically found and installed successfully, but still no sound.
In desperation I dug an old USB-audio gadget, plugged and his fate that perfectly well by the USB port.

Can anyone suggest what I can try to force an internal connection between Microsoft Sound Mapper (i.e. the string digital things that seems to work very well) and outputs real material?
This machine is not an old duffer and this should not be the case!

Thanks in advance!

Hello

Hmm, I doubt that the headphone is faulty because in this case, the internal speakers of the laptop computer s should work properly.

Please go to Panel of-> sound-> the Read tab.
The speakers as default device?

In addition, please see the Audio Manager HD Realtek located on the control panel.
On the right, you should see a few options (in my case, that they are marked with a folder icon). Check it!

  • Satellite L650 - no sound from the left speaker

Hi, I just bought a Toshiba Satellite L650.

For some reason, the sound is only coming out of the left speaker and no sound comes out at all of the right speaker. Also even if I increase the volume of the sound still seems very low. I have reviewed and played around with the settings and same speaker balances without success.

    Help, please.

    Hi Rick1968,

Theoretically, the left speaker could be faulty and needs replacement.
What you can do is to check the sound settings where you can test different balances. Also make sure that its latest driver of Toshiba official Web site is installed.

By the way: are you running pre-installed version Windows from Toshiba?

  • Satellite A200-1AE: sound from speakers when headphones are connected

    Hello. Sorry for my English.

I have problem when I started a player (winamp player or a movie or a game with the sound) and I want to change the sound from the speaker to the helmet by plug them into the headphone jack. The sound is still speaker.

So I just restart this player or the game and then sound is switched to the headphones.

So in sum up: when I want to listen to the sound of some player I have to plug in headphones first and then start the player in order reverse, the sound is not switched to the helmet line.

In other laptops with Vista I have check this problem is not to happen.
    Do you have any suggestions?

    Hello Pawel

I have the Satellite A200 too preinstalled with recovery DVDs. I was very curious and I tested it on my laptop. In my case everything was OK. Through the use of headphones, Laptop speakers are automatically TURNED off. Remove helmet speakers work again.

I am really confused, and it is really not easy to say what the problem is here. AFAIK in headphone plug it is small, and through the use of headphones this past should disable Laptop speakers. All you can do is check if it happens after clean OS installation, maybe update the BIOS or install the latest driver sound.

Sorry, but I don't see any other possibilities. If anything maybe you must contact the service in your country. I really can't imagine that this little mixer may be defective but service may only do a check.

    Bye and good luck!

  • Satellite L70 - no sound from speakers but headphones work well

    Hello

I have a sound problem with my computer (satellite 70 L)
I tried everything but nothing to do, no audio output, but plugging the headphones into the audio port reinstall his works well, so I uninstall Conexant, even for its dts but its still doesn't work does not,

    Thank you

In my view, the symptoms of laptop are clear enough: he does not resemble his driver or system problem because the sound seems to use the headset.

I think that the internal speakers are defective. It seems strange to me that the two speakers have begun to malfunction at the same time, but this problem may occur.

But before you contact the authorized Toshiba maintainer to fix, I would recommend you to recover the laptop just to be sure that this problem is not related to the failure of the system/software to 100%.

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download IDT Audio Installer on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp56501-57000/sp56900.exe

One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers.  Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you're done, shut down the laptop and perform a "Hard Reset" for your model, as described in the document of HP here.

One when you're done, press next to the key ESC that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete.  Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices.  'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.

    Kind regards

  • Equium M50-192: no sound from speakers or headphones

Sound disappears after working for three months. No sound from speakers or headphones. Verification of the hardware system breaks down.

    Help!

    Hello

If after checking the sound settings package (Panel, controller next to the laptop, etc.) the sound doesn't come out so I guess that the sound card on the Board is dead.
In this case only the ASP will help you solve the problem. Maybe the motherboard must be changed.

  • My sound from speakers and shit

(I have the IdeaPad y510p, btw).

Then I updated level to Windows 10 Home and noticed that my JBL speakers now sound like shit.

I reinstalled the sound drivers, nothing works.

I noticed, however, that things sound beautiful when you use headphones... so I don't think that it is the sound card, but the speakers that have reset or whatever the update.

I remember when I bought this PC firstly that there was only some built in Lenovo crudware to change sound options, and most of them makes the speakers sound bad, as they do now - slender and away a little weak. So I uninstalled.

Now that my sound from speakers like this again, is there a way I can get this program once again? I have no idea what it was called, but it allowed you to adjust your speakers for stuff like 'movies' and 'music '. I want to see if fiddling with making my speakers together again.

And otherwise, a Council? Any ideas?

    Grazie.

Of course, how selfish of me.

Type in "change the settings of the sound card" in the search bar and open it. Double-click on your speakers to open the speaker Properties window. In this, go to the tab called Dolby and click the power button in the upper left corner to switch it off.

  • No sound from speakers after updating sound card driver

    Hello

I recently had problems with my Dell Inspiron 9400/E1705 (vista 32-bit windows operating system). I couldn't get a USB microphone to work and I decided to update the sound card driver. I downloaded and updated what I thought, it was the right driver (sigmatel high definition audio codec) and since there is no sound from speakers. I followed the guide from Dell troubleshooting and disconnect any external devices and then click right click the mixer volume in the system tray, and then clicked on "open volume Mixer" and I get the message: no audio device installed. I went to the control panel to check the sound card driver and he told me that the codec sigmatel high definition audio works well and he has not updated. I unfortunately can't restore the system that system restore installation in my computer stopped working awhile (even when I start windows in safe mode) so I'm stuck. I think that I have installed the wrong driver for the sound card but don't find it not easy to understand which driver to search the dell support center. It seems that the audio card is called something like "HDAUDIO\func01_ & FRI etc. looks Chinese to me. Could someone help? I would be very grateful

  • Satellite L650 - no sound external subwoofer, from speakers

    Hello

I recently acquired a [Toshiba Satellite L650-14F | http://se.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/ro/product/Satellite-L650-14E/1086065/] laptop comes with no OS.

    I installed Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit on it as well as all the pilots involved, including the [last driver sound | http://se.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_driver_details.jsp?LNG=27&service=SE&selC fulltext = 2 & selFamily = 2 & selSeries = 178 & selProduct = 537 6 & selShortMod = 1000 & language = all & selOS = 30 & selType 4 2 = & yearupload = & monthupload = & dayupload = & useDate = null & mode = allMachines & search = & action = search & macId = & country = all & selectedLanguage = all & type = 42 & page = 1 & ID = 74 199 & DISO = 30 & driverLanguage = 42].

The audio chipset seems to be Conexant SmartAudio HD CX20671. However, when I connect my Logitech 2.1 audio system (2 speakers, 1 subwoofer) via the headphone jack, I have no sound in the subwoofer, only the speakers.

If I right click on the sound Manager icon in Windows 7 and select "Playback devices" then Conexant and set up, I can only see the Audio channels: stereo and no other options. It's 2010. HD audio has been around for some time now. I sincerely hope that Toshiba did not have a modern laptop with only stereo support.

Any help to get the subwoofer will appreciated.

    Hi Skello,

What Logitech speakers, you have exactly? Which audio port do need?

Have you already tested the speakers on another computer to test if the subwoofer is working correctly?
    All cables are connected correctly?

Also check the Windows sound settings. Change the settings for desktop speakers as Akuma wrote.

Can you please tell us what drivers have updated you and why? What was wrong with the old drivers?

When you start your next portable speakers test time using preinstalled Toshiba diagnostic tool and post the result here.

What about the temperature of the laptop. 80 c is high temperature but still not critical, and if your mobile phone is placed correctly on the desktop and the cooling fans are not blocked I think you can continue to play the games.
Before the games close all unnecessary applications and uses laptop computer on power plan to high performance.

  • Qosmio PX30T - no sound from speakers

I just replaced a failing on my PX30T HARD drive and now I get no sound from the internal speakers. I used the media restore and also put all the patches and windows 8.1. Still no sound from the speakers, but the headphones work well.

As a last resort, I started with an image of Ubuntu USB and also no sound. I think I might have loosened a wire when replacing the HARD drive, but I don't see how because there are no other wires in the region. Ideas?

If the headset work correctly, the audio driver must be already installed and I don't think that a parameter must be checked and changed.

    Reach:
    Control Panel? sound? Recovery tab
Here, you should see the speakers and speakers must be marked as default device.

Make and check if the sound seems once again
